![]() Nellim, Lappland, Finland Sauli Niinistö President of Finland Welcome to the Prime Minister of Spain to Finland. I hope we can accomplish a lot in our summit to make better relations between Spain and finland and also work to make marijuana more legal in both of our countries so that we can use the revenues to make our countries better. Another thing we would like is to send just a few elite and special forces to Spain each year to get used to warm climates and be able to train in those environments so they can help operations in NATO and the EU in warmer areas that they might not do well in without special training. |

Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy It's great to be here in finland. I'm allowing troops into Spain for training purposes. I will also support a referendum on marajuana in Spain. This will greatly help the economy |

Sauli Niinistö President of Finland I greatly appreciate it, perhaps you could pass a law to ease restrictions of marijjuana for people to have it in posession until after the referendum that way people dont feel pressured unfairly by the police or local laws to vote against having marijuana. There are many good benefits of marijuana such as medical purposes. and also i think a good number for troops coming to spain is around 50 every 6 months to allow them to rotate so that they can all benefit from the climate and training. Would you like to send some of your troops to do the same thing in Finland so you can know how to operate in a cold arctic weather? Up here in lapland where we are having our meetings the temperature can regularly get very very cold even below zero sometimes! I think it would be a good thing for sure. |

[OOC: I'm not in this conference but I want you to be aware that any change in marijuana possession laws within an EU member state would have to be discussed and reconciled with the entirety of the EU because of differences in drug laws, and concerns regarding the movement of legal substances in one member state into another member state where said substances would be considered illegal.] |

[OOC: Marijuana is not used freely in the Netherlands, there are an insane number of restrictions on the sale, production, and use of weed to the point where some people consider it still to be criminalized, and the Dutch government is cracking down even harder on recreational drug use, possession, and production. Not to mention, if the Dutch Government were to legalize it, they would still have to consult the rest of the EU.] |

Please stop this ridiculousness, there is immense protest against the Dutch policy of condoning small amounts of (soft) drugs. At the same time the policy is far wider than just condoning small amounts of drugs. As said any significant policy change will have to be approved through the EU, as due to Schengen these policy changes severely affect the entire Union. I also do not believe that this is a matter is placed so highly on national agendas, as there are numerous more important issues to address. |
