Brazil and the Netherlands agree to a licensing agreement for the De Zeven Provinciën class Frigate to Brazil exchange for $250,000,000 licensing fee to Brazil per ship built. Article I The parties agree to a licensing agreement for the De Zeven Provinciën class Frigate for production in Brazil; Article II The parties agree to a payment by Brazil of $250,000,000.00 US Dollars for the license per ship built; Article III The parties agree to allow for modification of the De Zeven Provinciën class Frigate by the Brazil to fit the military requirements of Brazil; Article IV Brazil agrees to not export the De Zeven Provinciën class Frigate without the explicit permission of the Netherlands; Article V Upon the signage of representatives from the Brazilian Ministry of Defense and the Dutch Ministry of Defense this agreement will be sent to each parties respective legislatures for ratification. |

Approved - The license is viewed as very good business for the Netherlands, but a very poor deal in Brazil. |
