For a long time, man has cetaceans (most often dolphins and orcas) in ponds and put on stage in shows. Do you agree with that?

I do agree if they are educational shows. But one of the things is I don't mind orcas being kept in captivity but they need bigger enclosures and some improvement on the facilities. It's thanks to places like aquariums that I have seen these animals up close and have a big respect for them.

I have a love-hate relationship with places that exhibit cetaceans like SeaWorld. The animals are forced to do these shows, but the facility also does a lot of research on these species and promotes conservation. So it's kinda like hard work for one animal to raise awareness for its entire species, which I'm not sure is fair to that one animal or not. But, life isn't fair...

I agree with them being in captivity but the way they are being kept needs to be fixed drastically.

Many of these species are pelagic. Meaning their home ranges and their size allow them to be constantly on the move. A orca in Alaska can be found at the southern tip of South America if it wanted to travel that far.

Also if not captive but you still want them in a aquarium, build the place near a area where wild orcas reside and usually stay. There are orca colonies that do usually stay in one place for a while.
