Entrance/Reptile Gallery

Welcome to the Tropical Wildlife Conservation Center & Zoo (T.W.C.C.Z.)! Located on a small Caribbean island, the zoo is home to more than 30 species of animals from five continents, many of which are endangered! Let's begin our tour!

We start at the zoo's entrance, a large building:

The entrance contains restrooms, ticket desks, and a locker room for guests to place their belongings if need be:

The entrance also contains a small Reptile Gallery, home to five species of reptiles/amphibians:

The first exhibit is home to an old male Alligator Snapping Turtle named Jeffrey. Jeffrey was originally the pet of a man in Florida. When Jeffrey grew too big and unpredictable, he came to us and has stayed here ever since. He is one of the oldest residents in the zoo:

The Gallery is also home to a female Basilisk, a male Chameleon, and five Tree Frogs:

The final resident is a female Burmese Python, who was also a pet. She came to us a few years ago and was made an exhibit in the Reptile Gallery when the entrance was renovated.

This concludes today's update! Keep an eye out for the next update, where we'll view the freeflight aviary! Comments and a like are much appreciated!
