UK daily outlook - 5th to 7th July By Katie Greening, Meteorologist ![]() LEON BROWN/WEATHER.CO.UK Saturday: As that rain clears eastern counties through Saturday morning, spells of sunshine will follow in from the northwest. It will be a notably cooler day for southeast England in comparison to the past couple of days with temperatures on average 5 to 6C cooler. Staying cloudy across the southeast with a risk of a few showers there, although they are likely to be scattered. Unlike in Ireland and Scotland, where showers will be heavy, frequent, and gusty too. ![]() Sunday: That cold front will clear Kent overnight into Sunday, with bright or sunny spells for many southern and eastern counties. Heavy, perhaps thundery, afternoon showers will develop towards the north & west. A risk of an isolated shower or two cannot be ruled out across the Midlands and eastern counties, in those brisk westerly winds. Highs of 21 to 22C towards the south-east, but elsewhere temperatures will range between 17 to 20C. ![]() Monday: Some discrepancies regarding the timing of the rain over the southwest on Monday. Currently, heavy rain & fresh winds are expected over Cornwall early afternoon. A cloudier day for most as low pressure sinks south, with scattered rain showers likely in most places, although East Anglia and Kent may escape those. Again, maximum temperatures ranging from 17 to 22C, the warmest being in London and the surrounding areas. ![]() Source: uk.weather.com |
