Heavy showers, wettest in east? Best make the most of early sunsine A week of two halves ahead. First part of the week is looking to be dominated by heavy showers. These are going to be thundery in the east, and there is a risk of some local flooding here from surface water on Tuesday afternoon. Less showers in the west, but still some heavy ones around. And then the east draws our attention again with low pressure in the North Sea pushing a front and some rain westwards, but again most of the rain in the east. Forecast rainfall chart below shows the predicted rain to the end of next MOnday, over an inch predicted for much of the country, most in central and eastern areas. Not too grand is it? ![]() Source ......................... http://www.weatherweb.net/ |
