Torrential thunderstorms tonight More heavy showers on Saturday Many in Ireland, southern and central England and Wales were awoken by thunderstorms last night. These are now tracking northwards through northern England and Northern Ireland, arriving in southern and western Scotland this afternoon. Becoming hot for England and Wales, highs near 33C in parts of London and the southeast Midlands are possible. Then get set for some wet weather through tonight and Saturday. Torrential thunderstorms passing northwards into the Midlands, southern England and Wales overnight. These then passing north through Saturday with further thunderstorms arriving in the south.
