Not a bad week, warm again
An increasing risk of showers

After the heavy thunderstorms, rain and high temperatures of this weekend, the coming week isn't looking too bad.

Many areas will be on the dry side, although an odd shower is possible.

There will be sunny spells for many and it will be feeling warm again, probably becoming hot in central and southern England although not quite as crushingly hit as it has been.

An increasing tendency for showers in the second half of the week, most through central and western areas, a few of them heavy on the hills. The chart below from our friends at http://www.weatheronline.co.uk/ shows total forecast rainfall to the end of next Sunday - don't take it too literally, but it is useful as a guide.
