UK daily outlook - 25th to 28th July. Very warm and sunny until Saturday ![]() Cliffs at Flamborough. The fine and very warm weather will last until Saturday over England and Wales, with temperatures in the high 20s away from coastal sea breezes. The coolest temperatures will be along the east coast. We'll see a change for the north on Saturday with a cold front moving southwards bringing rain to Scotland. Glasgow will catch 4 or 5mm of rainfall on Saturday mid afternoon to evening time, and there will be some heavier rain to the east over Edinburgh in the evening. ![]() The cold front will move south early Sunday, but give little if any rainfall to south Wales and central and southern England, but temperatures will drop a few degrees. However, low pressure over the North Sea on Sunday will bring further rain and showers to Scotland and also to northern England in moderate northwesterly winds.Glasgow can expect scattered showers through the day. Temperatures on Sunday will still be in the low 20s over the south and perhaps 25C along the south coast from Hampshire to Kent. It will be more like 18 to 20C across the north of the UK ![]() It looks like rain will spread to central and eastern England on Monday next week while the north improves, so it'll be a dry and cloudy day for southern Scotland and Glasgow. Temperatures will lift again over southern Britain after Monday. It won't get as hot as this week but should reach 25 to 27C in the south by Thursday. The north will be cooler and nearer average temperatures, with winds often from the north west. We'll see a few light showers in Glasgow on Tuesday then it will be mainly fine until Friday.
