Three Russian Masters caught drunk in European waters in just two days

July 31, 2014

Three Russian-speaking Masters caught drunk in two days – maybe not even one of them is actual Russian citizen, but European media call them “Russian”, which is not too far from true.

Most part of Russian, Ukrainian and Baltic States officers are Russians, or Russian-speaking, or of Russian origin.

Comparing to other cases of drunken masters and officers, it must be noted, that the “Russian drinking” percentage hardly exceeds any other nationality, considering the number of Russian officers employed by European shipowners.

But now, in the light of recent and ongoing events in Ukraine, EU may take a stricter approach, like the one it took towards Filipino officers.
