Sunshine for most, but showers & rain too

Ex-Bertha hit the headlines this weekend, and like any bad woman (or man) she is going to be hanging around for a few days yet ;)

The low pressure area that was Bertha will be in the North Sea and it going to be controlling the weather across the UK and Ireland.

She will be bringing strong winds, showers and some longer spells of rain at times. It will be feeling much cooler than recently too.

However, it's worth noting that although the weaner will be more mixed than recently, it isn;t going to be a washout eek by any means, so if you are on holiday don't worry too much. Just get set for fleeces on the beach and a few beach wind breaks.

The waters around the UK and Ireland are still invitingly warm, ideal for that mid-summer dip! Come on, you know you want to !
