UK daily outlook - 29 to 31 October![]() A cloudy seaview around the south west coastal path, Devon Wednesday will be overcast with outbreaks of light rain and drizzle for much of southern England and Wales. Southern England will be under a cold front that will begin to move slowly northward. There will be some respite for Scotland and Ireland, under higher pressure giving dry and bright weather, sunny at times, but a frosty start. Gentle to moderate easterly winds and maximum temperatures between 8 and 11C in Scotland and northern England, 10 and 13C across central England, Ireland & Wales, and 14 and 16C for southern counties of England. ![]() It will be cloudy on Thursday with mostly light rain patches over England and Wales moving northward to Scotland on a gentle to moderate southerly wind. It'll become dry over the extreme south east of England during the afternoon and spreading to the Midlands and most of Wales in the evening. Maximum temperatures will be 8 to 11C Scotland, 12 to 14C Ireland and much of northern England and Wales, and 15 to 17C for central and southern England. Cold front rain is expected to move eastward across Ireland during the course of Friday edging into western Scotland by the evening whilst turning more showery in nature across Ireland. Much of England and Wales will remain dry with some good spells of sunshine. There will be moderate southerly and south westerly winds, making it fresh across the west.
