Bank Holiday Weekend?
You don't wanna know!

By Simon Keeling in Wombourne, Staffs 00:01hrs 26/04/2015

It may still be a week away, but the chart below is not what you want to see over a Bank Holiday weekend.

It shows low pressure over the south of England, but affecting the whole of the UK, Ireland and much of northern France. It would be showers or longer spells of rain.

Don't despair too much just yet though. There is much uncertainty, models are changing all the time, and so it may be that things do not turn out as badly as could be indicated by the chart.

For now start thinking 60% risk of showers or rain, 40% chance of the weather be fair.

We'll keep you updated with any changes.
