Hi Jessie, It goes through the motions of copying the file from the iphone and then just stops and there is nothing there - it is rather a large file On fb from the phone, it compresses the video and get stuck trying to upload it .... x |

HI Jessie I believe it is to do with Windows XP and the size of the file I am trying to copy over. I now wonder if I plug my iphone into any laptop or pc that has windows vista or 7 would it let me view it as a "hard-drive". Have the most wonderful video of Mum's 80th that the clan would love to see. Soooo frustrated. grrrr. ![]() |

sorry for the delay daisy , I use windows xp with my iphone and dont have any issues. Worth a shot trying to disable your anti-virus just for a few minutes. When you say you cant see the drive , have you tried another usb slot on the laptop? |

HI jessie Well finally I got it to work on my daughter's laptop with windows vista. Windows XP does not like files larger than 500MB - so we did it on hers and it worked. incidentally it took four and a half hours to load a five and half min video onto FB - anyhow I will know for future reference to keep the vids shorter and less than 500MB. Thanks anyway. coming down in buckets here since mid afternoon yesterday!
