Jubilee update - showers?
Certainly looks cooler

By Simon Keeling in Wombourne 13:15hrs 29/5/12
Temperature: 21.4C Weather: Breaking cloud

A quick update for you regarding the weather for Monday.

Detail is changing, but for those of you planning outdoor activities, you should be prepared for a few showers across central and eastern England. A few showers could occurs over the hills of Wales and northern England too.

A front is close to western Scotland later, and it is this feature we will be watching closely in the coming days as should it move more quickly than predicted right now, it could lead to some rain and cloud pushing south.

Keep everything you have crossed though and it might be that the rain does not arrive in Scotland until nightfall.

Certainly cooler than now for all, highs at 17C on southern coasts, 11C in northern Scotland.
