Wednesday's Look Ahead - improving final third June? from ![]() >> Simon's Weather Musings << Hints from CFS that June should improve But it will take a time By Simon Keeling in Clarach, Ceredigion 11:15hrs 06/06/12 Temperature: x Weather: x After such unsettled weather through the weekend, you will no doubt be searching for the time when the weather settles down once again. Well it may take some time, but there are hints that an improvement is going to be underway from around 18th-21st June onwards. This coincides with guidance given to private clients that the final third of June was looking drier and brighter, and although warm it would probably not be in the realms of heatwaves. The chart below is the latest from the CFS and shows the 500mb height anomalies for week 3 and 4. The orange and red colours over the UK show above normal heights over the UK which indicates high pressure. There is more in today's video and of course I'll keep you up to date. ![]() Video link .......................... http://youtu.be/YrZIhiCUPfQ |
