Monday’s Europe Video: 7-10 Day European Outlook . Following a wet day across many parts of the Ireland, NI with some thunderstorms popping up, these rains spread across the Channel and into western Scotland tonight but this weather eases and weakens through tomorrow morning allowing for another decent and mostly dry day with only an odd shower here and there. Much of the UK looks fine, dry and warmer with highs pushing into the low 20s across the South, upwards of 18C in the North. The heat continues to build west over mainland Europe and Med. Watch out for storms over Germany into the Low Countries on Wednesday. By Thursday after a warm, more settled Tuesday and Wednesday across the UK more wind and rain pushes in from the Atlantic and by Friday the low spins overhead making for a blustery and showery day. Next week sees the heat ease from Germany on eastwards as the jet amplifications flattens out and the heat becomes pushed south into the Med. Progressing through next week, there are initial indications of a ridge trying to build north from Spain and a trough attempting to drop southeast from Scandinavia into the very areas hottest just now and over the past several weeks.
