Get burning those fossil fuels We need less hurricanes! Here's a good one from the, 'I know it is science, but I still don't believe it' file. Researchers at the Met Office Hadley Centre claimed to have established a link between less pollution in the atmosphere and an increase in hurricane activity. Now, this isn't entirely a new story as the link here .. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/6038296.stm confirms. Forecasters have been tracking Saharan dust for several years now and were aware of the impact it had on hurricane intensity and number. So, the parodoxy of climate change continues, although this one is a corker. To pollute or not to pollute, that is the question! ![]() Source ........ http://www.weatherweb.net/wxwebtvsimonnew.php?ID=782 |
