Hello Metal Modders, I wanted to compile a list of all the commercially available Necron themed hobby resources and alternative models. For the Necron terrain index, see this thread. If you know of any Necron hobby resources or alternative models I missed, let me know or add it to the thread, and I’ll update the first post. Hobby Resources Counters & Tokens Litko Game Accessories Litko makes a ton of tokens and counters - they also do custom work. Someone sent in a design for a laser etched fluorescent green circuit board. Seeing how cool that looked, I requested a design for a green circuit-board skull counter to use as reanimation protocol and Entropic strike markers. LITKO Game Accessories - Search Results for "Necron" Battlemarkers Several sets of markers covering every every 40k situation with bright bold Necron colors and designs. 1-inch round with metal bases. Battlemarkers - Necron Markers Silver Compass Designs Interesting sets of tokens indicating a bunch of effects like quantum shielding and units marked by deathmarks. Interesting 3D effect with colored words cut into the clear plastic. It says you can also paint them yourself. Silver Compass Necron Tokens Micro Art Studio Cool little obelisk/monolith tokens. Could be used as wound counters, objective markers, or just to spice up the battlefield. Monolith Markers Genius Factory Games Quantum shielding, RP, shield and character counters, and new 40mm scarab tokens! Thanks to themidget428 for this link. I am a fan of all things "Necron Neon Green" and the Lychguard-shaped shield shape of the tokens looks very cool! Genius Factory Necron Tokens Laser Cut Card: Laser etched plywood number counters with a Necron backing. Counters Clear rods in alternative colors Probably not as important now, with the move away from the clear rods. But I still love them. Apparently the 2.44mm (3/32") rods are a good fit for the Warriors and 3mm (1/8") for the Monolith. Plastruct seems to be *one* of the only company making rods small enough to be used with Necrons: Plastruct, Inc. - Home MiniWarGaming has colored rods sorted and organized for Necron conversions. These may even be the plastruct rods available in a more convenient ordering place. Thanks to Flippers1991 for the link. MiniWarGaming series of conversion tubes PK-Pro A German site with a collection of neon rods in yellow, red, green, and blue - designed for Necrons. PK-Pro - Neon Round Profiles Tap plastics This place seemed to have a lot of interesting products, but the sizes seem to be too large for anything but terrain: Colored Acrylic Rods, Colored Plastic Rods, Plastic Rods: TAP Plastics Magnetic Flight Connectors Ninja Magic I have these on all my destroyers and barges. They're great because you can easily pull the model off and store the base and model separate for transporting - so no broken flying stands. During the game, the magnet keeps the base attached when you move the model. I'm not sure I'd trust them with a Ghost Ark though... maybe two bases one at front and one at the rear of the Ark. Magnetic Adapter Products Back 2 Base-ix I just spotted these as well. A different design - two magnets in a wide stand. Can be ordered in different colors. Back 2 Base-ix Flight Stands Bases Base-X-of-War The Necrons will Be Back with these great looking thematic bases detailing an Ancient Necropolis rising from the ground. Or possibly buried by time and ravages of war - your call! Ancient Necropolis Bases Evil Mushroom Evil Mushroom does some Resin bases with crystals Evil Mushroom Games Tabletop Art Crystal "tech" bases - crystals on base with a distinct high-tech feel - including new large oval flight bases. These look very awesome - I wish they had been around when I started basing my necrons! Crystal Tech Bases Warmill "Techron" Jewel Bases - very unique looking bases etched with Necronish symbols Techron Jewel Bases Puppetswar Minerals Field and Cyber Undead bases. First is another entry into the Crystals on resin base. The second is collection of ruined statue Necron faces on the bases. Puppetswar bases Laser Cut Card A set of abstract design base toppers made from Laser cut wood. Would look nice on a display piece or to simulate a Necron world/city, blank bases to use for custom objective markers, or maybe even just as scenery accents - not used as bases at all. Base Toppers Epicast Epicast also makes some resin crystal bases but their store site is down for me. www.epicast.com/ Fantascape A full set of "Necruin" bases from infantry up to flyer sizes. Has the look of Necron symbols carved into rock that is now cracked and jagged. Necruins Alternative Models Kromlech: Kromlech is starting a new line and the first entry is these three Technomancer Staves! Looks like Cryptek bits to me. :) I am overjoyed and here's hoping for some nice legs/bodies etc to go with them so I can retire my sad sad conversion attempts. Technomancer Staves Puppetswar Cyber models, weapons, and bits: NEW - Cyber Droid Elite (Lychguard), Cyber Droids (Immortals), Giant Cyber Beetles (Spyder), Cyber Anthropods (Wraiths), Cyber beetles (Scarabs), Cyber Bikes (Tomb Blades) with optional Bzzt (Tesla) weapon bit, Alternative Necron heads, and NEW Cyber Grim Reaper (C'Tan). Cyber Range of Models Bzzt (Tesla weapon) Micro Art Studio Very slick single-piece molded swarm bases. Mechano Swarms Mr. Dandy A robotic Arachnoid (Spyder) and Beetloids (Scarabs) Arachnoid Beetloids Bitsbox - Bitspudlo - Trinity Empire: The "Trinity Tomb Crawler" a perfect Triarach Stalker and the new Trinity Tomb Scarabs (Scarab Swarms). Trinity Empire Copplestone Castings A set of classic metal Terminator-style robots. Copplestone Castings - Terminator Robots Alternative C'tan I think this Yellow Shinigami mini would make an amazing C'tan in a list with lots of Flayed ones! Flayed One C'Tan Hydra Miniatures - Robot Queen From their Retro Raygun robot lines, I think this metallic queen would be a cool way to add some variety to the traditional royal courts. Robot Queen Original post by: Cryptek of Awesome |

If you have never heard of Titan Forge, they are a pretty cool little place that does a Necron-theme base set. The typical desert-style with crystals type, but additionally they have a set of 40mm round bases that are covered in micro-scarab looking guys, which are personally my favorite pick for alternate scarab bases (With the normal scarabs floating/along side them). |
