Hey there, get ready for some cheddar! 1850 points list. (spot on) HQ: Destroyer lord with weave Destroyer lord with weave Troops 5 necron warriors 5 necron warriors 5 necron warriors in scythe 5 necron warriors in scythe Fast attack: 6 wraiths 2 coils (Destroyer lord in here) 6 wraiths 2 coils (Destroyer lord in here) 4 wraiths 2 coils 4 wraiths 2 coils 4 wraiths 1 coil Heavy support: Anhilation Barge Anhilation Barge So there you have it. A list I would not dare to pick against a good friend. 2 flyers, 2 AB, 24 (!!!) wraiths. The best part: the list is totally battleforged. Flyers and ABs are against other fliers, light vehicles and hordes. Wraiths are basically for the rest.... Would also be possible to drop 1 wraith and drop the fliers, and get Ghost arks instead for better scoring. |

With so many tournament-level deathstars disbanded by the changes in 7th, Wraithwing is expected to do pretty well again. This double-CAD list is mean with a huge number of threats. The only thing I can see this having trouble with (and only to a small extent) is AV14 as everything needs a 6 when penetrating it to do anything to it (auto-glancing gauss and rending on the wraiths). Alternatively, a heavy flyer list but those are super rare these days from what I can tell. So unless you face a Monolith-spam list (lolz?) you have an extremely mean list. |

Yes, hardcore av 14/14/14 spam lists could be a problem, but still...there are not many of em :D. Vehicles with av14 only front dont bother this list, as CC attacks strike the rear armor (well, if its not a chariot or walker...but I dont know chariots or walkers with AV14 :D) But still...accoring to my mathhammer youll need like 13.5 wraith attacks in CC to strip away one HP (not counting pen-effects, not counting better hitting due to preferred enemy). This is quite a lot, but the list has also quite a lot of wraiths...so I think 3-4 AV14/14/14 vehicles could be managable. 10 wraiths on charge would strip away like 3 HP, and the destroyer lord should manage to get the last one... Against flyer-heavy lists I think I would just try to kill everything scoring the opponent has...:D Btw we have GOT to make a monolith-spam list :D |

Well. the warriors are honestly just to fill the troop-gap. Of course, they wont do a lot of damage in the game. However, i'd just keep them in reserve and grap objectives with them. This way, the moment the warriors arrive, the opponent will be to busy trying to stop the wraiths ready to crush his lines...so maybe even see the warriors as a bait: If the opponent goes for em, he takes an eye off the wraiths and that would be really, really bad for him. |
