Hey there, in these testruns I let 5 harbingers of destruction shoot at different armor values. each time in total 10000 runs. Explodes means an explode-result on the damage table. In this case the HP-damage does not matter. The intervals are disjunct. (if for example an explode-result was rolled, then the result of the run will not appear again in the table of how much HP-loss it provoced). This means you may just add or substract numbers and possibilites. I did also include how tankhunters (TH) and twinlinked (TL) affects against AV 10; Spoiler: click to toggle against AV11: Spoiler: click to toggle against AV12: Spoiler: click to toggle against AV13: Spoiler: click to toggle against AV14: Spoiler: click to toggle Analize the results by yourself. One thing to notice is that 5 harbingers with TL and TH will bring a pretty certain death to anything <= AV12. AV13 also is in big danger. Soon I'm gonna check the same thing with 4 Destructecs+cronotek and 4 destructecs+harb of dissonance Edited by OhLongJohnson, Oct 2 2014, 04:14 AM.

I'm curious, the most probable way (without allies or mysterious objectives) I see that destructek would have TL is by having a stalker paint the target with its targeting relay. In this case, there is a chance that 1 or 2 HP as already been removed by the stalker itself, which is big. Really looking forward to see the effect of the harp |

If you referr the szeras: No, I think the cronometrum reroll doesnt work in this case, because you roll for the mechanical augmentation BEFORE game starts. Cronometrum allows you a reroll in any phase (before the game starts is no phase) I will also do the comparasion with the cronometrum, I do expect it to do pretty similar to the 5 eldritch lances (because it is kinda probable that 1 of 4 eldritch lances misses, I would then use the cronometrum to reroll the hit). It is quite an interesting question: Will it be better to eventually reroll missed hits, or will it be better to directly reroll on the damage table? (and ignore missed hits)...the testruns will show us. |
