This my first post of a WIP for my Necron Decurion detachment, the Alcázar Dynasty. I have already taken many photos, but will posting them little by little as to not overwhelm you all with a blast of pictures. I'd like to start my first post with my Flayer conversions. I am converting 14 Warriors form the Battleforce box to Flayers. I am using various unused blade bits from Necron ranged weapons I've saved during my assembling of the army.

This 1 of 14 of my Flayer models:

Lastly, my Overlord conversion. I used a Destroyer's hand to hold a piece of red sea glass as a Resurrection Orb.

Liking the colour scheme. From where do you get your Red rods?

A local hobby shop carries them, but you can also buy them in the website:

There are other colors to choose from, like blue, yello, and orange, I also recall purple I think.

Looking very nice. Love the aged bone look. I don't know if it's me or do they seem grainy? I've seen it happen before but wasn't sure. Anyway, keep up the good work.

My eye.sight is poor, but under they don't look grainy in person. I think it's because I zoomed in close via iPhone

Interestingly enough I have not seen one of those models from the rear before. Looks like it'd be hell to paint fully assembled, but it also looks like you're not subjecting yourself to that torture.

Looks good thus far. The angel on that last shot doesn't let the whites of there eyes show very well (Except that one), but I bet it stands out pretty well from a distance.

Nice, I like the one who is the focus of the first two images. The amount of yellow on the weapon, for the orange/yellow look is best on him I feel like, and I don't think it's just the lighting of the shots. By contrast the two further back and right seem slightly more dull, and the one back right (Can't really see the main part of his blade) but the small part also has the good yellow ratio. I mean it might just be me, but I prefer the "Shiny"er look.

The rest of them looks fairly well, there are no shots from behind, was doing their back parts difficult/turn out well?

With your Praetorians, you must be careful with the rods. They snap very easily. I should know. Four of five currently have that problem and I do not currently have the tools to fix it. More superglue, I guess.

I'm loving your scheme, though. Keep it up!

Love the colors you used, the bone-like colour fits them very well combined with the red. And is it just me, or did you glue the overlords arm upside down? Seems like an unnatural position of the arm.

In the OP he said that he used a Destroyer lord handpiece to hold the oversized orb. That's probably why it looks funny. I'm fairly sure the D-lord kit is resin. Two different kits not made to be compatable probably needed a little work and a funky look to do right.
