I just want to try a list with the Obelisk. I find it as great battlefield control unit. So here we go.

CAD
CCB (Voidreaper, GoF, PS, Phylactery) (Warlord)
CCB (WS, PS, Phylactery)
Immortals x 5 (Gauss)
Immortals x 5 (Gauss)
Tomb Blades x 7 (Gauss, Nebuloscopes, Shieldvanes)
Wraiths x 6 (Whip Coils)
Obelisk
Imperial Bunker (Comms Relay)

Deathbringer Flight
Doom Scythe
Doom Scythe
Doom Scythe

Immortals squad one will hide inside the bunker, controlling objective. Immortals squad two will hide somewhere else, controlling another objective. Barges, Wraiths and Blades will aggressively control the battlefield finding most suitable targets for themselves. Obelisk (by thunderblitz mainly) and Doom Scythes will just rain havoc.
What do you think? What would you tune? GoF was just a filler for one of the CCB - didn't know where to put those 13 points...

I like it! Has a very fierce feeling to it. I like that its quite fast (CCBs, obelisk, wraiths and tomblades), while the immortals can stay inside their bunker (where they belong xD)

I think GoF is quite good on a CCB, so its a good way of spending points.

A thing you could do (just an idea) would be to drop 1 wraith and give the plasma gauntlet to one of the CCBs (I'd say the not warlord one).
Or even better you drop 1 TB and drop the normal gauntlet and get the plasma gauntlet instead.

I think this S7 AP2 oneshot-flamer could be a very nasty surprise, especially if mounted on a CCB. (12'' movement + flamer shot?`woot)

kay, consider it (I dont know how it is myself, but it sounds like a nice anti-deathstar surprise.)

Another thing you could consider would be to drop 1 DS and get the same pointvalue in pretorians instead.
Not that I dont like the DS (its awesome), but pretorians can be crucial at freeing CCBs that got stuck in CC.

Another (Maybe even better option) would be to drop 1 DS and take 2 small units of flayed ones. (2 units of 6) and having them in DS reserve. By turn 2 you would then DS them into enemy rows (comms relay helps) to create even more chaos (additionaly to the chaos the CCBs, the wraiths and the obelisk are gonna produce). I want to emphasize here that flayed ones are our most killy CC-units on a per-point-base. (against most targets...just 5 flayed ones on charge inflict 9.4 AP5 wounds against T4 targets)

I don't have praetorians or flayed ones. But in my micro meta (CSM and Eldar) they are gonna be fire distractors, nothing more. My CSM friend allready killed alot of Flayed ones with hil Heldrake and Obliterators (praetorians won't be harder). My Eldar friend will do it easily with his artillery, reapers and serpents i guess. 5+ rp is not that great (comparing to 4+).

well, it always depends on the battlefield situation and the targets you are offering. When there are gonna be 2 CCBs, an obelisk and a unit of wraiths inside the opponents rows, the flayed ones are unlikely to be prime targets.

Also, think about how cheap flayed ones are. So if the opponent kills several of them with helldrake or similar its totally ok, I mean, in the end 5 flayed ones are 65 points (and thats less than 5 spacemarines...a helldrake would have an even easier time killing 5 spacemarines)

But yeah, if you have none there is still no problem. 3 DS are gonna do a lot of havoc
