.. Eventually.

At any rate, I need to keep moving on this 1k pts army I'm starting, so in light of that, I've been putting in some work. Nothing terribly exciting quite yet, I constructed the first of three units of destroyers.

I really need to get back to a better hosting cite than dropbox, my phone's pictures apparently are taken in the most absurd resolutions, so even with the spoilers it's just dumb to put the "normal" sized images.. sticking with links for now.

A shot of all three together.

First one Solo

Second one alone

Last one alone

I guess it doesn't really matter to link 4 times, because once you get linked you can just flip through yourself. Bah, what ever. Anyways, there was a slight bit of conversion for these guys. I like the one that is going full speed ahead very well, and he has the least conversion. They all received Secret Weapon bases to go with my Desert theme, and clear thin rod I bought to use as flying stands so I could put them in which ever way I wanted.

The "Full speed" one has nothing different really. The one moving sideways has a Deathmark head, because I figured I'd get bored of all destroyer normal heads. And the other one, I had to do quite a lot of fidgeting with his clawed left arm to get it into a pose that was actually holding the gun up at the barrel. They are also all pinned on most of their joints, and primarily not glued together for final production yet because I don't want to have to paint around such clustered body parts. Although the chaise for them all is completely assembled, and there is a bit of cramped spaces just in that spinal column part.. But c'est la vie. I also want to go back and get a little bit of green stuff on them to smooth over gaps or small seams.

Onward to unit two construction.

You glued in the rods before you painted them?

Naw, almost nothing on those guys is glued. Each arm and the rods are all unattached. Only the torso and head are glued on, since there isn't anything to be done about painting around those parts.

And the point of the rods was clearly to have that "invisible" stand, so yeah that isn't going to get sprayed. I think I need to go buy a new spray white though. I have a P3 white primer, but I don't know if I like it, I haven't really used P3 stuff that much, so I'm not sold on it.
