Hey, I just come up with an idea to use spare bodies from ghost ark (i didn't used them to magnetize ghost ark for easy swith to doomark). In battleforce box i have spare bases so it should be easy First step was to remove part under feet and glue corpse together. We have head, body, and legs (with missing one part of the leg and arm in some poses). Flayed ones are "damaged" necrons so i like this design. Anyway, model staing on one leg looks bad, so i used "spine" looking part that is used to hold them on ark by back. Cut small part of it and it looks nice as leg prothesis. I will give them some skin using greenstuff. But i have one main missing part - their claws. Any idea how to make them? I have a lot spare bits, but nothing close to it... but maybe you have some ideas ;) I will show pic after finish Edited by Forfiter, Dec 20 2015, 02:57 PM.

I've been thinking of using Genestealer bits ever since I saw some people selling them at the local Merc Market. I think I know someone who has some extra bits, and I just need to ask him. A good mix of Rending Claws and Scything Talons would be good on that front. |

I have actually tried this already, been meaning to post some pics. I cut the legs off the pelvis so that they could be re-posed and have two legs each. For the skin, I used the grey plastic wrapping a parcel came in - stretched out a bit and painted, it has quite a nice leathery texture (and it was free, unlike green stuff!) Claws were actually easier than I thought - I used plasticard (old membership cards, actually!) and then just glued them onto some of the spare arms from various kits. I also used the spider's fabricator claws, the wraith's blades, and one warscythe blade to add some variety! I'll try to get some pictures up tomorrow, but I think they worked rather well! |

Great pics! Good idea with spyders claws. However i have only 2 of them and glued most of them... Still looking for something home-made or using spare bits, probably after holidays :) |
