As it says, I am in need of green stuff. I have decided to bite the bullet (after a couple of years) and buy some. Does anyone have tips for a place I can get cheaply in the U.S.? The GW price is insane!

Give Neal a call at The War Store. They have reasonably priced tubes of the stuff. About $0.5 more expensive than Amazon, but you would be supporting someone in the hobby business.

Funny thing is, the Warstore sells through amazon at that price (the 50 cents cheaper one), so I can support the hobby store, get a good price, and not give all of it to GeeDubs! (the people-that is, the managers and whatnot-are awesome, but prices and execs are a little too high.)

So now that ive got the stuff (32-something strip for nine bucks from Warstore thru amazon),how do I use it? I understand that you mix it, but beyond that I'm lost.

I use water for a lubricant but I've heard vaseline works well too. The general idea is to let it sit about 5 minutes after mixing. Then stick it on the model. Silicone and rubber modeling tools work pretty well. You can get a cheap set on amazon for about 5 usd. At that point you mold it into what you want. It works wonders with my converted nurgle marines.
