As it says, I am in need of green stuff. I have decided to bite the bullet (after a couple of years) and buy some. Does anyone have tips for a place I can get cheaply in the U.S.? The GW price is insane! |

Give Neal a call at The War Store. They have reasonably priced tubes of the stuff. About $0.5 more expensive than Amazon, but you would be supporting someone in the hobby business. |

Funny thing is, the Warstore sells through amazon at that price (the 50 cents cheaper one), so I can support the hobby store, get a good price, and not give all of it to GeeDubs! (the people-that is, the managers and whatnot-are awesome, but prices and execs are a little too high.) |

So now that ive got the stuff (32-something strip for nine bucks from Warstore thru amazon),how do I use it? I understand that you mix it, but beyond that I'm lost. |

I use water for a lubricant but I've heard vaseline works well too. The general idea is to let it sit about 5 minutes after mixing. Then stick it on the model. Silicone and rubber modeling tools work pretty well. You can get a cheap set on amazon for about 5 usd. At that point you mold it into what you want. It works wonders with my converted nurgle marines. |
