Hi, I modeled an alternative wraith model using custom parts and bits from other modelers, here's the result. The paint job is incomplete but it gives an idea of what it will end up looking like. The model is on a popular 3D model website I won't name, but it's very popular :) There is a lot of room for improvement on the modeling side (ex.: stronger links between segments, smaller head, heavier base, etc.) but I love the look. So far I've printed 5 of this version, and another from a previous version (which wasn't nice enough to be painted). What do you think? |

I like the way they look, with the thicker "tail" they look more stable than GW wraiths. Cant tell from the pic but they "may be" a little shorter than the GW wraiths so might be a little easier to hide behind terrain and then just phase through for the charge. very nice |

Thanks. Yeah I didn't have a real model to compare, so it's approximate. Can you tell me how high a normal wraith is? |

At work now so will have to measure when I get home. There are 3 sculpts that come on the sprue, the tallest one has to be about 4" or so...I'll let you know |

Mine are just over 3", so they might be a bit too small. But that's good news, the bigger they are, the better they come out! |

FYI, I've been told that the originals range from 70mm to 90mm high, so I'm good at ~80mm. |
