Since BraveSirRobin doesn't have access to my previous factbook, I thought I'd copy it here for him to see.
The Aesir Empire AKA: Aesir

► Political Structure ► Government Positions Jarl The Jarl is the head of state and the supreme commander of all the Aesir military. The Jarl's main focus is to approve or veto laws passed by the Chieftains and to protect the empire from foreign aggressors ad well as lead the military during wartime. The Jarl may not declare war and may not take aggressive action against another nation unless the Chieftains declare war or damage is directly inflicted upon the Aesir Empire.
Chieftain There are nine Chieftains, one for each of the nine sectors. These Chieftains represent their respective sectors in an althing to write and pass laws. These laws are then sent to the Jarl to be signed or vetoed. Chieftains set the government budget and are the only ones who can declare war.
Kommander Kommanders are given complete control over their respective branches of the Aesir military. There are three Kommanders, one for the Army, one for the Navy, and one for the Guard. The Kommanders only take orders from the Jarl.
► Government Buildings Great Hall The Great Hall is where the Jarl resides and performs his/her duties. This is also a meeting place for Chieftains when the time comes to vote on legislation and to decide the budget, and the hall turns into a fortress during times of war. This building is equipped with a long range communication array in order for the Jarl to communicate with the Chieftains and Kommanders.
Clan Halls The Clan Halls each house their own Chieftain. They are equipped with long range communications abilities in order for the Chieftains to communicate with each other outside of the Great Hall.
► Culture These people are very protective of their families. Everyone is trained to fight in public schools along with learning in the core classes; Norse, history, math, and science. Citizens have on average 20 weapons each ranging from swords and spears to bows, rifles, and lasguns. Every citizen at or above the age of 20, if not in the military, are assigned to a militia squad. The militias meet every week for training exercises to keep the men and women fit and well trained in case of attack. The people are prolife and support the preservation of nature. All of the power generated is from clean sources of energy, such as nuclear energy, solar panels, and windfarms off the coasts in the ocean. Even the vehicles run off of clean energy. There are many stunning national parks on the home world. Some families hunt for food using ancient rifles or bows. Others have their own garden. One colony is devoted entirely to food production through farming. Computers are an important part of the Aesir economy. There is information technology, scanning equipment, starship computer systems, videogame systems, and even personal computers linked together on the internet. Factories rely on computer controlled robots to work the assembly lines. Starship computers use and maintain most of the systems.
► Technology ► Communications Hyperspace Communications System The HCS sends and receives com signals through warp space. The frequency used is lower than that of standard frequencies so as to allow greater range.
Radio Though this system is outdated, it still serves as a great means of communication between ships in a single formation or on battlefields.
► Armor Systems ► Personal Armor Systems Ulfsark Armor These armored exoskeletons are composed of plasteel and are worn by most soldiers. They increase the strength and stamina of the people wearing them by 300%, but are not closed systems and do not provide life support. There are two loops, one one left and right, to hold throwing hatchets (slightly bigger version of the tomahawk). The helmets are separate from the exoskeleton and have a HUD on the eye lenses showing where friendly and enemy targets are in the direction the user is looking in. The helmets are designed to look like Norse helmets that come down over the face with two holes for seeing.
Huskarl Armor The power armor is an enclosed system that provides everything ulfsark armor does with life support and a sheath for an ulfberht sword. They are composed of adamantium like in Warhammer 40k, but are less bulky and more streamlined than that of the Warhammer 40k power armor. Strength and endurance is increased 20x instead of 50x like the WH40K power armor. They come in two models, one for men and the other for women. The helmets are decorated with wings to better distinguish from ulfsark helmets. Only officers, elite army units, and marines wear these.
► Vehicle Armor All vehicles have ablative plasteel armor.
► Ship Armor Shields are not used/installed on ships. All ships have ablative adamantium armor. The thickness depends on the class.
► Propulsion Systems Thrusters Thrusters are used in spacecraft to perform maneuvers in the vacuum of space and to fly in atmospheres.
Impulse Engines These are used in spacecraft to fly through space at sub light speeds. They require being coupled with thrusters for maneuvering.
Hyperdrive Engines These engines allow ships to perform hyperspace jumps to travel great distances. They take about an hour to charge between jumps.
► Weapons On top of the autogun, autocannon, lasgun, and lascannon, there are:
Railrifle The railrifle is a rifle that fires solid metal projectiles down a rail of magnets at hypersonic speed. The accuracy is slightly less than a lasgun, but the range and power far exceed that of a lasgun's. The weapon requires carrying ammunition similar to that of an autocannon and a power source. The ammunition magazines hold 5 rounds. These weapons are carried by marines and soldiers wearing huskarl armor.
Laser Rifle The sniper rifle version of the lasgun, it packs a bigger punch but is bigger and heavier. Used by normal snipers.
Plasma Grenade These grenades are newer versions of incendiary grenades. The chemical inside is ignited and burns so hot, the chemical turns to plasma which then breaks out and surges outward into the surrounding area. These weapons are magnetic and have a blast radius of two meters.
Plasma Bomb The plasma bomb is a "smart bomb" that seeks out its target. Its explosive is similar to the plasma grenade, but on a much more powerful scale. They come in varying sizes and yields.
Autorail This version of the railrifle is used in most attack craft and on starships as point-defense weapons. The point-defense turrets have two twin-linked autorails each. They fire solid metal projectiles at a rapid pace and are belt-fed. The rate of fire isn't as high as the autocannon, but the power and accuracy are far greater. On starships, these weapons are completely controlled by the ship's computer.
Railgun These powerful cannons are mounted on Fenrir wolf tanks and trebuchet artillery vehicles. They fire normal and explosive rounds over great distances with high accuracy and power.
Railgun Battery These batteries are large versions of the railgun placed in the sides of starships. They fire large metal projectiles at hypersonic speeds at other ships and space stations. These potent weapons require two minutes to charge and load, and are installed in all ships except heavy cruisers and heavy battleships.
Laser Cannon These batteries are used only on the tops of starships and the tops and bottoms of space stations. Each turret is twin-linked, and the turret size and strength depends on the size of the ship, bigger ships having larger cannons installed. They fire highly concentrated beams at enemy targets to burn right through them. The rate of fire is between 10 and 3 shots a minute depending on the size and power, larger batteries firing slower. These are most effective in destroying key areas on enemy ships.
Aesir Lancer (Thor Gun) The lancer fires a highly concentrated beam of plasma at enemy starships and space stations. These beams have the power to blast right through a large escort, assuming the escort doesn't have shielding. These take seven minutes to charge.
Magnetic Accelerator Cannon (MAC Gun) These cannons are used only in heavy cruisers and heavy battleships. They fire massive solid metal projectiles at enemy ships designed to penetrate enemy shielding and armor, leaving gaping holes wherever they hit. They require ten minutes to charge.
Archer Missile These missiles are designed to target and destroy enemy attack craft. Their tracking abilities and maneuverability makes them hard to shake. They target any attack craft that does not have an Aesir transponder.
Lancer Torpedo These torpedoes are designed to penetrate the heavy armor on enemy capital ships with a directional explosive instead of a general warhead, causing them to vent atmosphere and personnel.
Double Spear Torpedo These torpedoes are actually two smaller torpedoes put together to look like one torpedo. If the front half or the back get hit, then they separate and the undamaged one continues on its course. It is smaller and harder to hit when separated, but carries less power.
Tactical Nuclear Torpedo These missiles carry small nuclear warheads. Every military ship carries a small amount of these. They are used as a "last stand" weapon in case everything goes very badly. They can also be used as a means to escape without being followed.

► Vehicles ► Transport Boar These armored vehicles carry up to six soldiers and the driver. There is a mounted autocannon on top manned by one of the soldiers as a defensive weapon. The boar can cross most types of dry terrain with ease on six wheels.
Reindeer These are armored half-tracks that transport troops over wet, muddy, or icy terrain with ease. Like the Boar, there is an autocannon mounted on top for defensive purposes.
► Assault Fenrir Wolf Tank These tanks have five inches of ablative armor and a powerful railgun turret. They carry both solid rounds and explosive rounds. The frontal armor is angled to deflect enemy fire. The max speed is clocked at 36 km/h. Their slow speed is often made up for by strength. They like to hunt in packs.
Trebuchet Mobile Artillery These artillery pieces fire explosive rounds only. The explosive inside the shell weakens the effect of the magnetic pull on the shell causing it to be fired at subsonic speed which means the order can be given to lay down support fire on a nearby battlefield without losing the ability to bombard enemy bases from a far distance.
Berserker Mobile Missile Platform This missile platform fires Archer missiles at enemy attack craft. These are the Aesir antiaircraft weapons.
► Spacecraft ► Attack Craft Nidhogg Interceptor The nidhogg fighter is small, fast, and highly maneuverable, but lack strong armor. This interceptor is armed with an automatic lascannon in the nose as well as twin-linked autorails, but it lacks any missiles. They are easily mass produced and are used both in atmosphere and in space. They are carried by large frigates, cruisers, heavy cruisers, battleships, longboats, and space stations.
Fafnir Air Superiority Fighter These air superiority fighters are bigger and a tad slower, but can be used in atmospheres and the vacuum of space. They are equipped with two wing mounted autorails and an automatic lascannon in the nose as well as 8 archer missiles. Only battleships, longboats, and space stations carry these fighters.
Jotun Bomber These bombers are big, heavily armored, and slow with hardly any maneuverability, but it can carry a massive payload of plasma bombs to be dropped in atmosphere or launched in space. There are autorail turrets in the nose and tail, on the left and right sides of the fuselage, and on top and bottom, and an automatic lascannon in the nose controlled by the pilot. Even though they are armed to the teeth with autorails, they carry no atmosphere, requiring the crew to wear huskarl armor, and they often require a fighter escort.
Valkyrie Dropship These lightly armored dropships can perform a vertical takeoff and transport twelve soldiers, the pilot, and the copilot down to a planet surface and back up, from one location to another on a planet, or between ships. They come armed with two wing mounted autorails, and are also used to carry wounded soldiers out of combat zones. When not transporting troops, these can carry up to 15 tons of cargo or vehicles. All ships and space stations carry these.
Einherjar Assault Craft These heavily armored craft carry no armaments, but instead ram into the enemy vessel to penetrate the hull. They carry fifteen soldiers and the pilot, and are carried by cruisers, heavy cruisers, battleships, and longboats.
All large spacecraft have emergency bulkheads that lock into place immediately when there is a hull breach. There is no artificial gravity. Marines and crew walk around with magnetic boots. Cargo is held in magnetic crates with internal shielding to protect anything inside from the magnetic effects. Zero gravity makes reloading railgun batteries and magnetic accelerator cannons easy. ► Destroyers This class of warship is the smallest and most maneuverable of the six currently in use by the Aesir Navy. They have 3 meter armor, but pack a punch with a laser cannon on top, six forward torpedo tubes, four aft torpedo tubes, railgun batteries along the port and starboard hulls, an autorail point-defense system, and archer missiles in the bottom and top. These ships were designed to act as escorts and defend the cruisers and battleships from smaller, more maneuverable vessels. The length of these ships is approximately 2.6 km.
► Frigates Frigates are used as mercantile vessels because they can carry a large shipment while still being able to defend themselves against raiders and pirates. In times of need, these ships are called upon to serve as warships. The armor is weaker than that of the cruisers and battleships but can still take a hit from a standard torpedo at 4.5 meters thick. There is a hangar for dropships in the underside. These ships are armed with two terraced laser cannon turrets on top, four forward torpedo tubes, two aft torpedo tubes, archer missile pods in the underside, an autorail point-defense system, and railgun batteries along the port and starboard hulls. The length of these vessels is approximately 4 km. ► Large Frigates This class of frigates are the newest addition to the Aesir fleet. They carry more cargo as well as two squadrons of nidhogg fighters and have 5 meters of armor. The length of these vessels is 4.2 km.
► Cruisers Cruisers are the main attack ships in the fleet. Their armor is 5.5 meters thick. They have a hangar in the underside that carry nidhogg fighters, dropships, and assault craft. The weaponry consists of archer missile pods, three terraced laser cannon turrets on top, an Aesir lancer in front, six forward torpedo tubes, four aft torpedo tubes, an autorail point-defense system, and railgun batteries along the port and starboard hulls. The length of these vessels is approximately 5 km. ► Heavy Cruisers Heavy cruisers are larger with 6 meters of armor and are armed with a magnetic accelerator cannon running down the length of the ship, firing wherever the ship is pointed, but don't have railgun batteries. The length of these vessels is approximately 5.2 km.
► Battleships Battleships are the big sticks of the Aesir Navy. Only four exist; the AS Mjolnir, AS Gungnir, AS Gjallar, and AS Draupnir. Their 6.5 meter armor can withstand multiple torpedo hits in the same spot. There are two hangar bays, one on the port side and the other starboard, that carry all the different attack craft. They are armed with four terraced laser cannon turrets on top, eight forward torpedo tubes, six aft torpedo tubes, archer missile pods all along the underside, an autorail point-defense system, railgun batteries lining the port and starboard, and an Aesir lancer in front. These ships are approximately 6 km long. ► Longboats The longboat is a larger and more heavily armed version of the battleship and armored with 7 meters of armor. Only one of these exists, the AS Midgard Serpent, and is the flagship of the whole fleet. There is the addition of the magnetic accelerator cannon and an upgrade to the laser cannon power output, but there are no railgun batteries. This ship is approximately 6.5 km in length.
► Space Stations Aesir space stations are big fortresses that orbit planets and, at some later date, moons. Their shape is of three rings, an inner ring where the command center is, an outer ring where all of the weapons platforms are, and a middle ring where the hospitals, cargo holds, and hangar bays are, all of them connected by a series of corridors. They are used as military hospitals and refueling stations. Fallen soldiers are brought back to a space station to hold an honor ritual that ends with the dead bodies launched into space in a metal coffin through one of the torpedo tubes. There are five different stations spread around the empire, the first being Valhalla which is in geosynchronous orbit around the Aesir home world over the capitol city. Each space station is equipped with four laser cannon turrets, eight torpedo tubes, 12 special railgun battery turrets that operate like laser cannons, and an autorail point-defense system, and they carry nidhoggs, fafnirs, and valkyries. They are 1 km high and have a radius of 5 km.
► Military ► Army The Army deals with all things on planet and lunar surfaces. This includes longboats. They are lowered to planet or lunar surfaces via valkyries then set up bases. Afterwards the terrestrial vehicles are lowered to the surface. In the case where an enemy controlled planet or moon is being attacked, no base is set up. The attack commences right when the dropships unload. When the need arises, they will call in airstrikes for the Navy to assist. Army Theme: Legion - Epic North► Navy The Navy consists of all starships, attack craft, space stations, and aquatic ships. They transport Army personnel and vehicles, patrol Aesir space, provide air support for the Army, heal wounded soldiers, and engage enemy vessels. The Navy is the most important, and costly, military branch. ► Aesir Fleet This section of the Navy consists of all ships and space stations. It is the traditional Navy. Fleet Theme: Interceptor - Epic North► Drekiverr This section contains all marines. They are stationed on Fleet ships as security against boarding parties and make up boarding parties themselves. Drekiverr Theme: Onslaught - Epic North► Dreki Riddare This section contains all pilots: Nidhogg pilots, fafnir pilots, jotun pilots, valkyrie pilots, and einherjar pilots. They provide air support for armies on the ground and fleet ships, and transport for armies and marines. Dreki Riddare Theme: Gunmetal - Epic North► Aesir Guard The Aesir Guard is made up of the forces defending the Aesir provinces. These forces are made up of military bases on the Aesir planets, space stations, and the frigate and large frigate fleet. Only the planetary forces defending Asgard are equipped with power armor and fafnirs. Guard Theme: Save This World - Epic North
► Important Figures Aragonn Aragonn is the Jarl, the leader of the empire. He determines the course of action to be taken when issues regarding the entirety of the empire arise. His two primary agendas are the military and preserving the environments on Aesir planets. He knows well not to go looking for a war, but to always be prepared for one. He wears a suit of huskarl armor colored sapphire rather than the standard gray.
► National Income
► Adventurers Kommander Baldor Siegfried Supreme commander of the Aesir Army, he takes orders only from one person, Jarl Aragonn. He works in collaboration with Kommander Vanir Gunnar to coordinate assaults on enemy positions. He wears a custom made version of huskarl armor that is bigger and allows him to wield an automatic railrifle. He fights alongside his troops in battles.
Kommander Vanir Gunnar Supreme commander of the Aesir Navy, he leads his sailors into battle on his heavy battleship, the AS Midgard Serpent. He is also responsible for transporting Aesir Army troops, personnel, and vehicles from one planet to the next. His huskarl armor is colored black rather than the standard green.
Kommander Astrid Brunhilde Stationed on the orbital station Valhalla above Asgard, the Aesir homeworld, this woman commands all of the Aesir Guard. She has been well trained in planetary defense strategies, but hasn't seen any action, so her abilities have yet to be tested. Her huskarl armor is colored silver rather than the standard green, and she wields an adamantium double spear rather than an ulfberht.
Heimdall This man, code-named Heimdall, is the head of the Aesir Office of Naval Intelligence. He sees everything without anybody suspecting a thing.
► Merchants Freyja This woman who goes by the name of Freyja owns most of the corporations. She deals with anything from food to weapons to domestic transportation.
