Whose excited for the return of Dallas coming back on TNT! I AM. I have to say I am loving the remake to the original show but so saddened still of Larry Hagman's passing. RIP! I do love John Ross and Rebecca together. We left off awhile ago and John Ross was sleeping with that heffer Emma. Do you think Rebecca already knows or is going to find out? Hell hath no fury like a woman scorn. I think Rebecca will run John Ross over and back the pick-up truck on him again. He really does love her and she loves him. Do you think they have what it takes to make it though? I have to say I really don't give a shit about Elena and Christopher. Do you like them together? They are like saccharin sweet and SO BORING. They get a big ole yawn from me. I think that they will eventually divorce. Please Night-time Soap Jesus. End them. Cliff Barnes might be looking for some payback because he got sent to jail for someone else's crimes... On this one I say to be continued! Spoiler: click to toggle What about Ryland Harris? Who thinks Emma is pregnant with someone's child? ME! Edited by EjamiShipper, May 21 2014, 05:17 PM.

SOURCE: http://www.tvfanatic.com/2013/12/dallas-spoilers-josh-henderson-teases-intense-season-3-the-futur/ Dallas Spoilers: Josh Henderson Teases "Intense" Season 3, The Future for John Ross by Jim Halterman at December 20, 2013 9:45 am. Updated at December 20, 2013 8:42 am. History is repeating itself on Dallas. When the TNT hit drama series returns for Season 3 in February, watch for the legacy of JR Ewing to continue to weave its way through the stories and characters of the rebooted soap. But it literally lives on in the character of his son, John Ross. As played by Josh Henderson, John Ross may have had his share of Daddy issues (with a father like JR, wouldn’t you?) yet he also has not only possesses determination, but maybe a bit of greed in the mix when he goes after what he wants…even when that includes the ladies. Spoiler: click to toggle Below, Henderson gives us a preview of what’s to come when the new season kicks off and, considering the season we’re in, we had to start off by talking about the holidays... - See more at: http://www.tvfanatic.com/2013/12/dallas-spoilers-josh-henderson-teases-intense-season-3-the-futur/#sthash.epUl2x0X.dpuf TV Fanatic: When we left off in season two, John Ross married to Pamela but is sleeping with Emma. Best of both worlds? Josh Henderson: Oh, John Ross. Why I love playing that character so much and the writing on Dallas in general for me, it’s just the audience will never ever know what I’m going to do next and I keep them guessing. The writers keep me guessing. Yeah, season two left off with John Ross being obsessed with who killed his father and then figuring it out through the help of Bobby and Bum. Obviously, he wasn’t happy with any of it, but he understood so now he’s on this war path of, ‘now what? How do I continue to stay a couple steps ahead of everybody?’ So he marries Pamela, he realized that he can get some info out of Emma [and] all that stuff, it’s going to play out through season three. Some big, big stuff that he ends up kind of doing with her and obviously it becomes a sticky situation because she kind of falls for John Ross and John Ross is married. That never really stopped JR so, you know, history is kind of repeating itself a little bit. TVF: Is he going to be vulnerable at all with any of these women or does he have his heart too guarded for that? JH: Right now, he is kind of obsessed with this back and forth of ‘I’m not my father,’ but he kind of really is, and he’s very much seeing a lot of JR in him and so is everybody else. So, it’s kind of a constant struggle and battle with him. When it comes to the women, he does truly love Pamela. He doesn’t want to hurt her. He knows that what he’s doing is he’s just walking a dangerous line. I think the audience knows -- we all know and so does he -- that Pamela being Cliff’s daughter, she’s probably capable of doing some crazy stuff as well. He doesn’t want to open that can of worms so he’s really trying to tiptoe around what he’s doing. Sue Ellen, obviously, that’s a whole other thing that’s going to be a big storyline with John Ross is his relationship with his mother. She finds out some things that he’s doing and she starts to see JR in him as well, a little too much, and it really worries her. At the time right now, with these other women, it’s all for business. It’s just using them as chess pieces for his game you’re really going to have issues with those two worlds colliding. TVF: I’m always a little concerned Sue Ellen’s going to get a little too close to those liquor bottles. I hear that she might get too close this season. Is that something you can talk about at this point? JH: Obviously when JR passed she had a few drinks and she was drunk at the funeral, and that’s something that’s a deep concern and a pain in John Ross since he was a kid. He hates seeing his mother drinking. He knows it’s not good, it’s not a good situation, but the things he does and his actions this year, you know, it definitely is going to have his mother on the fence of how does she deal with what she knows John Ross is doing. She’s going to have some dark times, dark moments. We have a scene in the middle of the season that gets pretty intense. So, I think fans are going to love the Sue Ellen story line this year but definitely her and John Ross’ relationship, it’s an intense deal this year. It comes to kind of an explosion. TVF: John Ross and Christopher are always on again off again as far as just being on the same page with family and business. Are we going to get more of that this year? JH: Christopher is very much on Bobby’s side when it comes to their beliefs, what they believe he should do when it comes to drilling on Southfork, he believes the same as Bobby does. It’s basically the opposite of what John Ross wants and believes that the Ewings should be doing. So, they will work together, we’re all at Ewing Global now, but at the end of the day, Christopher never trusts John Ross no matter what I’m doing. We’re not getting any friendlier necessarily this year. The cool thing about Dallas and what the fans love is that there is always so much family turmoil and we’re always at each other’s throats but as soon as an outside source comes in and threatens us we kind of band together. So, it’s kind of a circular deal and you’re going to get a lot of issues that are going to go back and forth, but at the end of the day John Ross and Christopher, they’re butting heads. TVF: Since it’s that time of year, are you a big holiday person that just kind of gets into Christmas or is it just more of a time to relax for you? JH: I’m very much into Christmas but usually every year in LA I have a big party that people are very, very upset that I’m not doing this year because I don’t have a place actually in LA this year, but I always do an ugly sweater party. I think one year we had a thousand people at my house and I probably knew about 100 of them. So, it was a big party. I go all out. I actually get real snow brought in, fill the yard with snow. I have a couple different Santa Clauses come by…it’s actually kind of nice here in Texas because we got some snow on the ground so it really kind of put me in the holiday spirit. I have to be totally honest. I was disappointed in Dallas last night. Elena as the "new villian" really? I just can't buy it or really rationalize it. She doesn't fit the role and for me was totally unbelievable as a villian. (Even when she was trying to hide the fact she was undercover for Cliff Barnes. Seeking her revenge for not being forgiven by Christopher, being cut of of Ewing Global, seeking revenge for her father. Yawn.) I would have preferred the building up the story of Cliff secretly plotting his revenge (minus Elena) until he gets released, which from last night's episode sounds like shortly. Loved seeing John Ross, Rebecca, Bobby, Sue Ellen, even Cliff but I was overall disappointed with the episode. It fell felt of the hype and the build-up of waiting so long for the return. High points: *Loved how they used the "Classic Character introduction" in the beginning of the episode - it was exactly how the original "Dallas" did it! * Bum giving John Ross J.R.'s Belt Buckle. :tears: *John Ross proposing to Pamela giving her that huge ring, under the stars by the barn! LOVED IT!! (Why do I feel this will be short lived? They are the new "J.R. and Sue Ellen" yet he had to go and sleep with that drug addled heffer Emma? WHY John Ross WHY? *The John Ross and Pamela chemistry is so amazing. Love them together! Low Points: *Not enough of the lovely Pamela Rebecca, hopefully she will be in full force when she finds out about John Ross and Emma. *Good girl or bad girl, Emma is really annoying, honestly she needs to go soon. *Christopher will be getting a new love interest (we saw her last night), who thinks that he and Pamela will hook up one more time when she finds out about John Ross and Emma. Rebecca will probably get pregnant again and not know who the baby daddy is this time. (Honestly, I love John Ross and Rebecca so I don't want a Christopher/Rebecca baby redux. But John Ross should have never cheated. I could really see this happening.)*Way too much Elena in this 1st episode and not enough Pamela Ewing! *Emma and John Ross don't a have quarter of the chemistry that John Ross and Rebeca have! (BAD IDEA for a fling.)*When Bobby was at the graves at the beginning of the episode, he said he was the only one left, what about his brother Gary? (Bad plot point writing! Or just plain Lazy.) *Why would Elena suddenly hate on all the Ewings? It was JR who did the deal that stole her father's land. Not John Ross, Christopher, Sue Ellen, Bobby, Ann, who all have been nothing but nice to her. (She wanted to marry Christopher so she knew what she was getting herself into. pfft.) The vendetta is just totally unbelievable and out of left field with no cause or believability. Elena, please! Now all of a sudden we are supposedly to believe she is "friends with the devil" Cliff Barnes, ready to take everything from the Ewings? NOPE I am not buying it.

Oh the introduction of Joaquin was anti-climatic. He went undercover to "Ewings Global" and Elena created a "wiki-page" to make him appear as a billionaire by creating his own pharmaceutical company? Then flipping it to Barnes International for a massive profit? When did Elena become so devious and underhanded, plus this guy is going to help her take down the Ewings because they are "family". Yawn. They are a couple?

When we all damn well know he lives on some ranch in Mexico protected by armed guards? What exactly does Joaquin do for a living? Tell us the TRUTH. I think he lives on the shady side of life. (Even if he is a billionaire by another means )

'Dallas' Showrunner Cynthia Cidre on Season 3: John Ross and Sue Ellen Clash Over His Wandering Ways By Kimberly Potts February 24, 2014 1:03 PM Yahoo TV As "Dallas" kicks off its 3rd season, the first full season after the loss of TV legend Larry Hagman as iconic J.R. Ewing, fans of the original series and the TNT update can rest assured: J.R. is gone, but he'll never be forgotten. And that's not only because his many misdeeds and machinations continue to come back to haunt his family, but also because John Ross Ewing (Josh Henderson), J.R.'s all-grown-up son, is determined to outdo his daddy in every way, from his business plans — which continue to lead him to butt heads with his Uncle Bobby (Patrick Duffy) and cousin Christopher (Jesse Metcalfe) — to his very active love life, which gets busier, despite the fact that he truly loves his new wife, Pamela (Julie Gonzalo). "Dallas" showrunner Cynthia Cidre talked to Yahoo TV about the new season, including a preview of where John Ross's cheating ways will lead him, namely to a crushing showdown with mama Sue Ellen (Linda Gray). This is the first full season without J.R., after the death of Larry Hagman. Did that change the feeling on set, or how you approached the storytelling for this season? We talk about him all the time, and it's not unlike when Jim Davis, who played Jock in the original series, died very early on in the show, and yet he was a presence for the entire 13 years the show was on, because they, Bobby and J.R., needed to please their daddy, because he was such an enormous figure. So this is exactly like that. Really, from the very beginning, from that first episode, when John Ross puts on the belt buckle and the watch, and his father's hat, you feel like he's putting on the crown of his father. He's trying to fill his shoes, and, in many ways, that's his season theme, because, is he his father? Is he as bad as his father? Is he better than his father? Is he trying to be worse than his father just so he feels like his father would be proud of him? I always feel like Larry's with us, and that's just from my emotional writer's point of view, because we really do mention J.R. constantly, but also just emotionally. He's still No. 1 on our call sheet … we literally have not taken him off, so I just feel like he's around, and, [viewers] will let me know how much [they] miss him, but I think the show is working quite well, because we're still following J.R., the ambition, and the overreaching. The themes of the show are the same. And J.R. is the gift that keeps on giving. He double crossed so many people, and cheated so many people, that there's no end of the vengeance seekers who could come out of the woodwork. As we're seeing with Elena. Yes, we say things like that all the time, and exactly, as with Elena. We know John Ross, in most ways, is following in J.R.'s footsteps, but it was still a shock at the end of Season 2 when he ended up in bed with Emma, cheating on his wife. Was there any concern about making him that much like J.R.? [Laughing] Maybe I'm morally ambiguous myself, but I felt like it was delicious. Something that John Ross would do if only, not for himself, but to emulate his father, because, on some level, he doesn't really know who he is yet, and that would've been something his father would have done. And, as he says to his mother later on, it's a business move really, because he really does love his wife. Of course, Sue Ellen just can't live with that, because it brings back horrible memories. She's traumatized by what J.R. did to her, and now she's watching her son becoming his father, and she very much identifies with Pamela as the victimized wife. That becomes a big theme, a big arc, for the first two episodes for us, so you'll see where it goes. Is Sue Ellen upset more because it brings up her own painful memories, or because she's disappointed she's raised a man who would do to someone what J.R. did to her all those years? It's all of the above, and it's really tragic, and lovely, in many ways, and it climaxes in the sixth episode of the season ["Like Father, Like Son"]. Sue Ellen thinks she saw John Ross cheat at the end of the first episode, and eventually finds out it is the truth, and she just goes berserk. She's seeing the ghost of J.R. in her son, and not only does she not want him to go down that path, she identifies with Pamela. They have this incredible, climactic scene in [the sixth episode], where they both go, as actors, to this wonderful place where he's crying, like, "I am not J.R.! I am not my father," and she's like, "Yes you are, and you lie to my face," and she's drinking, and it leads him to do a terrible thing. It's much bigger than just being disappointed in him. It pushes a button in her that goes very deep, and many years back, and it's one of my favorite scenes ever on our show. Speaking of delicious, one of the naughtiest parts of the John Ross and Emma fling is the fact that they are hooking up at Southfork, in Emma's bedroom, which is right across the hall from John Ross and Pamela's bedroom. Oh, God. I know. [Laughing] We struggled a little over that, but, believe it or not, it's the geography of the house. It's a very small house, the real house, and we play it as if it's bigger, so the only hallway that we could work her room into was that hallway, so it became really, "Are we really putting her right across the hall?" Everyone said, "Yes. Let's play with that. It'll be fun." It was out of necessity, and then it became, "Let's enjoy it. Let's go all in." It was also a nice nod back to J.R.'s fling with Sue Ellen's sister, Kristin, which happened right under Sue Ellen's nose. Exactly. It started as an architectural problem and then it became, "Oh yeah, this is how J.R. used to play, too. Let's go. Let's go with it." Despite all of John Ross's extracurricular activities, are we going to see a big formal wedding ceremony for him and Pamela at Southfork this season? Yes, and it's gorgeous. They eloped before, so yeah, Mom, Sue Ellen, wants to throw them a real wedding, so, yet again, we have multiple weddings at Southfork. There's even a funny line where Pamela says, "I was a little nervous about getting married here again," at Southfork, and Sue Ellen says, "Believe me, honey. You won't be the only woman having multiple weddings at Southfork." There seems to be a lot more humor, lightness, this season, so far. Some great one-liners, but also Judith, Mama Ryland [Judith Light] ... her scene in the second episode, with the Mexican cartel, is one of the best scenes of the series. I agree. There are three that are my favorites, and that one, Judith just makes me laugh out loud. And then there's another one coming that's also Judith and Emma, in the fifth episode, that is phenomenal, but it's not a laughter thing. It is brutal, where Judith just gives her granddaughter tough love that is devastating to Emma, and then you see at the end of it that she really did it because she loves her granddaughter, that it's not just her being sadistic. Both of them are such good actors, and that's lovely. And then the third one is, of course, the John Ross/Sue Ellen scene I mentioned. But yeah, we have four comedy writers on staff on purpose, because I always thought that this show, that J.R., always has to have wit, so we had a little of it. Sometimes we cut it because we thought it wasn't right, and then we decided, "Comedy works for the show, so let's just leave it." Gonzalo on her sexy "Dallas" scenes: PLEASE CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW TO WATCH THIS. There's a major new cast member this season, Juan Pablo Di Pace as Nicolas Trevino, a Cliff Barnes associate with a surprising tie to Elena. Can we assume there's a big romance in his future, too? Indeed, he will be fitting in romantically with someone, and that'll be Elena, but I don't know if you know how we found [Juan Pablo], which is sort of worthwhile telling. We were trying to cast that part, and we had already begun shooting the first episode. We must have seen 50 actors, and we had some good people, but no one who seemed like a home run or who would fit exactly right. The day where we were going to trigger our best choice among the 50 we had seen, Patrick Rush, who is our casting director, called and said, "Listen, there's a guy from Argentina who's self taped an audition, and I just saw it, and it's not bad. Can I send that over?" I said, "Sure," so we watched it, and we're like, "Huh, he's kind of cute, and he's pretty good." Now, self tape is not the same as a professional audition, but he had done it, so we called Patrick and we said, "Well, don't tell us he's in Argentina. That's not going to do us any good. Is he in L.A.?" He says, "He's in L.A., and he can meet you in an hour." Literally, the guy was in the gym. He comes over. We meet with him. He speaks perfect English, with a little bit of an accent, but basically perfect English, and he's really handsome … we literally took him right to a set where [executive producer] Mike [Robin] directed the audition, he did the scene, and the next morning the three of us were on an airplane going to Dallas, and that afternoon, as we arrived in Dallas, we took him to Neiman Marcus, where Mike and I sat for hours while our wardrobe designer dressed him in different suits, different shoes, different jackets. He'd bring him out, and we'd go thumbs up, thumbs down, and the next morning, he was working. It sounds like the shopping scene in "Pretty Woman." It was exactly that. We were both answering emails, and then he'd come out in a suit, and we'd go, "Wow, that's hot. The Gucci suit looks good on him." The poor guy, all those hours. By the way, he was living in Spain, and he'd been in L.A. just one week before [we cast him]. He's lovely, he's a really good actor, he couldn't be a nicer person, he's handsome, and he has a worldly background. He was born in Argentina. He lived there until he was 12. His family moved to Madrid, where he lived until he was 18. He got a scholarship to go to London for theater, acting, and then he lived in London for 10 years, which is why if you speak to him directly, he actually has a little bit of a British accent. He was kind of meant to play this mysterious character, then? Yes. He's our international man of mystery.
