This is a Vampire spin-off from "The Vampire Diaries" based in New Orleans. There are Vampires called "The Originals" - they are vampires that can never be killed or die. They can only be put to "rest" by these special type daggers. Who Klaus (the protagnist) in this show/story are in possession of. There are 7 central characters: Klaus Michaelson (Original Vampire and is related to Elijah and Rebekah) Klaus is a misunderstood character. He is potentially flawed, complex, layered but deep down as the episodes progressed the writers/tptb showed us he feels, loves and wants and craves unconditional love just like everyone else. All be it, he kills and is at times seems to be a "cold blooded killer" this is the essense of who Klaus is. He loves his family above all else, he seems to be incredibly jealous of what his siblings have as far as potential life partners (love), he forever seeks their approval and is destined to go thru life with them and only them. It would be great to see if this "selfish bond" could be broken. It seems that Elijah is trying to redeem his brother thru the birth of his child by teaching him about "unconditional love". Although, I fear in the process, Elijah has fallen victim to "unconditional love" by falling in love with Hayley, the baby's mother. We are seeing a very complex story written out and at the same time with all the speed bumps, it's leaves us wanting more. The writers and tptb are very talented and skilled at this process. They are building up different layers to Klaus' redemption for his child for himself for his family very delicately. I am looking forward to next week's episode. Elijah Michaelson (Original Vampire) - Elijah is a character that was built on intergrity, honor and drop dead gorgeousness. What can be said. Calgon take me away. He promised, his word that no harm would come to Hayley or her baby and he lived up to it and then some! He took out the head witch Angus, who wanted to kill Hayley and her baby. He snapped the bitches head straight off! "Nobody messes with my family!" were his exact words. Elijah Michaelson, you are my bodyguard! He protected Hayley when she was running in the woods from that crazy, blood thristy, vengeful Tyler (Who was after Klaus technically but went after Hayley? Well The tag team of Elijah/Klaus taught him a lesson that day!) He protected her from so many different situations, the wolves in the bayou, the vampires that wanted to kill her because of Marcel. EJijah is Hayley's man thru and thru. I love the way they are building this couple up. How many almost kisses? Rebekah Michaelson (Original Vampire) - Ah my dear Rebekah who is so misunderstood by her brother Klaus. Or maybe not? He just doesn't want her to be happy because he isn't happy. Rebekah was in love with Marcel who was human before coming a vampire. BUT, he was in love with Rebekah for a lontime before that. They danced around there feeling for many years. That was until Marcel grew up. He then started to want to act on those feelings, Rebekah wanted him too also. Elijah was happy for them. (Elijah was not like Klaus in that way, don't ask me why maybe because he had loved?) Anyway, Klaus found out about them and made Marcel decide do you want to kill her or become a vampire? Marcel choose the later. He became a vampire. He broke Rebekah's heart. Klaus staked her and put her to sleep I believe for over 50 years. They don't age they don't die "Originals" they just go to sleep when you stake them. She awoke she Marcel, he walked away. Klaus told her he had to teach her a lesson and that she had been asleep for 50 or 60 something years... FF present day, Marcel and Klaus are aligned "tick as thieves again" only this time, Marcel is the "King of New Orleans", we are yet to finf out why the Michaelson fled New Orleans 100 years ago... Marcel - was a child when taken in by Klaus, he was a slave for a family on an estate close by to theirs, I believe. When Klaus saw Marcel getting beat by the person who was his "owner" (such a degrding term) he interfered, I believe he killed the man; rescued Marcellus (Which meant "Warrior" I believe something like that) because it reminded him of the beating he used to get from there father. Klaus was a "freak of nature" to their father and never accepted by the family (well the father). SO, he endured terrible beating beyond what anyone could compare. He related to Marcellus. He took him in as his own son. A bond was formed. He became part of the family. Hayley -is a werewolf like Klaus but not a hybrid. Hayley is half human, half werewolf, whereas, Klaus is half vampire, half werewolf. They had a one-night stand which resulted in Hayley becoming pregnant with his child. That is pretty much it between those two, there was no relationship, no feelings, nothing between them, just this baby. Whereas, when Hayley came back to town and met Klaus' brother Elijah. The fireworks began! You could feel the sparks, it was kismet. It was like two old souls that were meant too be together. The scenes between them ever since, have been intense, it reminds me of EJami in a way. They have this "intense chemistry", this "presence", this "force", this "push and pull" between them that cannot be ignored. I will post some montages and clips when I'm done explaining the characters. Cami - (Cami is Father Kiernan niece and the sister of the guy who was killed in New Orleans. She was compelled by Klaus in order to protect her from knowing too much about what was really going on in New Orleans with the vampires and werewolves. Who are btw, the 2 warring factions.) The ending of the last episode, Cami starts to remember everything! All the memories that Klaus had compelled her to forget started coming back and she was screaming in pain in the church. This is NOT GOOD YAWL! Davina (Is a powerful young teenage witch being held captive by Marcel until recently, when Elijah promised her protection, freedom and to ability to learn more "powerful spells" from his own mother's grimoire book of spells. Up until this point she was on the vampires side (well she deflected from Marcel's side to Elijah's/Klaus' side because of Elijah and his "honor". As of the last episode we really don't know what happened to her but we think she is with Cami. (NOT GOOD!) Father Kiernan (He hides the vampires secret in town and Cami is his niece. It is to be believed his nephew went "mad" and killed himself. Klaus is investigating this story and Marcel might have more to do with it then he is letting on.) He is apart of a powerful human counsel in town that controls what goes on. Sophie Deveraux (Witch) she started the "Witches Harvest" which brought problems for the witches to be expelled from New Orleans to pratice magic. She was working in tandem with Marcel and also sleeping with him. They were what you call "magical powerful friends with benefits" She is still alive and looking to seek revenge and kill Davina to resurrect her dead sister who was a witch. (Who died by the hands of Marcel and the vampires.) Edited by EjamiShipper, Jan 12 2014, 04:37 PM.

Finally, I did. I tell you if you don't follow and watch the scenes closely enough you will be lost. The writting is very clever. Plus I think it's when I take my meds at night so I am a little off. So, I re-watch the episodes the next day on cwtv.com sometimes but when I watched Tuesday night, I paided very close attention this time because of what you've been saying.

The whole story with Rebekah and Marcel though is why I had to re-watch Tuesday's show over again because I was a bit lost and TBH like over the whole Papa Tunde/Klaus/Marcel/Rebekah thing.SO, when I rewatched it and Marcel drew the picture and told Cami the story in the bar, I was like OHHHH!

I loved the Elijah, Rebekah and Klaus characters from TVD but when I watched the "pilot" episode, I knew I'd be addicted. The writing, the whole feel of the show is just really well planned out and the actors are just brillant. I always enjoy Charles Michael Davis (Marcel), Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley), Leah Pipes (Cami), Danielle Campbell (Davina), and Josh (Steven Krueger). It's a great cast. This new werewolf from the bayou that's coming on is hottie, you see his picture I posted? I think it's here. I think he will be interloper between Elijah/Hayley until they decide do something. Klaus seems ok with it (them) well now but you never know. Plus with Celeste back in town lawd knows what she will do to Hayley or try to harm Klaus' baby! I've been thinking about that actually. If she will try and kill Hayley and the baby, Celeste... ETA: Especially if she finds out Elijah is in love with Hayley now or something like that? Heads will be rolling. I see this as major angst for them (in the foreseeable future anyway) This witch/vamp war going on. Add in the werewolves we got ourselves a full on clusterfuck. Basically, I think new werewolf will be be enamoured with Hayley, giving her all this attention, while Elijah gets really jealous. Possibly when Celeste reveals herself to him or puts the stop/screws on that relationship of any kind. (SETTING OFF MAJOR Haylijah angst). I guess I'll have to watch and see what happens instead of writing my own harlequin romance novel, huh?

Nevermind all of this scheming to overthrow Klaus and take over NOLA. Who will be the "King of NOLA"? I love that aspect of the writing as well, how they always keep the fans/viewers engaged and on you're toes. Julie Plec and Michael Narducci are amazing at doing this. |

The Originals Spoilers: Is “Fighting For Her Own Survival” By Carson Blackwelder After last night’s epic episode of The Originals, we’re wondering what the aftermath of the failed completion of the Harvest Festival — and Davina’s (Danielle Campbell) death — will have in store for the other supernaturals in the Quarter. Since a lot happened in Season 1, Episode 11 (“Après Moi, Le Déluge”), we’re sure Rebekah (Claire Holt) is going to have to scramble to adapt to the loss of the teenage witch. Showrunner Julie Plec spoke to TVLine about what’s next for the snarky vamp. “Rebekah’s been very much on the offense for the last few episodes,” she began. “As a result of these witches having returned, the whole family, Rebekah included, find themselves on the defense.” The “witches” Julie is referring to are no doubt the powerful elders Celeste revived in the last few moments of the episode. Spoiler alert: they look like bad news bears. “It definitely throws a wrench into her intentions of building allies and plotting against Marcel and Klaus, because she’s actually fighting for her own survival,” Julie continued. “It changes up that dynamic in a really interesting way.” Yeah, we have to regretfully admit that Rebekah is probably going to have to put her revenge plans on the back-burner and side with the men in her life to survive this witchy problem. Looks like Davina was a key piece of the diplomatic puzzle going on down in New Orleans. We hope she returns! SOURCE/THANKS: http://theoriginalscw.com/introducing-the-originals-newest-werewolf/ Introducing “The Originals” Newest Werewolf! Written by Kayla Falls // January 28, 2014 Introducing “The Originals” Newest Werewolf! “The Originals” is getting a new werewolf in town, and he’s quite a handsome beast! Nathan Parsons will be making his debut on episode 1×13 “Crescent City” on February 4th. Nathan will be playing the recurring role of Jackson. Jackson is a new werewolf acquaintance of Hayley‘s. Jackson is described as having the underlying ruggedness of a werewolf raised in the Bayou, he’s magnetic, smart, and strong-willed. Due to all of his amazing qualities he is dubbed the natural leader of the pack. The man behind the wolf is twenty five years old and was born in Adelaide, Australia making the third Aussie on the show. Nathan moved from Australia with his family at a young age and grew up in Colorado and Texas. You guys might notice this hunky man from the ABC Family show “Bun Heads” or “General Hospital”. On the show “Bun Heads” Nathan played the character, Godot. Godot was first introduced on the show as a hunky surfer returning to town from a year-long surfing trip. He was of course idolized by the young dancing “bunheads”/ girl dancers. He later became a love interest for the leading lady, Michelle. I wonder if he will get a love interest on “The Originals“. Things do get pretty hot in the bayou. What do you guys think, is he a friend or foe to our favorite pregnant werewolf? Hopefully he’s a friend so we can see more of this hunky man. I cannot upload the pictures unless I tweet you, FB them, pin interest them or email them so click on the link. |

FULL CREDIT/THANKS: http://theoriginalscw.com/promotional-video-and-pictures-for-1x13-crescent-city-episode/ Promotional video and pictures for 1×13 “Crescent City Written by Cecelia Lawshe // January 28, 2014 Promotional video and pictures for The Originals 1×13 “Crescent City” episode! The promotional video for The Originals 1×13 episode of “Crescent City” has been released and pictures for the episode show some somber scenes that look like a funeral for Davina and possibly others. Sounds like one of those three ancient witches conjured up by Celeste has some unfinished business with Father Kieran, played wonderfully by Todd Stashwick. Speaking of the good Father, why is Klaus “contributing” some of his blood to fill that chalice? Are there plans afoot to try and bring Davina and the others back? Danielle Campbell, who plays Davina, is listed in the series credits as being around for the whole season, so let’s hope we see her pretty face again real soon! In addition to Papa Tunde, who is also listed as being in this episode, Nathan Parsons, who will be playing recurring werewolf Jackson, will make his debut. From the pictures he’ll not only be having scenes with Hayley, Phoebe Tonkin, but also Rebekah, Claire Holt. Jackson is listed as having an “underlying ruggedness of a werewolf raised in the Bayou, but he’s magnetic, smart and strong-willed — the natural trusted leader of his pack.” So is his pack Hayley’s or Klaus’?

Well in particular we are seeing one witches burial take place this upcoming episode. *cough* Davina *cough* SO, the rest of them were buried at the graveyard where we seen the ritual scarifices take place? Or other burial places? I am not sure about that one. Is it for the spirit to leave the bodies to enter the most powerful witch? Was that the purpose of the burial. I am not sure. I am just glad about what I saw though.

Does this mean that Sophie Deveraux's niece or was it her sister? Will she come back to life now because of this ritual/scarifice, interesting and intriguing idea. I am thinking that possibly they will all rise now. |
