She stayed there for a while, silent tears soaking the fabric of Nixon's shirt. When she'd finally composed herself, there was no evidence that she'd been crying besides the damp cloth. She attempted to smile at him, a small one, but a smile none the less. With a start, she realised she had to crane her neck back to meet his eyes.

"I missed you Nixon," she murmured softly. Then a flash of humour crossed her face as she grinned at him. "You've grown. A lot. Mind telling me what the magical food is? Stars knows I'd need some."
Che. How troublesome.

Tino was wandering aimlessly around the school without any destination in mind and soon arrived at the Cafeteria. "Cafeteria~ Cafeteria~" she cheered before humming a jaunty tune as she walked to a dessert stall. She didn't really feel like eating but after seeing the coloured treats she began to crave for it. "Strawberry shortcake, waffle with honey and mango pudding!" she ordered after looking at the menu which took less than five seconds for her to browse through. Receiving her order, she went to a nearby table and sat down. "Time to eat~" she said, picking up the fork placed on the plate of the cake. Scooping up a bit of the cake, she put it in her mouth. "Sweet~ The school's cafeteria's pretty good! They have so many variety of choices too~" she thought to herself as she continued to eat. "LINK Activate," she managed to say despite the amount of cake in her mouth and a personal digital interface sprung up in front of her. With the fork in one hand, she typed on the keyboard of the interface, keying in words rapidly before pressing enter. "Hmm.. Should I go and try to obtain more demons? But I don't really have enough Macca now.." she thought to herself as she looked at the screen with a slight pout.

'To go in, or to not go in... That is the question. Maybe I should, maybe I shouldn't. I saw her go in there, but... What if she's sitting with somebody else? Maybe wants some time alone? But...

I'm in love with her.

I'm sure she won't mind.'

Milo hovered outside the doors to the cafeteria, tossing up between going inside or waiting outside where there weren't as many places. He wasn't exactly fond of noisy places, nor crowded ones. But then again, she was in there. She would make things bearable enough.

Messily combing through his raven bangs with his fingers and tying up the back into a short ponytail, the boy went inside, carrying his usual books with him. Bumped roughly by a few kids as they ran first to get best choice of lunch, Milo suppressed a scowl and kept his head down, fingers tracing over the word 'Us' etched under the gold 'Diary' title, scratched into the leather firmly with a knife(?) in a reassuring manner. He just needed to find her and everything would be okay.

Picking up an apple and some tomato soup, so as to not seem odd by just randomly sitting down, Milo spotted a short bob of black hair a little way across the room, shuffling over with his tray and books and setting them down quietly on the table. Sitting opposite her, he managed a small smile that wasn't completely unnatural. It was small, but a rare genuine one coming from the odd kid.

Clearing his throat, he picked up the red apple and held it in both hands on his lap, tapping a finger against the shiny smooth surface. He felt strangely awkward, despite having anticipated his chance to sit down and talk to her. There was an estranged pause, before Milo finally looked up from his apple to glance at her.

"H-Hello... Tino."

"Category : Beast. Level 9, Kyuuki," she thought, looking at the screen where a 3D-image was shown. It was a little tiger cub but it wasn't just any ordinary one. It had wings sprouting out from its back. Clicking on the function, Demon Auction, she quickly entered numbers, bidding on Kyuuki. Her bid won against the other three opponents who were also trying to get it and she grinned. "Got it~!" she thought to herself then from the opposite of the digital interface, someone sat down. Moving the interface to the side since data was blocking the full appearance of the person, she got a clearer look. "Hello Milo," she greeted in response with a smile after seeing that is was him. "Having a snack?" she asked, looking at the apple in his hands and the tomato soup in front of him. Noticing she was still holding her fork, she realized that she had forgotten to eat because of the auctioning. Resuming back to eating, she looked at him as she ate, waiting for an answer from him.

When she said his name in that sweet voice of her's, he nearly startled in his excitement, and accidentally drove his finger hard into the flesh of the apple with a crunch, juice from the fruit spilling onto his hand. Looking down at it with a blank expression, he blinked a few times, the red colour reflecting in his sharp golden optics. "Ah... Whoops." he mumbled absent-mindedly, pulling his hand from the broken fruit and proceeding to take a small bite of it.

She remembered him. Well, of course she did. Why was he getting so excited about the fact she remembered his name, then? Ah. That's right. Nobody else really paid him any mind. It was nice to be noticed every once in a while.

"A snack? Yes. A.. Snack." Milo answered stiffly, taking another bite of the apple. He was utterly tongue-tied in her presence. She was so cute... And the way she was eating the cake-- He would have to make a mental note to collect that fork afterwards and add it to his collection.

Hearing a crunch, she blinked. When Milo had brought the apple to his mouth, she saw that his hand had apple juice over it. "Did the apple burst? Nah, that can't be it. Why would I even think of that?" she thought to herself and slapped herself mentally. Placing the fork down since she had just finished her cake, she took out a packet of tissues from her pocket and placed it in front of him. "Here you go. It's sticky, isn't it?" she said before starting to eat the waffle which was dripping with honey. Glancing at her interface screen which was beside her, the tiger in it roared happily, prancing about. "Into the storage you go~ I'll summon you one day," she said with a smile to the tiger who nodded its head and she pressed a button and the tiger vanished from the screen.

Somewhat astounded that she could eat all that sweet food at once, Milo took the tissues from her hand and accidentally(?) brushed her fingers with his own slender ones, leaving behind a small amount of sticky fruit residue. Cleaning his fingers with the tissue, he looked at herhand and paused hesitantly. Acting on impulse (he'd seen a couple do it once in a movie), Milo took her thin wrist gently and cupped her hand. "Oh... Let me clean that up for you." he said quietly, dipping his head to quickly lick the apple juice from her fingertips.

Using the clean side of the tissue to dry her fingers, Milo then tucked the tissue in his pocket and busied himself with eating the apple once more like nothing had ever happened. A foreign warmth came to his cheeks, a feeling he both liked and disliked at the same time. It wasn't a dislike, like the way he disliked apologizing. It was more of a dislike on the account that he felt rather self-conscious, whenever his cheeks were so heated. He was too shy to ask was she was doing with the little gizmo she had there, so he finished the apple to the core, set it aside, and proceeded to eat the soup.

"Ah," she blinked when she realized that there was a tiny bit of juice on her fingers. Before she could do anything, Milo said that he'd clean it up and held her hands and licked her fingers. She stared at him for a moment before bursting into laughter. "Are you trying to act like a cat?" she asked, trying to suppress her laughter. "Were you trying to copy Kyuuki? The little tiger that was in the screen a few moments ago?"

He seemed a little startled when she laughed, but then relaxed when it seemed he had amused her. "Miaow." he said in a soft tone, even returning her smile a little bit, easing more into her company. At the mention of the tiger that had been on the screen, Milo seemed puzzled, frowning in between a mouthful of soup. "It has a name?" he couldn't help but ask, genuinely curious.

When he had said 'Miaow', she began laughing so hard that she ran out of air and took deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. "Yup! Kyuuki is its name. I have many more of these demons! Don't really know why they call them demons though. Here, I'll show you one!" She turned to the side so she faced the interface and keyed in some words. A loading bar popped out from it and hovered in the air with a time countdown. "Not long now.." she mumbled and there the bar was completed when the time reached zero. The loading bar vanished without a trace and a magic circle appeared on the ground. Then a creature rose out from the ground on where the magic circle was. When the creature had fully risen out of the ground, the magic circle disappeared too. A pink creature, looking somewhat like a bunny but had large red horns and also a pair of pink bat-like wings protruding out from its back and also a long thick tail. "This is Mary," she said with a smile, picking up the said creature.
