Novus War

Character Classes

Novus War RPG uses a character class system to allow a different type of RPing enviroment from that standard "This is you, so go fight" type of senario. While this will seem a little "controlled", this system will allow players to support each other through the Classes which also implements a Advantange and Disadvantage system as well. There are a few classes to choose from when making a character, so choose wisely.

Trooper: Troopers are the most basic of fighters, they can fight in any situation with descent skill and are very formidable on the battle field.
Advantage: Gains an accuracy bonus when fighting a single opponent.
Disadvantage: Takes an accuracy penalty when fighting multiple opponenets.

Gunner: The Gunner specializes in fighting multiple targets. Gunners can lay down massive walls of supressive fire and are able to make enemies duck for cover fast.
Advantage: Can Lay down supressive fire up to four enemy units.
Disadvantage: Takes a defensive penatly when being Flanked from behind.

Marksmen: Marksmen are extremely skilled shooters when it comes to great distances. Not only can they take down the largest of enemy threats from a safe distance, they can also provide cover support.
Advantage: Enemy units are considered supressed when fired on from a Marksmen at long distances.
Disadvantage: Takes a defensive penalty from close range combat.

Blader: Blader's are masters of close range combat, most prefer swords over guns, but will use any CQC based gun if the option is open.
Advantage: Gains increased Accuracy at close range and melee combat.
Disadvantage: Takes an accuracy penalty from long range combat.

Swindler: Swindlers are stealthy fighters capable of taking down high priority targets and getting behind enemy lines. Swindlers are not the best of combatants at stright up-front fighting, but are not to be underestimated.
Advantage: Gains a Supressive bonus from Flanking enemys undetected.
Disadvantage: Takes a Defensive penalty in direct combat.

Racer: Racers are the battlefields fastest soldiers, they can make easy use of the surrounding terrain to find the best spots for high mobility and maneuverability.
Advantages: Does not take a suppressive penalty from taking fire from multiple targets.
Disadvantage: Takes an accuracy penalty at longer ranges.
