(ignore the title :ermm:)

No discussion of challenges outside the Challenge thread, please.

Today's challenge is the Have-and-Have-Nots Challenge, which will typically be a reward challenge, but those on the losing end will instead find themselves punished. Have-Nots will lose access to their bedrooms, be forced to sleep in the Have-Nots Room, and can only choose TWO Gameplay Areas per day instead of THREE. Being a Have-Not is bad news.

Today's challenge will see you all split into teams of two: Those teams are:
Chopper and Camie
Kizaru and Nami
Miss Goldenweek and Crocus
Miss Merry Christmas and Miss Monday
Sanji and Caesar Clown

Today's challenge is simple: you have been sorted into Writers and Drawers. During the first Phase, the Writers will be given an image that they must describe in as much detail as possible, then during the Second Phase, the Drawers will be given the Writers' details and will try and draw what the Writers described. Each Phase will last for six hours.

The team that comes closest to depicting the picture accurately will win the competition. Don't worry, we are NOT looking for artists here. How good your drawing is not what's important, it's about accuracy and teamwork!

The winning team will receive access to The Private Gala, a new secret Gameplay Area with a game-changing function. that will not count as one of the three daily choices. The winning team will also choose two other teams to be Have-Nots for the week.

Good luck. Writers will receive the image shortly.

There is a cerulean blue background sort of like a "Wall" in the picture. The foreground or the "floor" of the picture is a yellow-greenish color. The picture in itself is the typical assortment of fruits that most art students love to brag about, although there's a randoim bird in this one. Since this is a rather detail heavy picture, I'm going to describe each side and hope it'll be easier to gain an overall better image of how to draw it.

Left- Up against the blue background, there's a green bird. It seems to be a parakeet to me, but I'm not good with avian species. Think Hattori, just green. Directly underneath it there's a round brown sphere, like a coconut. The brown sphere is riddle with tan holes, resembling bullet shots shaped like a paralyzed letter K. Directly in front of that is a small granny smith apple, and a large orange. The orange is about the same size as the brown coconut, whereas the granny smith apple is about a half the size. The granny smith apple is on the same line as the orange, but hidden behind it (as if it was playing peek-a-boo). Now we have a plum, purple and black in color, directly in front of the orange. It's about... 1/3rd the size. Immediately in front of that is a tangerine, deep orange and speckled with black spots. It's the smallest fruit on the entire picture. In the lower left hand corner a signature is included that says "Frida Kahle. 51."

Center- This one will be quick. In the back, directly to the right of the parakeet is a nectarine. It's a bit more oblong than an actual circle though, colored in a peachy tone with a little greenish splotch. Right in front of it is a large slice of watermelon. This is the largest fruit on the entire picture, stretching far enough to the left to cover some of the bird's wingspan and the very edge of the brown coconut, and far enough to the right to cover the very edge of the avocado and melon. As with most watermelons it's inside is pinkish, red and it was missing seeds as if someone has been pecking them out. (I'm thinking the bird, but who knows.) Right in front of the watermelon is a huge orange, that has a slice off the top and is facing towards the front. (As in, you see a circle facing towards you where someone has cut off a piece)

The Right- Starting from right under the edge of the watermelon we have a do-do green melon. It's the color green you expect someone to look like when they're sick. After that, it's a dark green avocado that's about 1/3 the size of the melon. In front of that we have another orange that's about the same size as the one on the left, and as expect, is colored a light orange tone. The last piece of fruit is a... I'm thinking a yam, as that's the only thing that comes to mind to describe it's shape. Round at the bottom, while thin at the top. It has a dark orange color. Think, a pumpkin.

That's pretty much it though. Do your best, and let's see what happens.

The picture consists of a pile of fruits stacked on top of each other, with a big slice of a watermelon on top. A parrot is sitting behind the watermelon slice, looking towards the painter. In front of the watermelon is some sort of citrus fruit, with a bit of it being sliced off, so it isn't completely spherical. All of the fruits, except for the slice of watermelon, are spherical in shape, some larger than others, but the watermelon being the largest. They're not exactly stacked in a tower, it's more like they were tossed on the ground and they're kinda grouped together like that.

Okay I will give this my best shot... try to draw it in the order I describe.

First the picture is of a green bird sitting on a pile of fruit on a table, close up on the pile and bird.

Starting from the bottom left, there is a green apple sitting a little behind a yellow grapefruit. In front of that grapefruit is a small plum and next to the plum is a tangerine, slightly covering the bottom right of the plum and grapefruit.

Draw another yellow grapefruit next to the first, but this one has a large bite taken out of the front of it, then to the right is another grapefruit sitting a little behind the bitten one, but still visible.

In front of that grapefruit is a mango that obscures the bottom half of the grapefruit.

Sitting on top of the three yellow grapefruit is a quarter slice of watermelon. The top of the slice is bumpy and crescent shaped.

In the watermelon are 8 seeds arranged in it. Starting from the left, there are two seeds that are close to the rind towards the top end, one under the other. Towards the middle is a triangular grouping of three seeds. and closer to the other side of the melon is another triangular group of 3 seeds.

Sitting on top of the middle of the watermelon is an orange. on the left of the orange is the bird, who is sitting with his wings folded and looking straight at the drawer.

The fruit the bird is sitting on looks like a potato with strange spots dotted all over it. The bird's tail feather covers the top of the fruit. This fruit is sitting behind the first grapefruit drawn and is also obscured by the left corner of the watermelon.

Sitting behind the third grapefruit drawn and also obscured by the right side of the water melon is half of a purple oval. sitting right behind the purple oval is a green grapefruit.

That's about as best I can think to write...I apologize Monday....

Hey Nami,

Ok, first of all don't worry about background yet. The content of the picture takes up most of the space. The picture is mostly of fruit, so most of what you'll be drawing is round.

Lets break everything down into rows, as opposed to layers. (It will be a plus to include layers, but getting the placement is more important)

There are four rows, which I will label 1-4. 1 being the bottom(closest) 4 being the top(furthest). Parentheses are layers.
Also, for the greater good, I'll name columns as well. This one is way more complicated than rows, Sorry in advance!!
The columns will be labeled A-D. A being far left, D being far right.
You'll be coming back to this section a lot, so I will bold it.
Okay as for the most important part of all this. Time to rank all the rows and columns by size!!
3>2>4=1.
C=D>B>A.
Okay, if you understood all of that, you're in good shape. Hopefully, it should make things easier once you get used to it.

Time to start drawing! I'll start at the bottom left-going to the right.
Row 1 takes up a bit less than 25% of the picture, although some of the fruits are a bit smaller.
Okay, section A-1 only includes the signature of the artist, which is "Frida Kahlo. 5l." The font, Lucida Calligraphy should be good enough. If you don't have that, try Pristina font. The sig is on the bottom left of this section. Maybe make it size 16 idk. The color is black

B-1 has two fruits in it and is bigger than A-1. The first fruit is a plum I think. It is purple and the second-smallest fruit in the picture. The plum will take up more than half of B-1. The other fruit is tangerine and is the smallest fruit. It is in front of the plum, covering the bottomright portion of the plum.

C-1 is one of the only empty sections.

D-1 is the biggest section in the bottom row. It is of a red fruit that is wider than it is tall. It starts at the left border of D-1 and almost makes it to the right border of the picture. The fruit is also oblong. It has a bit of a gourd shape, so not round. Just draw an oval with the right side tapering off.

Okay if you want to layers, you can. But it'll make things harder. Just to reiterate...

A-2 is of a lime, so light green round thing. It fills up most of the section but part of its right side is being covered up by the orange in B-2.

B-2 is of an orange that is in front of the lime in A-2 but behind the plum in B-1 and the orange in C-2. Confusing...yeah it is. The orange is bigger than the lime and takes up all of the section. A small part of the bottom is covered by the plum. A small part of its right covered by the other orange.

C-2 is of an orange, but this orange has a round portion cut open. It is in front of the orange in B-2 and the orange in D-2 and is also bigger than both of them. It is the 2nd biggest fruit of the picture. The biggest is a watermelon slice(yikes) that is right behind it. O yeah, this orange also covers up the watermelon. As for the cut portion in the orange, it is about the size of the plum. The cut portion also has two seeds in it, 1 in the top middle, 1 in the top right.

D-2 is the third of the orange musketeers. It is basically the twin of B-2. A small part of its bottom is behind the red thing in D-1 and a part of its left is covered by the bigger orange. It does not reach the right border of the picture either.

Now for the row with the watermelon........oh god.

The top of A-3 is the tail of a parrakeet, yeah. we'll get to that later.

A-3 and half of B-3 is of this weird purple/brown object. Part of its right side is covered by the watermelon. And the bottom in C-2 is being covered by the orange below it. This fruit is weird. It has some spots on it. Just make 7 white spots on it. The spots are decently sized, about the size of the stems of a fruit.

The watermelon is a bitch. It is front of everything around it except for the middle orange. It is a giant watermelon slice that is much wider than it is tall. It takes up some of B-3, all of C-3 and some of D-3. Again, it is a slice of watermelon, so only the outside border is green, the rind is just inside of that, which is white. Then we get to the fruit. It is a pretty ripe melon, so red should be safe. There are a lot of indentions in the watermelon, but only some of the indentions have seeds. 8 of the indentions have seeds in them, if you want a specific number of indentions try 25.

Ugh, now for the rest of D-3. It is of 2 fruits, 1 is a black fruit. It is covered on the left by the melon and covered on the bottom by the orange. Barely any of it is visible. Its size is comparable to the lime in A-2. The second fruit is a big lime. It is almost as big as the orange, but half is being covered. The topleft is covered by the watermelon and the bottomleft covered by the black fruit. The right of this fruit reaches the right border.

Alright, last row! The row has a lot of empty background space, since it is not in front of other fruits.

A-4 is empty.

B-4 is of a lovely green parrakeet. Its beak is on the right side, so the rest of the body draw accordingly. It is looking at the picture. About half of the birds body is covered by the watermelon. (the bottom half of course)

C-4 is of a very tiny orange. The bottom portion is being covered by the watermelon and it is about as big as the plum in B-1. There is a lot of open space above this orange.

D-4 is mostly empty.

Okay now for the background. Row 1-2 and the bottom third of 3 is a pretty bright yellow. The rest of Row 3 and Row 4 is a solid blue.

You don't have to do everything exactly of course, but I did provide large room for error. It is very confusing, but at the very least you'll have everything in the right place!

Good luck :D ,
Kizaru the Meticulous

Whattttt, we can't edit?!?!

Oh well, please add this in at the end, Julie.

"A-3 and half of B-3 is of this weird purple/brown object. Part of its right side is covered by the watermelon. And the bottom in C-2 is being covered by the orange below it. This fruit is weird. It has some spots on it. Just make 7 white spots on it. The spots are decently sized, about the size of the stems of a fruit."

In the description above instead of C-2 I meant B-3. Sorry for the unnecesary added confusion.

Also, only 1 of the parakeet's eyes are visible. But keep in mind that its eye is looking toward the front. Its not quite a profile, the birds chest is visible for the most part and you can see part of the wing in the back. Oh yeah, the tail at the top of A-3! I had it completely separate b/c the slice of watermelon cuts off the tail from the other visible part of the body. So if you want to get the picture more accurate, make sure to include the left and right tips of the watermelon in A-4 and D-4, respectively.

I previously said those sections were empty, but I can't edit so yeaaa, hopefully bolding will help.

Wow, looking back, my way of desribing is pretty crazy. Good luck again!!

;)
