LBL Expedition Trip; O/N Ride

A few of us have tossed around the idea of doing an overnight expedition type trial run, in order to test the waters for planning a multiple night expedition trip.

We are looking at doing a trip to LBL, maybe hitting the trails early enough to ride an hour or so, set up camp, and ride the next day for a while and then head back home.

Again this trip will only be an overnight trip, however anything needed will have to be brought in to be used, and of course any trash brought in, gets brought back out.

LBL = Land Between the Lakes. It's on the edge of TN and KY. Really big area with an off road park (Turkey Bay) in the middle of it. We wouldn't be going to Turkey Bay, we'd be riding the run down, unkempt, roads. Based on what the lady told me on the phone back in April, they can't afford to maintain the roads so they are washed out and pretty rough. She said they have people all the time getting stuck in Jeeps, trucks, and SUVs.

I've been wanting to do it since I found out what it was... I know LBL is a bit of a drive for you guys (probably around 5 hours) though... :(

We would take mine if we ever went. Jacob doesn't really trust his to drive past Little Rock. XD

I've got a great trailer... I want to do a few things to it, but it'd be great for this type of trip.
