Ranks Ah yes, ranks. This is what defines us as marines/pirates/bounty hunters. Pirates Pirates are ranked by their bounty. Initial bounties will be issued depending on the severity of the crime you commit and the threat level they present. Committing crimes lower than your bounty's entire worth, won't give you a raise. However, with certain extenuating circumstances, your character may get a bounty raise, depending on what crime they have committed against what they have done in the past. For example, if your character has a relatively high bounty, for example, 100,000,000, the chances of them getting a raise from attacking a Marine battleship is very low. However, if they have a lower bounty (say 10,000,000) and they manage to defeat a Government official (e.g. Shichibukai or high ranking Marine officer), then the chances of them getting a raise is much more likely (such as Luffy defeating Crocodile then getting a raise). There are other ways of getting a raise other than mentioned here, so after a thread, if a bounty update is requested, a member of staff will decide how much raise will be awarded, if one at all. Marine Ranks Marines are ranked by… Well… Their ranks in the government Ensign - Free at start. Lieutenant Junior Grade - Total of 10 SP earned. Lieutenant - Total of 25 SP earned. Commander - Total of 45 SP earned. Captain - Total of 70 SP earned. Commodore - Total of 95 SP earned. Rear Admiral - Total of 120 SP earned. Vice Admiral - Total of 170 SP earned. Admiral - Must have at least 210 SP earned - Must have a spot open - If there are no spots, must surpass one of the previous 3 admirals. Fleet Admiral - Total of 400 SP earned - only 1 is allowed and if there are more than 1 candidate then admin/mods must vote on who will get it. Bounty Hunter Ranks Bounty hunters are based on their threat level. Bounty hunter’s threat levels are calculated like this; Threat Level = (Earned SP) + (PC Kills*10) Example someone who has killed one Player Character, and has earned 15 SP, has a threat level of 25. Threat Level Ranks 0-9 – Rookie 10-19 – Median 20-39 – Veteran 40 – 79 – Renowned 80 – 99 – Eminent As threat level climbs, the bounty hunters are more and more feared. |
