Avicus looked around this island, hearing that there was a swordsmanship tournament happening on this island. Avicus had the day off, and had managed to sign up the night before as he sat in a dark corner and watched as other swordsmen came and signed up. The tournament would be taking place in an area that was held in the center of town, and was most likely going to have a lot of contestants. As he looked down at the piece of paper he was given, stating the rules.

Rule 1: No Devil Fruit Abilities Allowed to be used while in the Tournament, this is a sword fighting Tournament.

Rule 2: PLEASE do not kill anyone, if deaths happen then it is fine but please avoid killing people.

Rule 3: Play fair, the judges will determine if you have broken this rule and will remove you from play if need be.

As he read this, he looked up to see several more people coming up and going to sign up.

Coniko walked the streets drinking his regular OJ. He passed a few homeless people and threw them some beli. He didn't like to see people begging. For beli specifically. It irritated him seeing them powerless when he knew they could get a job and earn a living. But enough of the seriousness. He saw a crowd gathering by a stand. Seemed like a sword fighting tournament. Coniko was bored as all hell. He captured the pirates he was soposed to and now he had to wait for a ship to come pick him up.

He had time to chillax and see what the tournament was about. He asked a man who had the rules in his hands. The rules was easy. He had no devil fruit whatever those were. Seemed they were quite popular for Coniko to not know what they were. Either way they forbid them. No killing is easy for Coniko but they did say they allowed accidents.

Coniko smirked at the thought of this time killer. It should be fun and rather easy. He was gonna fight until the end have a few accidents and quit. Letting the last person win. Trolling the hell out of the audience. Coniko sighed his name and stepped back as more people came flooding in. But Coniko didn't look at the reward. Well Coniko was going to quit anyways so it made no diffence. He turned around and walked around a building and jumped apon in to gazed at the crowd of men and women yelling and pushing each other to just write their names.

Coniko pulled out a OJ juicebox stuck a straw from the side and stared drinking slowy. He had about 5 more on him. He was.gonna save those for the tournament and after. Coniko thought about if the ship came while he was in the tournament would they leave him? Nah they would leave a strong guy. Well Coniko thought og himself as a strong guy not yet meeting with the legends of the sea.

He saw that one of the people were starting to cause trouble for the others so Coniko jumped down and landed behind the man. But he jumped down in such a manner that only a few people would be able to see him. He grabbed the fellow by the neck and dragged him to a near by ally where he then proceeded to knock him out. The man was a regular problem causer trying the ruin other peoples fun. Especially Coniko's fun. He hated when people would do that. It seemed like it was a habit of people to ruin it. Then again he had a habit of arresting them. Which added on to his fun. All in all Coniko' fun couldn't be stopped be regular means....

It was a nice day, a boring day but otherwise it was perfect weather. Kerum had to figure out what to do with his life soon or he would die of boredom. He looked down at his hand as it shifted slightly and quickly from mercury back to his normal body. Ever since he ate that fruit he had felt that there was more he should be doing. Everywhere he looked he saw people suffering, yeah the marines were held high but they did nothing to actually help out the ones who needed it most.

A group of people caught his attention as he stopped and looked, casually strolling over to it he noticed some guy on top of the building watching casually. Shrugging it off he walked up to the sign and read it. "Great time killer." Kerum muttered as he signed his name, he wondered how many dual swordsmen would be in the tournament if any. He doubted any others would even have a devil fruit to be banned but he hardly used his anyways.

As he walked away he glanced up noticing that the man was off the roof. Peculiar but nothing that really caught his attention. If it was not for how Kerum thought and evaluated everything he probably would not have even noticed the man. Hopefully this tournament would proof interesting regardless if he won or not.

Avicus looked out as he saw several people signing up, one of them very clearly a Marine. He knew this because he saw him earlier taking away a pirate to a ship. As he looked on the saw more and more people signing up for this tournament. Apparently, there was so many people that the people had decided that they were going to break it into three brackets and the finalists were going to have a three way match to see who the winner was.

Avicus was one of the first people allowed to go, and he quickly and very brutally ended his first fight by cutting the man deep enough that he quickly passed out but not deep enough to kill him in a single stroke in the first couple of moments in the round. Avicus was a swordsmen, and this was suppose to be a place for him to test his skills, and he has yet to see any of that. Sadly, this continued all the way to the finals, where most of his matches were over in moments, the longest lasting about a minute before he made a mistake that cost him the round, and alot of blood. Avicus was in the finals, and he waited to see who his opponents would be.

It was finnaly time for Coniko to have some fun. It seemed to soon. His playmates liked to drop by flies. He didn't even need to use his Heavenly Way techniques. Coniko the thought he would give them a chance by only dodging. And even then the pathetic people didn't land a finger on him. He could see the lack of training these guys hand. Triping them and kicking was what Conio had to resort to.

They deserved no less. He thought of the finals and who the peps were gonna be. It made Coniko want to rush. But you can't rush play. Nobody can. He went into tge crowd of people dodging punches and retaliating with a trip or kick. These guys compared to the CP instructors was like a baby and a tiger. No hope. He had almost killed a man by trying to use full force.

He ducked under the oncoming punches and kicks the people threw. Man or woman they were going down. And then he did it. He round house kicked a man so hard to him temple that he died. Coniko was well on his plan to troll. It almost seemed to easy. Three deaths later Coniko thought it was enough and he just needed to get to the finals. Then showed up this big man. Looked like a mini giant. He probably doubled Coniko's size. But with that huge height came the weakness of being slow. And Coniko made use of this. He rolled and leaned back from the man's fist. Coniko soon realized they were the only ones left in the group of fighters.

Coniko dodged the man until he saw his movements were getting slower. It made Coniko laugh at the fact and made the man angrier. He had enough play from the man and decided to end it. Until the mans movements started to get faster. Coniko interested in this new development decided to play a bit longer. He soon found out the reason. The man suddenly stopped and fell to the ground. He had pushed himself to hard. To not even touch Coniko. Coniko feeling sorry for the man.... nah Coniko wasn't sorry for the man. Infact he just put his hands into his pockets and walked out.

After awhile it was finnaly time to end this. It might also be the time the ship was getting near the island. Coniko rolled up his sleeves and took out one of te remaining orange juice. He drank it while walking to the stage. As the stepped up he saw another fellow. Even though all Coniko used was his fist and legs. It seemed he wasn't breaking any rules. It said no where that using hands and feet were forbidden. And even so he was sure this guy used his hands or feet too. But he would want to see how he won. Coniko stood their drinking his OJ waiting for the last contestant.

Waiting for his turn was the worst part, however Kerum refused to watch the other fights. Which was strange in and of itself as he loved to know everything. The rush of fighting someone you knew nothing about however was what made fighting worth while. Then if you found a worthy foe figuring out how to beat them was rush. Finally it was his turn.

He walked out slowly sizing up the man he was fighting, he was bigger and held a two handed sword. It had gnarled teeth on the sharp side, if used properly that weapon could be troublesome but he doubted it would be. Charging the man swung at him horizontally, with quick motions he brought up his right sword the tip still in the sheath to help hold the mans sword at bay. With a bored look Kerum drew his left sword and made three slashes and the man was down. "Child's play."

The next few rounds were different, mostly just because he couldn't handle them all with such simple moves, but they were still simple. He managed to get to the finals with a cut on his shoulder and one tiny one on his face. He was being cocky and led to those, it was hard to mentally force himself not to shift into mercury but he held it at bay. Now it was time for the finals.

Avicus walked out into the Arena, getting ready for the final match of the day and he clearly did not look like a swordsmen. Avicus is slightly taller then your average human. He is never really seen around the town that he is stationed , atleast not when it is a clear day outside due to his sensitivity to the sun, so if you do see him he is a Porcelain complexion. Going to his hair, it is often combed and slicked back hair that often shines with a very odd shimmer as it catches light. He wears a high collared black jacket, with a frilly undershirt that slightly hangs over the V in the jacket. Under that is a white undershirt and he wears simple black dress pants along with black dress boots. He also wears a pair of upside down cross earrings, but that was not the thing that made Avicus stand out. It was his blood red eyes that seemed to look though a person, as if he was not seeing them but something else entirely.

As he was watched the rest of the group entire the field, he had not bothered to watch either of their fights nor did he really need to. Avicus was going to sit back and let them come to him. They were the best of the best in this town at this point in time, and he was going to see if that was true. If they beat each other before they fought him, it was no skin off his bones.

Coniko saw as the last contestant entered the field. The air seemed heavy or was it Coniko's desire to see the strength of these two. He continued sipping. He has soon reached about half of the box when he jolted at the large man. He made swift movement in a zig zag patterned to distract his field of view. He then threw his box torwards the mans face and feinted a punch to the face. He then went for a upper cut with the other hand going for a combo.

He had a smirk on the whole time. He also thought of ways the man could avoid this he could jump back. Well if he did Coniko had his foot placed where he could use it to jolt forward somemor steps. If he moved left or right he Coniko would use his other leg to sweep him. If he jumped up he would be caught by Coniko's uppercut.

It was going well for Coniko the only thing that could ruin thia would be that other guy. Well if he gets one person out it would be an automatic win for the other guy and vice versa.

Kerum hated three way fights, it tended to be two versus one until only two remained and then it was a normal fight. He was not wearing his vest this time, but instead a black sleeveless under armor that stuck to his body tightly. He still hand on his elbow length gloves and regular pants though, each sword hanging on a separate hip. Someone was sipping on orange juice while another just stood there, before Kerum could even act the guy sipping on orange juice went on the offensive, without a sword.

Kerum drew his Red Talon, the red katana clashing with his black shirt, as he held it at the ready in his right hand and watched to see what would happen with this first assault, he would be ready to jump into it or defend himself.

Avicus looked at his two opponents, and as he looked at his other opponent he was surprised to see another member of his squad. CP-5. Avicus put this aside as he watched the man then start to move quickly, he was attempting to go in a zig zag pattern trying to throw him off. This only slowed down his movements, allowing Avicus to read them easier, as he had more distance to travel. Avicus watched the man's body, knowing that he was a hand to hand combat person but he had something the man didn't. About a 2 foot difference in reach.

This man was banking on his ability to get in close with his opponent and beat them down, sadly this was not going to be as effective with Avicus as he would think because he could track and keep up with him. Avicus also realized that the man had made a very serious mistake. He was putting a lot of forward momentum into an attack and stopping would be difficult if not impossible before it was to late. Avicus decided to close the gap alittle bit, and did the unexpected. He moved forward into the man. Easily dodging the thing of orange juice, his eyes never leaving the eyes of the other man

This lowered the distance between then by a serious amount, and most likely surprised the man as he most likely did not have a swordsmen that ran forward towards a punch. He was in for a much worse surprise.

Iaijustu Strike

Due to the way that Avicus was trained, his body moved in a fluid motion and his arms and hips moved apart from each other, allowing the blade to get out of the sheath faster, smoother, and with more force behind it. As he drew his sword, his blade would shine for a moment for only a split second as the light came off the blade and swung the sword at it vertically. This was aimed for his the right part of his pelvix to his right arm, this was not going to be deep enough to kill him but it was going to be deep enough to take him out of his fight if it did hit.

This attack was simple and swift, and due to the fact that they were both equal in speed, relatively, and because of the two feet advantage that Avicus had if the man wanted to get in closer to Avicus, so if he wanted to hit him with his uppercut, he would have to run into the now swinging sword and the sword would have most likely kill him then.

Coniko knew this man was train by the sudden sneakness and swiftness he braught. He was already quickly beside Coniko about to cut him in two. It thrilled Coniko to see his comrade so into the battle.

Oooooo it seems this one gots a hotheadddddddd. Might as well play like him alsooooooooo.

Coniko continued with his force seeing how the man closed the space Coniko closed it more. He rolled to the right watching as the blade whizzed pass his head. He then rushed in again after the blade was high enough he went for another uppercut. This time Coniko was way closer than before making it harder to dodge than the last one.

Coniko then remembers a movie he hated. It seems the boy is well trained he is also bent by the rules of society he also tries to help himself. Also he likes to take a step back and let the wind follow him behind. He loves the morning breezes and tends to lose himself in it. He personally dreams about the stars in the sky and how he wanted to reach them. The see them. He wanted to become a astronaut. He loved the thought of traveling through space and discovering planets seeing whether what we call aliens are real. Or just having fun. He completely hated the movie plot.

(Sorry its small it and some of it its irrlevant But its mostly action :3)

They were fast, and accurate, it looked like all three of them seemed to be roughly on the same level all around. Well Kerum could see this only because he knew himself, they knew nothing about him. His mind was already working, watching the two fight and waiting. His hand twitched eager to fight but his mind stilled it. The roll was fluid almost as if he meant to do it all along. That sword attack was powerful and fast as well.

Kerum slowly drew his second blade and flipped it so that it pointed down towards the ground the dull side flush up against his forearm. It was a style he was working out, it made the dual wield fighting both offensive and defensive instead of primarily offensive. He was still waiting however, to see just what the two would do. The back of his mind felt that they might turn on him any second.
