Oceiros had returned home. The self proclaimed king of North blue had returned from the grandline, where he had spent the last 10 years of his life fighting and becoming a threat to the world government and all those that oppose them. He had gained riches, he had gained women, he had gained men, and yes, he had gained power. He returned now with said wealth and gains in tow as he returned home to the place that had spawn one such as him so long ago. He stood with his council inside of Yhorm's ship. He might have held it inside of his own metal lined ship were it possible. The giant shape and hull of Yhrom's ship was only reflected in the giant's own size, his figure bent and hunched as he layed against a giant stone throne upon the deck of the ship. A large machete like weapon leaned against the stone throne, the giant ready to enter combat as soon as possible should it be needed. While Yhrom sat in front of him his two sons sat to his left. Lorian was the elder of the two and Lothric the youngest. They had both inherited his power but neither in the form he desired or the way. Neither could their frail bodies handle it. Lorian was mute and blind while Lothric frail. Lorian's strong, but crippled, body was only made complete by his younger's brother mystic application of his own powers...those that opposed and completed Lorian's. Across from them and to his right stood the captain of his legion. He never spoke and never seemed to even breath or sigh in reaction to things said. His duty was one that didn't require words to fulfill...it was the only thing he did with reckless abandon. To say that he had any special power of his own would be a falsehood yet to say he was entirely normal was ever more of one. The king knew, of course, but the mysterious figure hadn't revealed it to him through any means on purpose. His leaders were ready, his legion of soldier assembled. Time for the homecoming of the Consumed King. -------------------------- The marines of North Blue were in a panic. An old pirate long thought dead had returned to those Northern tides and Hungova Island was preparing for war. There was no response from HQ, either they were busy or their enemy had cut their lines and means of communication...possibly sent a spy ahead. Information on the pirate was rare and outdated. They only knew that when he had entered the grand line 10 years ago that his fleet had consisted of near 100 pirate ships. His departure then had seemed like a good thing. 100 pirate ships gone from North blue and most likely never to be seen again? It was almost a cause for a new holiday. Commodore Nezuel was the highest ranking marine that still had contact with North blue and thus it was his responsibility to protect the citizens within it. The information had come early, the king had wanted them to know and fear, and he had been up all night ordering marines to guide citizens away from the proposed battlefield of the Island's main bay. He had ordered the marines to let Megan sleep, she would need to be rested for the coming fight and he needed less than her. But now the sun was rising and with it no doubt Megan. He was currently situated at the very top of the marine base with a good view of the future battleground. He stood by, order marines from various parts of the town via the den den mushi he had had brought to him. |

The hands both holding her and feeling its way over and along her body were frosty but not cold; organic and ice at the same time and yet lacking temperature altogether. The hands caressing her body then flung her effortlessly through the air where she seemed to sail backwards for a time she could not determine. The sun was shining, setting the horizon beneath her aglow. And then she'd landed on a bed, and the same hands were now grabbing her breasts as gently as men did. Smiling in the chill of delight she grabbed the hands grabbing her and then watched them suddenly ignite in flames. The sun ... the sun was creeping quickly up the horizon, the clouds beneath her as she sat up on the bed now. It too was enormous ... Megan woke up as the sun glimmered through the window and hit her at eye level. She immediately sat up in the living world, coming to the realization she'd slept in. Pretty badly too, considering her bed was somewhat elevated with a desk and basic study unit beneath it. She found herself sweating a little and so decided to take a shower first. In and out in minutes, she was thanking fates for her manageably short hair and patting it fairly dry as she found herself wondering what exactly to wear today. She was beginning to realize that her dream had been no accident, and her reaction had been genuine. But he needed some training -- some refining. And he would be suitably rewarded. Putting on her mesh bra/chest piece and what she referred to as her 'battle panties' -- black silk but interior padded-for-comfort underwear and a form-fitting athletic bra and vest she buttoned up over this. Along with her fairly mini skirt was the usual high black tights and knee-high clasped battle-ready leather boots she liked also because it hid the final touches of her otherwise organic-looking cybernetics. Taking a look in the mirror, she scrunched her hair into a shoulder-length ponytail whilst the rest of her hair rested down her bangs and sides. Liking the look, she made some small adjustments and then grabbed her Marine officers' coat, deciding to put it on for now as she stepped outside of her quarters and immediately noticed the level of noise. Something serious was going on. And she was in the living quarters of the base. People were making a low-key commotion upstairs, and the semi detached two layers of rooms. Megan shut the door, locked it and then jogged down the hallway do the small reception/waiting area. Shutting the MARINES ONLY door behind her, she then quickly made her way to the door leading into the main foyer where it was immediately clear that nobody's day was going according to plan. Opening the door to this unexpected scene, Megan was greeted with the sight of officers and seamen scurrying to and fro, carrying out orders at breakneck speed, even. "Just arrived. The Commodore is on observation level, correct? Whats the commotion? Make it brief." she said, catching a seaman that was busy sorting and sorting cannonballs into sacks. "We've spotted a fleet of pirate warships and are preparing to fight them. The Commodore is on the top floor, yes." he replied giving her a salute she returned in kind. "Thank you, officer." she nodded in gratitude as she turned immediately to the lifts that would take her to the top floor. However her mind was, while not in turmoil, pondering why he'd let her sleep in like that. Wasn't this somewhat ... important? She'd have to ask him about that. |

Nezuel would be busy upon Megan's arrival to the top of the marine base. He'd be hunched over a map of the area, a table brought all the way up here by some unfortunate marine chore boy. Four guns served as weights, stopping the maps from blowing away from the windy area...whose guns they were Nezuel wasn't really sure. The map was of the island with some stronger detail on the town itself. One thing of note was the changes the commodore had made. The bay, a rather large one for the island/city, had be highlighted with a light blue color along with the very onset of the island and town itself. If Megan were to look over at the highlighted area in the real world she would see that the usually calm morning tide had been frozen and trimmed into an icy plain devoid of cover. Further along the coast several walls of wood, stone, and metal had been created with marines and guns placed. In short he had created the area into a killing floor of the up most efficiency. Already the bay had started to melt, it was a quick job and he had decided he would be uppon it once the fleet was in sight to make sure it didn't break apart or melt into the ocean She would perhaps hear him giving some marines orders to move cannons into places. If she looked on the map she would find several dark grey figurines of cannons on top of buildings, one of which was this one. Furthermore on each street that ended with a cannon topped building there would be small streaks of light blue at each intersection. In the real world they were walls of wood and stone that would corral the the enemy once they made it past the beachhead. The streets they would take would not only move them into cannon fire but away from the evacuation area. Furthermore each consecutive cannon placement had been placed on a progressively higher building. The result was that even if one of the cannon building had been taken the next cannon crew would be able to see, fire, and eliminate the enemy before they got it under control. The commodore would turn towards his right hand. "I know you're mad" he'd say knowing that she'd prefer to be up and about. "but you needed the sleep more than I did...and truth be told you're going to need all the energy you have for what I have planned for you." Edited by Nezuel, May 4 2016, 03:31 AM.

Megan stepped out of the sliding metal doors going horizontally and then vertically, allowing her into the polished but busy command command center. Easily spottable was Nezuel, his huge body hunching over the central table looking at something held down by guns. Megan stepped into the chamber realizing that whatever it was, it must have been done in a hurry for such an impromptu setup. Peering outside, she could see that the landscape was quite different now, too, as if Nezuel had added some touches of his somehow. There was ice like there, in a formation that made it clear to Megan that they were about to face a seaborne invasion of some kind. As Nezuel ordered some cannons into place, Megan peered outside again for a moment and could see that defenses had been erected, walls and cannons put in place in positions that would force the enemy to take fire no matter how they came at Hungova. Nezuel had clearly had some warning of whatever attack was coming, and Megan made her way around the room until she was visible to his view and then stepped up to peer at the map he was perusing. She gave him a salute. "Oh, good morning to you too -- and of course I'd have rather liked to know what was going on even if you left a note by the table." she said with a wink, referring to her bedside table and taking note of the seamen, Marines and officers bustling around them. If they were going to continue their cat-and-mouse it would have to be done without distracting the rest of them. "But I would love to know where all my energy's going today. This looks like a big one." |

"I apologize beautiful" he'd say, not changing his voice of tone, obviously speaking his mind in regards to her physical features. He could appreciate the wink she gave him...as well as what she had chosen to wear but he had to stay focused on the task at hand. "Oceiros has returned to North blue" he'd say, studying the marine's face and if she had a hint of recognition at the utterance of the name. "Pirate captain from a while ago, left here with a few dozen ships and now hes coming back with atleast a hundred, a fleet." He would point down toward the bay, finally making note of it. "As soon as we get visual sight of the fleet me and you are going to go down there. He was confident, or stupid, enough to tell us from where he was coming from and that he was coming at all. Reports say he doesn't have honor so I doubt he did it for the fight itself, much more likely he wants to tests his troops, veterans and greenhorns alike." He'd point back at the map. "The civilians have been evacuated inland incase they try to circle around the island...but I'm going to try and force then to land as soon as possible...basically on the ice sheet." if he was going to say how he was going to do this it didn't show and he didn't elaborate. "The position is good...but eventually we're going to get overwhelmed but numbers. Their main goal, from what I hazard to guess, will be this building...cutting off the head of the snake and all that. You're going to use your blades and guns to pepper and harass them all the way up this route" he'd point at the blocked passages that left only one route through the town. "if they get here...I need you to defend the HQ...." |

The reply brought the typical close-mouthed, some might say somewhat mysterious grin out of her as she tried to match the rate of everything going on with what Nezuel was about to tell her. Upon hearing the name Oceiros her brow raised in what she had to admit was a lack of recognition, though the explanation on his was quick to follow. "Over a hundred. Starting from a dozen ships. Alrighty, then." she nodded, realizing that whoever this guy was, he was seriously charismatic and therefore very much a threat no matter what. Good start. She followed his point down to the bay, where she assumed this grand fleet to be arriving in the general direction of. Then, she listened to Nezuel's plans and nodded in agreement. "I have one request then, sir. I want there to be guns, hand cannons, at certain intervals. With ammo for depletion. If its a six-shooter, six bullets. If its an RPG, just one or two rockets. Those chain guns on turrets that our big boys lug around sometimes -- throw one of those down somewhere along my route back with a single, long bullet magazine for me to rip through. I'll make every shot a cripple or kill, but my ammo is .. quite, limited." she bade him, thinking further. "I want those guys fighting tooth and nail every single inch they try and take from this Island, starting the moment they touch land or ice. If you have snipers that can cover me .. hmm. And what about you?" she asked, habitually shifting gears in her metallic arms and self-checking bullets and chambers for any faults or rusty movements, etc. She'd become accustomed to having to fight and kill enemies eager to do the same to her now. Now, she was a true blade of the Commodore. |

Nezuel stopped what he was doing as Megan started to talk. It was, perhaps, less a sign of how little he regarded the importance of the impending invasion and more so one of how highly he saw Megan. When she was finished his eyes, almost smiling, stayed on her for a second or two before hardening as they turned towards a marine aid. The man got the message clearly enough and ran down the stairs towards the center of the base, no doubt relaying orders on Megan's supply drops. Later the man would come back, giving marks on the maps to the weapon caches. "Me?" he'd as, his gaze once again settling on Megan before he smiled and looked out towards the frozen bay. "Are you worried about me Miss Tsushiro?" he'd say, adding a bit of a playful tone to his voice before it, like his eyes before, hardened. "I'm going to be on the beach, ice shelf, but I'll be suitably occupied keeping the enemy occupied." He didn't want to imply that she needed his help but he had to admit that he was a bit sad that the two of them wouldn't be fighting together, side by side, during this battle. He had gotten use to relying on her and being entertained at her own lithe and agile fighting style, a stark contrast to his own. "If you find yourself missing me though..." he'd continue as he grabbed a flare gun "use this" |

Megan watched the officer dash down the stairs, slightly dismayed at the urgency everybody was moving. This sort of thing was actually her specialty -- urban, house to house, street to street, and field medical combat. But this was also where she parted someone she'd come to both rely on and see almost as a literal pillar of strength standing before her, and behind her when she needed it. Now she would be the field officer, the moving, much smaller pillar behind her mobile forces. She cursed her laziness now, wishing she'd installed the gatling guns into her arms, maybe something within her legs. Too late now, though. No point dwelling on the what-ifs with an impending full-scale battle at hand. She walked over close to Nezuel and looked from the flare gun up into his eyes. "Thank you. I'm going to think of this as a last resort ... because if I have to use this then I've failed you as a commanding officer on the field." she said, the same wispy grin and twitch of the nose as her eyes went from his back to the flare gun, taking it and stashing it in a wholly unused side of her medical satchel. That would come in handy. "Well ... I can see you're worried about me, huh?" she said, her eyes going back up to his as she put an organic-looking, gloved metal hand on his. "We're the Marines. We have each others backs. I've got theirs. Their 'pillar' is my duty to you. You've got mine. And they all have yours. Remember that." she said, her smile ever so slightly parted for perhaps the very first time as she patted his hand a couple of times and then turned to begin the still somewhat significant journey to her outlying destination on the battlefield. |

Nezuel would smile as Megan put her hand on his. Somewhere, deep inside of him, he knew that it wasn't really her. That somewhere in her quest for power, or justice, or the need and desire to protect others she had sacrificed his body for that goal. In some ways the two of them were alike. He had sacrificed his ability to swim and to ever be a normal person as well. There was no normal life for a logia. As she turned away his hand darted to hers. "You're not getting away that easily beautiful" He'd say, keeping her hand in his as he drew it to his lips in a kiss. "besides, if you're planning to go to the battlefield we may as well go together. And with that he'd motion to his shoulder and should she accept and climb upon her usual place on his shoulder he would jump over the railing and land at the front of the marine base. His hand would find her leg as the two of the walked towards the harbor, holding her stead in his warm and strong grip. Naturally they'd walk through the street that Megan would be charged to defend, giving her the chance to see the caches and such. |

Megans brows went up within her typically wan smile as Nezuel put her hand to his lips. Part of her glowed in fondness and something a little more carnal for Nez, and something else within her stirred in self-consciousness as she realized how different her hand may feel from the rest of her. Cold ... organic-looking, but lifeless nonetheless. But if he did notice, he showed no signs of it and her smile widened again. "Aww, Nezuel, thats too kind. Alright, lets go." she said as she was literally swept off her feet and placed upon Nezeul's shoulder as she was becoming accustomed to now. And so they left the Marine building and began heading through the city towards the beaches where the fleet would begin landing. It was then, staring out into the seas that Megan spotted a very wide, and vast assortment of ships that were bearing down towards the shore fast. They were still a ways away, even as her and Nezuel made their own way through the city. Megan forced her eyes off the incoming fleet and took in the supply drops as her and Nezuel passed them. She knew Nezuel was passing by each to show her where they were and she appreciated this of him, wrapping her arm as far around his shoulders as she could. And then, they were near enough their destination. "I've got plenty of support, but I want you to keep yourself safe. There's no doubt they'll hit you the hardest as they know we're here. Watch your back." |

He liked feeling Megan's hand around his shoulder almost as much as he liked feeling her ass against it, or his hand on her leg keeping her stead as the two of them moved across the town. It was at the moment that megan saw the giant fleet coming to the island that the person he had assigned on watch at the tallest building in the island set off a flare to signal their arrival. It was meant to do a couple of things, first get the men on he beach ready and secondly to make sure he was in position. It wouldn't take long from the time they were seen to the time he could act. "I want you to be careful too" he'd say, letting go of her leg and allowing her to jump down onto the ground if she'd like "But you don't have to worry about me...I have every intention of getting a kiss after all this is done for a job well done. I only wonder if I can get one for good luck." he'd wink at her, joking and flirting but only that less she take it further. "For now...I want you to watch the show and get ready." He'd stroke her hair one final time before leaving her to her duty and him to his. Megn might have noticed that the icy fortifications he had made seemed weak and crumbling. It was due to the lack of his presence but as he moved onto the ice it sprang to life, his legs reflecting the white ice as he strengthened it with both presence and will. The same could be said for two large piles of ice, though what Megan couldn't know, that were to the left and right of the bay's mouth, separated by at least 100m, they too were reinforced and strengthened. Nezuel, upon reaching the bay of the mouth stood and looked for the fleet, seeing its edges as it crested into sight. Sighting he'd bring his hands forward, cracking them as he got ready to work his magic. Around his a hush fell as what looked like steam, or super cooled air to be precise, started to form around him, obscuring his body as it began to bulge and grow. Several seconds or minutes later a giant skeletal hand would emerge from the steam, picking at the pile Megan would have seen, revealing it to be a pile of icy pillar. The hand would move back, lifting the pillar is it went, moving it horizontal and back before going forward, releasing as it moved and the resulting gust revealing the entire icy skeleton that Nezuel had become, atleast 50 meters tall. The first spear flew high, but he had expected that. It hardly mattered anyway as there was so many of them atleast one ship was bound to hit. yet even as the spear embedded itself on one ship it cased te ship to flip over as the ice hit the ocean floor, the boat landing on another boat which destroyed it before another boat, the one behind it, crashed into it. Perhaps the screams of men and women could be heard on the beach behind him...but he wasn't focused on that, he was focused on making them pay for every inch and a girl he'd rather protect. |

Soon enough, they were at the open mouth of the bay with the icy ramparts flanking them as Megan's attention was less on the caches of weapons and more on the fleet before them. It was a serious mass of ships, a literal armada. Megan was confident in her ability to decimate squadrons and during her last stay at a high-end Marine gymnasium had set one of the training Fista units at a 12,000,000 threat -- and won. Her role had long been removed from the medic she'd once considered herself.Sliding off the Commodore's shoulder, Megan landed on her booted, cybernetic legs with a softened pair of clicks and another one of her soft smile/smirks flushing forth as Nezuel mentioned the promise of a kiss upon success. She couldn't help give a small nasal exhale of amusement, to boot, as he then stroked her face and turned to leave. She was going to have to remind him to take that freezing hand of his out of its natural state, even for touching. How much concentration would it take him to perform an act of frenzied sex where everything was all over the place, she wondered. "I'll be getting the men here ready too. Captain Cyborg and myself will keep the men along here in check. We'll keep pushing them back as long as we can. And I'll see what I can do when I get back." she winked back at him as she turned now to the preparatory scenes around her and started to locate the various platoons and squadrons around her -- rooftop, street level, the works. And then, all at once -- perhaps a little faster than she herself expected -- the first stroke of battle was underway as Nezuel's ice spear slammed into a boat and sent a rippling domino effect of ships careening and flipping about. Megan took a running start up a wall and then latched a rope dart into a wooden post connecting two houses and then pulled herself towards it, swinging from there onto a bridge on a slightly lower level but between the battlements of ice Nezuel had erected. "Eyes forwards and everybody stick to their assignment! Staggered fire, four waves with two reloading at all times. Any signs of fatigue, fall back into fourth row sniper range for a small break and leisure fire to recuperate! We're going to rip every one of their teeth out for every millimeter of soil they have the audacity to take from us. Aim for the eyes and genitals at all times -- shoot the women before the men in order to enforce total emasculation and loss while they run towards hollow victory, their manhoods cheapened!" she cried, and to her surprise the cheers of rally were much louder, and heartfelt than she imagined. |

Within the wooden and metal walls of the king's ship he and his highest advisers sat awaiting the coming battle and the storm that would follow an break after. None talked as the king sat, on hand propping his head as he contemplated what was happening outside. Shouts had arisen but the men above had their orders, to overwhelm and take the enemy by numbers if not by force. His thoughts were interpreted, however, and his head moved sharply up as a giant spear of ice pierced his mighty ship. The icey blade moved forward, slicing in half and impaling his Eldest Song Lorian. Concern did not pass on the king's face as his eyes moved to the tip of the ice, which had stopped inches from his crowned head. A paniced emissary from above entered, detailing them on the ice giant and fortification upon the beach. The king smiled glad that this wouldn't be a quick fight...one that he had expected when he returned from the Grandline to his home ocean...it had changed in the time he had left, but so had he. "Yhorm." his deep voice uttered, eyes moving to the giant as he started to move, grabbing his large machete blade with a half notch for his second hand. "Test your mettle against this icy giant." he'd turn towards another commander as he wiped the giant from his mind, confident in the giant's ability to stall the mysterious ice giant if not defeat him. "Ferron" he'd say to the captain on his legion. "Take yourself, the greenhorns, and the slaves to the enemy. I want you to take the smaller boats and use them to assuatly and capture the beachhead for the main force." Without a word the man left. -end- |
