"I'll be taking a pooh-pooh today, Gaston." came the silky, deep, luxuriating voice of the eminent Prince of the North, Darius Lockhart. He was seated upon a toilet made entirely of gold and let out a terrific anal roar, perfect and smooth like a baritone trumpet as he filled the golden goblet with his feces before taking a pair of white gloves and slapping Second Lieutenant Gaston across the face and spitting out a mint that hit him in the mouth, causing the subordinate to wince very uncomfortably. Darius Lockhart then finished, standing up and flicking the last bit of toilet paper in. "That breath mint was ... disgusting. You can flush the toilet now." "Do I have to, sir?" "Flush the toilet." Darius said, turning -- not that Gaston had a choice. Darius then stepped out of the bathroom and into the main foyer of his fortress-like chain of resorts overlooking a line of businesses and casinos. A cheering crowd awaited him, and he raised his hands like a victorious boxer, floating like a butterfly for a moment as they cheered, a few showering the air with light, slow-falling flower petals above him as he lowered his hands; the volume of the crowd lowered accordingly. "Are there any subjects at hand that wish to be called forwards for glorious council?" he bade of them. Immediately many of them jostled forwards as if begging, throwing themselves at his feet. Darius walked through the parted crowd, across the stone and marble foyer of the most glitziest of casinos here and up onto the grand throne that had, previously, hosted a stone statue of a dwarf holding up a stone mug of beer in a salute to the Islands' prosperous tradition. Now, Darius Lockhart was sitting on it as he watched one of his 'subjects' come forward. This man crawled to him on his hands and knees, never looking up. "What is it you wish to ask of me? Speak." he said, waving his hands impatiently. "My goats, sire, my goats -- they do not bear the young nor produce the nectar I need for my flock. What do I do, my lord?" he asked as Darius nodded thoughtfully, before replying. "You goats cannot produce the nectar you need to produce your cheese and young, farmer?" "Its true, milord, its true!" "Ah, then take five of your finest male goats, and place the third horn of each goat into your cup." "Sire, you speak in riddles!" "Their phalluses. Put them in your mouth. Then spit their seed into the womb of the female goats. Thus you will have a herd brought forth by your king, Darius Lockhart." "Thank you sire, thank you!" said the humble goat farmer, looking only slightly confused as he backed into the crowd that came forwards once again now that the council was over. Lucy Loveless and Terry Hardon were now also arriving back from their missions -- Darius could see them entering the main foyer behind the crowd now. He wondered what news they would have for him. Though Darius was a man of his own kind altogether, he was still capable of doing what he had done. He was in control of Hungova, tenaciously holding his piece of it against the Marines successfully now. And soon, even if it had to be over these fools and drunks for now, he would rule the North. The Wind Treader cut through the seas like a knife, carrying the young wolf and Uriko towards Hungova Island, land of the drunks, the stench of vomit, good beers, and fine ladies ready for a party day and night. In his days before the War, Leon could have imagined himself heading off to somewhere similar to this. Perhaps a little more ... refined. The Island looked normal enough from the distance he was. His ship wasn't too remarkable though it was all-black and this helped as it was nighttime here at the moment. The moon did little to illuminate his vessel and as far as he could tell there was no reason to be watching this far away from the docks anyways. At the same moment Darius Lockhart was holding his council, Leon stared at Hungova Island as his ship slipped ever closer, his mind going over what was to happen once he arrived. He was to take out a man known as Darius Lockhart carrying a hefty 200,000,000 bounty who had recently landed here himself, and taken the Island by force. Or at least, taken his share. The rumors Leon had gathered through his journeys had painted a pretty candid picture of this guy. He fancied himself some kind of actual prince, a real blue-blooded type who thought nothing of others. Leon found himself smiling a little as he thought about what he was going to do to Master Lockhart when he finally caught up with him. It would be something far more satisfying than the Witch. He knew it."I'm coming, 'Prince of the North'..." he said, holding himself aloft on the top of his own sail as he then felt a hand on his shoulder. Uriko had fixed the sail and come up to see him. "Its time, Leon. Lets go pay your friend a visit." she said, patting his shoulder as he and she then swung and fell their way down to the deck, landing and then positioning themselves to ready the ship for arrival as it slipped silently through the moonlit darkness, the black vessel nearing the quiet shores of an oblivious -- a very oblivious -- enemy. |

As the council went on as Time passed within the glorious casino that one would ever possibly imagine for a man that is oh-so beautiful as Darius Lockhart, the Prince of the North, still wearing his fabulously amazing-looking armor after having preciously let his own women clean it oh-so many times during the night along with his own body, of course, would start feeling a certain... emotion. An emotion that everybody in the casino, as of now, had learned to fear during his reign. The Prince... was bored. Bored of this pathetic representation that was set in front of him that one would call his "subjects" and his "people", bored of how monotonous life has become after the Marines has successfully, and finally, learned to let him live his reign in peace, bored of how terrible the men and women here were - with some mere exceptions, of course -... He was simply bored. Recently, after having acquired a very specific warlord from Hibernia to sing him some songs of valor, justice and battle, the Prince has grown tired of the skills given to him by these pitiful Marines and has, since, craved for a true fight. Certainly, after the warlord finished his singing and pleaded to come back to his clan, Darius had tried to actually replicate his songs in reality, but, really, the only thing he gained from that was a decapitated head and nothing more. And, as for the women and men? Well, to his surprise, he had to admit that some of the drunken wretches of the island have actually decided to repent their sins at his sight and has, since then, joined his services either as one of his warriors or another that would pleasure him whenever he wants to. Of course, "pleasure", for a man as mighty as Darius Lockhart, could mean anything: it could mean sex as much as simple grape-feeding like how other Princes were portrayed in many tales of royalty. Though, admittedly, they still looked... ugly, for the most part. And this is why he has been, since then, inventing the best scientific project one would ever conceive! Well... Well, no, he hasn't actually created it himself - actually, Gaston did, of all people -, but he has since gained all the profits from it. Although the plan asked of him to ally himself with one of those Midarana women from the South Blue, for the moment, it was going pretty smoothly, to say the least. For the moment, the project, in the Prince's head, would be shown like this when it would be finished: one would enter a machine and, suddenly, he or she would become as glorious as he was! Beautiful, prideful in his work, but, the most importantly, FABULOUS. Because that is the only thing that he needed around him: the feeling of being fabulous! It was the best thing he has ever gotten from his childhood and, ever since then, he has kept it to himself... for now. Only those with such a fabulous aura as his would be allowed to become his very right and left arms... just like Lucy and Gordon, his lieutenants. Ah, but damn these thoughts! Already, yet another one of his pitiful subjects were at his feet, pleading to help him get more alcohol. Although he has already given him many answers in the past, he always came back for more as though his thirst could never be fulfilled. Thus, after he pleaded for more once again, Darius would stand up, then stop in front of the men before slowly crouching in front of him and putting his hand on his chin. "Allow me to give you one last, true answer to your unquenchable needs, drinker, one that would definitely satisfy your needs." "Yes, please, tell me!", the man would say, as, then, Darius gave him his final answer: "At a nearby cliff close to the sea lies many towers of stone men have never been able to reach. If one would pierce its own self on one of the towers, the spirit of the sea will fulfill all of your desires..." He then stood up and pointed towards the door that lead outside of the casino. "Now, go forth, drinker! May your wishes come true!" The drinker would shiver, his eyes wide with admiration, then quickly nod before heading outside, too thirsty for alcohol to even thank the Prince for his help. In the meanwhile, Gordon would approach him and ask, sighing: "Another drinker, my lord?" "Yes, Gordon. Will you please head towards the cliffs outside and hide his future corpse just like all of the other men and women whom were too drunk to think correctly?" "Am I-" "Yes." "... Alright..." Gordon would leave out yet another sigh as he went outside and followed the drinker , his eyes closed as he shook his head. "Men these days..." Of course, eventually, he would meet the presences of Leon and Uriko as he followed the man in town, of which he had to go to to then head towards the cliffs that would eventually lead to his death. He would not notice them at first, no, but they will surely do. Edited by Hibiko, Jul 11 2016, 04:34 PM.

Leon had compiled as much of an idea as he could about his target and everything had indicated that he was fortressed within Wisceytown. The place had been torn apart even somewhat recently, too. Even in the shadow of night Leon could see that there were few truly illuminated enterprises there. But if intel and hearsay was correct, this Darius Lockhard had fortressed himself in the casino area. Basically, the glitziest (perhaps the only glitzy bit still standing) part of the Island's main town. Leon was banking the night-black ship to dock just outside the town. Well beyond where its under-lighting reached, anyways. With a crazy cyborg attack and now this recent battle between Lockhart and the Marines, Leon was surprised as many buildings were standing as there were. "This place seriously stinks. Oh, wow, the rumors have to be true. Its this bad here, and we're outside the city, Leon." "I know. Apparently the alcohol made here is very, very strong. We'll have to be careful about drinking anything that even looks like water. Be cautious about that at all times. The brew here is strong enough to jeopardize this mission if we have any. Lets get the ropes." he replied as they went and grabbed the docking ropes before taking a running start off the ship, both flipping onto the sand and then running the ship a little into the sand before heading over to the trees they'd seen and tying their vessel into place. "We'll keep to the forests for now and move straight towards those cliffs overlooking the casino sector." he said, pointing to the very cliffs Gordon tossed bodies. Their ship secure, they began a low, rapid run towards the cliffs. "Once we've spotted our target, Leon, you'll have to consider that he has an army around him capable of holding the Marines off. How do you know you'll even be able to get to him?" Uriko asked him quietly, peering ahead at him thoughtfully as Leon, for now in human form but clothing meant for purposes just like this, didn't even take a moment to ponder the question. "He's got himself and a few good men but nothing significant otherwise. Every story I heard about the fighting he did with the Marines told of a few people doing almost all of the attacking and defending. On top of that, the locals are apparently completely fed up with the state their Island is in, with people like Lockhart. So we're going to do what the people would want us to do and then get out of here. Nothing more, nothing less." he said as he looked back at her. They nodded to one another, staying silent as they both headed and were now more or less at the cliffs where Gordon was headed to do his dirty deed, his part in what this Island had become. |

After, finally, Darius' council finally came to an end that was well-deserved, the man would stand up from his chair, stretch himself as blood would slowly come back to his limbs after he has sat in that chair for so long, then would stare at the now-empty throne room with a slight pout and his arms crossed, almost as if he was completely disappointed by the fact that he had no more subjects to torment with his riddles. Although he now normally finds his councils to be mostly incredibly boring to host nowadays, well, they were still hobbies of his that he enjoyed being apart of, else he would simply die of boredom. And today, in particular, was a day that he was much more bored than usual to the point that, after he stared at the throne room in silence, he would let out... a yawn. A. Yawn. The people still present in the room, whom were all women that actually almost wore absolutely nothing on their bodies apart from little pecks of metallic jewelry on their nipples and lady parts, would let out gasps of shock, then, immediately, two of them would quickly join Darius and hug, pressing their mostly-bare breasts against him. These two women were unfortunately the only ones that could interact with Darius so closely alongside a certain male servant and Lucy, and it was all because of their incredible beauty. Most of the other servants were very ugly due to them having drank so much alcohol and, thankfully, those two women seemed strangely unaffected. Maybe it was because they came from other islands not long before he had decided to come here and claim this island as his home... But whatever. The two of them were beautiful in the sense that their bodies were just perfect. Their breasts were both ample D-Cups and their hips were wide as well as their backside. They were not too fat and their eyes, both bright gold, shone like little gems. The only difference between them was one had short bright green hair and the other, long black hair and glasses. "Oh, Darius dear, you seem tired..." The green-haired woman would whisper to Darius' right ear with a high-pitched voice, and the other would head towards his left and whisper as well, her voice much lower-pitched and suave, sensual. "We could always have some fun all together like we did last time..." At their voices, Darius would smile softly, embrace them both, then look up towards the ceiling as he headed forward towards the entrance of his casino. "Oh, May, Winter, unfortunately, I cannot do so right now, for my volcano of flesh is not ready yet. However, tonight, it might be ready for eruption sooner or later." He would smirk, then let them go as they both laughed softly and left him be as he then headed outside, then stopped, frowned, then snapped his fingers. "Ah, Eureka!" He then headed inside once more and, instead of being outside on such low ground, he would head towards a balcony where he could see the town in the distance plus the bright moon shining over the island. "Much better!" Much better? No, it was perfect, perfect for royalty, for the Prince of the North. From here, the view allowed him to see every single inch of the town... Well, maybe this was an exaggeration, but he could indeed see a lot, the advantage being the height where he was himself. Plus, he could also smell the place. Although many considered that the majority of the island stunk like a drunken skunk, Darius couldn't help but think that there was no other smell that he liked more than Hungova's... It was so vile, so perfectible... One day, he is going to make that smell not only keep most of its original smell, but, also, he is going to make it smell better, if that makes sense. All thanks to his and her South Blue partner's genius.... As such, he wouldn't notice the little specks in the distance that were different than most people around here. He couldn't notice Leon and Uriko, of course, as they were heading towards the cliffs where Gordon was headed himself, whom, by now, had finished hiding the drunkard's body with a sigh, shaking his head. "Drunken idiots, the lot of them... How pitiful..." Edited by Hibiko, Jul 12 2016, 08:45 PM.

Leon and Uriko continued their muted, rapid dash towards the cliff that almost towered over even the tallest buildings of the city here. Coming closer and closer it was painfully obvious just how bad the toll of war had been here. The buildings were not in good shape at all. Even in this darkness Leon could see that a lot of what should have been standing, was not. Or, half-built. It wasn't dilapidated, but, the town was in pretty sad condition. They began their run up the slope, the base of the cliff as Leon saw immediately that they were not alone. His eyes, sharper than a cat's even at night honed in on the Gordon's figure, leading the way. Leon himself was not in wolf form, as to avoid the revealing lightning that came with it. And so he was able to slow almost to a halt for now meld into the darkness with Uriko. It was a practiced movement as he and her began to snake silently along, tracking their quarry. The ones they were watching, Gordon and the unfortunate with him, didn't have so much reason to be silent. And so Leon and Uriko began tracking and following them, Leon interested in what they had to say particularly given such strange circumstances. Whatever was going on here, on a night like this, was something he would take notes on no matter what. However unlikely it was, this may well be someone working for Lockhart, some type of security detail. Leon didn't think for a second that Lockhart knew he was coming, or even knew who he was. But, you never know, he thought. Better to see what was going on before he moved on. |

As both Uriko and Leon would watch Gordon finish up the job that was given to him, which was, to be fairly put, rather not only morbid but also quite obnoxiously annoying due to how hard it can be sometimes to hide corpses, the man would let out a sigh as he was finally completely done, then simply approach the cliff before looking down below with a face that seemed to mix both wary and disappointment. If one would take a look at the rocks below, they would notice that, unfortunately, many people had actually been fooled by Darius' words during their drunken celebrations and wishes for a better life. From the looks of it, the "towers of stone" the Prince of the North was talking about were actually nothing but turned-up stone stalactites protruding from out of the North Blue waters below. Needless to say, at this point, those stalactites' tips were soaked with blood due to the sheer number of drunkards that had decides to follow Darius' snake tongue, and Gordon couldn't help but feel, at the morbid sight that was given to him, that, one day, the same fate will dawn on him for having decided to follow such a cruel man. Then again, he had no choice but to do so, and so did Lucy. Those whom were chosen by the Prince of the North were forced to follow him after all; if they refuses, their family, judged "sinful" and "ugly", will be kidnapped in an attempt to convince the chosen one to change his or her mind... and, if they dare refuse again, their fate will be worst than death: they will be thrown into the bowels of the "Bateau de l'Amour", where they will be tested upon to fulfill Darius' desire to produce "perfect" living beings to his own image... Unfortunately... Gordon had refused the first time. As such, he was forced to simply watch in horror as, one by one, each and every single member of his family would disappear one by one, probably having been forced to reach the Bateau de l'Amour. All of this information, to put the cherry on the cake, was, of course, given by mails and Den Den Mushi conversations... all by Darius himself. In the end, he was forced to accept his offer and, nowadays, he is usually tasked to do everything that Darius considers as "dirty": spy missions, assassinations, that sort of thing. Never before as Gordon felt such guilt to side himself with such a disgusting man such as Darius... At this point, maybe even death will even be able to console him from such an awful feeling. Then again... One day, he may be able to see his family members again, or, at the least, those whom are still alive. After the previously-mentioned kidnappings, he has never been able to hear any news on them, and every single day of his life has been filled with countless numbers that couldn't possibly describe how worried he was. As such... after he would stare at the bloodied stalactites below, he would close his eyes, then turn himself away from the cliff end before clenching his hands into fists and slowly heading back to Darius' casino, his eyes closed, himself having no idea that he was being watched at the moment. |

There was no doubt in Leon's mind, watching Gordon do his work, that he was watching a lackey of Darius Lockhart. Things like this didn't just occur on an Island for no reason, and with a pitched battle between the pirate crew and the Marines over it was now no surprise to him that things like this were happening behind the scenes. And clearly, it was not a Marine operation. This was not how they did things. But for what purpose is he killing these people? Did they know something? Did they simply refuse to obey orders? he wondered as he then whispered to Uriko. "Stay here until I unsheathe my second blade, even an inch. Watch us and either join us or kill him, depending on the circumstances." he whispered very quietly to her sharp ears as he then began snaking his way out of the bushes and into the open of the cliff, on lower ground than Gordon. He stayed out of the moonlight as long as possible and then stepped into the cliff clearing. The moment Gordon saw him, Leon would unsheathe his blade Fenrir and point it directly at him. "Stop right where you are. You are under arrest for the murder of a civilian of the land. Darius Lockhart is already set to be assassinated, and you've been set up as well. Those he hired, betrayed him. He will die." Leon lied. "He set you up, and sent you out here to die, just like that poor bastard there. But I'm not particularly inclined to kill you. So, perhaps we can help each other here, now, before this entire thing gets out of hand. It already has, but, perhaps you can help us start making things right. Perhaps you'll talk your way out of certain death, as well." he finished, doing his best to start applying confusion tactics on his opponent. He would gain nothing from outright attacking Gordon but the more they talked (Leon planned to kill him either way; the man had earned it with the show he'd put on just now), the more information Leon would have on his prey, Darius Lockhart. But there was something odd about the man Leon was looking at. He looked so .. resigned, almost as if he'd expected something like this to happen some day. Now Leon was extremely curious. Uriko, from where she was, was giving Leon a slightly quizzical, amused look. |

As Leon suddenly appeared in front of Gordon further down the cliff, the man would stare at him with his deep green eyes, curious at first as to why a man suddenly appeared from the bushes just like that. At first, he had concluded that he had been spied on, and so, his first thoughts would be to convince the person that was in front of him to leave the island and never speak of this incident any further. However... as Leon then proceeded to talk about him being arrested for the murder of a civilian like some sort of undercover Marine officer, talking about how Darius was already set up to be assassinated later on this night and that Gordon himself was also set up as well within all of this, his face would go from slight annoyance to a deep, deep frown... A frown not of anger, no... one of fear, desperation, especially once the swordsman started talking about how those whom Darius sent had betrayed him. He stared at Leon for a moment trying to explain to him that, as long as he was going to talk between each other, he was not going to kill him, even going as far as telling him that he was maybe about to talk his way out of certain death, then let out a long, sad sigh, which would set up around the area quite easily. "So my thoughts were not incorrect..." He looked down towards the grass below him, the green soil that he has oh-so much walked upon, then closed his eyes, his hands clenched into fists. So, this was it... There was no way out of this. This man in front of him... It was Leon Columbus, one of the leaders of the Rebellion. There was absolutely no way that this man was letting him leave alive after all of this, especially after the act he had just committed. "Please... Be frank with me..." He looked up back towards Leon, staring into his eyes. "You are Leon Columbus... You are part of the Rebellion, of the people that have decided to put themselves against our present laws and social dictations. Do not try hiding your identity from me... Honestly, at this point, everybody living on these seas have heard about you. After what I have just done, there is no way you are letting me leave on my own anytime soon... I doubt my Soul will even be allowed this place, now that I think about it." He would put his arms against the sides of his body, then would continue. "You must not be alone for you to say you already have everything under control. For all I know, if I decide to fight you, my fate will already be decided and there is nothing that will tell that I will not be shot on sight. However, if I cooperate with you... such fate might be similar, if you fail to succeed." He closed his eyes. "I am turning forty soon, and I have followed this putrid Prince for a good amount of time now against my own will. I am no typical bad person, like you see in all those books and theaters... Tell me..." He sighed. "If I tell you everything, and if I allow you to leave this place without actually confronting you to head on towards Lockhart... would you allow me to see my beloved ones once again? You must have heard about it, maybe... Those whom are taken under Lockhart's wings have their family taken away from them if they refuse his offer of recruitment for the first time... I have been trying to get in contact with them ever since... If anything, I want to see them again before I allow Death to surround me within its cold embrace..." At first Leon had been giving Gordon a fairly stoic, regular facial expression but he couldn't help become ever so slightly quizzical as the man laid his heart and soul out on a platter. There were a lot of variables that, in this particular circumstances, were already eliminated. There was simply no warning that Leon would have come, and so there was no way that this guy had prepared this in any way. He got no real sense of aggressive counter-confusion tactic from the man, at all. Without realizing it, one of his brows had gone up. But what was surprising him was the ease at which the man had recognized him. That skirmish on Candyland was no joke. This isn't good. he realized as the man continued to tell Leon everything about himself -- except his name. He wondered, then, if he was somewhat sensitive to this due to his own being known now. He kept a hand on the second blade, but did nothing with it. "We're here to put an end to the reign of such a cruel leader." Leon said, and Uriko almost burst into laughter as she had to stifle a cackle. Leon ... you are un-freakin-believable. It was like the guy's auto function was 'Revolution'. "This man who fancies himself a 'Prince' ... if I defeat him and expose his business and dealings on this Island, then you have a perfect opportunity to then find your family. I will decimate his forces and make it that much easier for you to get where you need to go, in order to find what information you need to reunite with them. This Island and you -- will be free. I promise." he finished, staring Gordon in the eyes evenly, calmly -- stoically. A gust of wind blew his clothing and the black, robe-ish attire he had on tonight. Perfect timing. "What do I call you? I just saw you kill someone, someone as innocent as you see yourself perhaps. So, the price you'll pay is to atone for your actions by telling me everything you know about this 'Prince'. Who he is. Every power. Where he is now, where he would run to, and who is with him. I will end this Prince -- tonight. You would be wise to be there to gather whatever information you need." he said, stopping short of asking that they pool their efforts. Watching Gordon slay someone had such an effect. Uriko at this point was watching the scene and the area around them intently, now very wary of any ambush that could be coming their way. She could tell that, in his reverie as the Leader of Freedom, Leon had dropped his guard a little. But more than this, her eyes were on Gordon now, keenly aware and searching for deception. |

As much as Uriko tried to search for any deception within Gordon's depressive-looking person ever since he has engaged his discussion with his maybe-soon-to-be murderer, she would find that, from the looks of it, there didn't seemed to be any sort of deception at all. No... actually, this man seemed completely honest and, for a man that was considered as Darius' right hand, this was rather strange to say the least, especially after what happened between him and that villager he just called back then. Then again, it never seemed as though he had done for fun, but because he had only been ordered to. Due to this fact, this may be seen as fear from being caught, else this man would had probably already tried to at the least let the villager flee the island in secret. Was Darius so strong and so powerfully horrifying to its own men that they constantly refuse to disobey him within any shape or form? Unfortunately... yes, he was... and Gordon has seen it all oh so many times. One example in particular that he was able to remember thanks to how horrifying that event was was once a woman in particular, named Jospehine, had tried to escape from Darius' playground by running away by the use of one of the windows of the casino. As a result, after jumping down from such a height, she had broken her legs and was unfortunately unable to escape the guards. After she was caught, she was then publicly humiliated by being forced to eat "The Prince's Punishment", which was basically a plate that you would normally give for pigs full of Darius' "poo-poo", and was then told that her only remaining salvation was to reach for the towers of stone. Yes... those very same towers of stone most drunkards were told to reach, which would eventually end up in them being killed and have their corpses hidden from the public eye forever. Josephine, at the mention of that, had cried in front of Darius' whole court, trying to get the Prince to keep her away from such punishment. The Prince had not listened to her and had told Gordon to lead her towards the towers anyway, though the right hand had found himself unable to do the deed correctly, mostly due to how hard she was trying to get away from him. Seeing Gordon having such difficulty, Darius had simply sighed, headed towards her, then literally grabbed her by the throat before literally doing the deed himself out of pure annoyance, throwing her against the towers so hard that her body was completely unrecognizable afterwards. Ever since then, the people of the island had taken this as a warning to those who ever wanted to disobey the Prince... and it was why Gordon, before meeting Leon, had deeply refused to ever act against him. As such, once Gordon heard Leon's words telling him that he had to cooperate with him as punishment for what he has done to those citizens, he would frown deeply, feeling that this was a tad little unfair thanks to everything he has just explained, then would sigh. "If this ends up in you and your comrades being slaughtered by this awful man... and if this leads to my family being executed right in front of my eyes... I will have no other person to blame but yourself." He would say within a grave tone of voice, then would head forward, passing Leon. "Follow me. I will tell you all about him during our travels towards his domain." As such, they would head towards the forest, actually heading onto a secret path that leaded towards the casino's very backdoor. In the meanwhile, the man explained everything and every single memories he had about Darius' deeds and skills, looking both serious and gloomy as he did so, wondering if this was really a good idea after all. |

"You'll have nothing to worry about when it comes to your family, because nobody is going to know ou helped us. You obviously won't tell anybody since its not exactly in your interest to do so ... and we --" Uriko said, finally stepping out of her hiding place. "You have a lot of work to do on the stealth and espionage aspect of things, Uriko. Anything?" Leon asked, the speech he would give her on such things for now suppressed by the current situation. What he was asking, however, was vital. "Nothing. Not a flicker, not a shake." she answered him. Though to Gordon it would sound as if she were referring to the surroundings, she was in fact speaking about Gordon himself. There was not a flicker in his eyes the whole time, not a moment she'd seen anything beyond his lazy, sad look. And, with the luxury she had of completely observing him neither had she seen any sign off of Gordon's body. The man really had been telling the truth. His family, his indifference at death itself ... "We'll follow as long as you keep talking. Quietly. I want to know everything ... don't worry. The more you inform us, the more likely it is I can crush him. And I promise, upon doing so, that I will return you safely to your family. I won't leave a single trace of his power or influence alive to stop you when I'm done. You will be safe." he told Gordon as they began their journey to who-knew-where. Uriko was following behind Leon; the man was trusting, too trusting of those with a sob story. Uriko, on the other hand, was ready to bring her hammer down on Gordon's head as hard as she could on a moment's notice. She was looking around, unsurprised at the lack of personnel here. After all, this murderer Gordon had come alone to do a dirty deed and it wasn't as if Darius Lockhart was the type to keep close watch on his surroundings; surroundings that weren't draped in light and riches, anyways. But, she and Leon had faced enemies with backup plan after backup plan before, and she therefore wasn't taking any chances. They neared the lights of the casino, the contrast to the darkness they came out of too striking to escape her notice, either. Leon was too absorbed now by Gordon's information. He was being vigilant, but his job was somewhat more complicated than hers, true, and she could see that all the variables were keeping his attention away from his surroundings. Infiltration is always easy .... but what comes next ... |

"I suppose you have already noticed the lights." Gordon would explain as they would start approaching the now-infamous casino that towered over the main village of the island, like it was specifically built by the Prince of the North to watch over every single person that inhabited the island on that little balcony that was placed on top of it all. The man would point out towards said balcony, then go on. "This is where Lockhart watches upon everybody on the island. Although he may not be there at the moment, he is often standing there and has made the public declaration to everybody in the castle that this was his very favorite area to stand upon, mostly because it made him feel like true royalty." He then sighed, shaking his head towards how inexplicably foolish that sounded, then went on with his explanations as they would approach the casino from the backdoor. "Considering that the lights are all on at all times, whether it is day or night, stealth is not an option. The sheer amount of guards present in the area will also not facilitate that option at all. Since only a full-blown assault is possible, let me give you a synopsis of the area." He put one finger in the air. "First, once we enter by the backdoor, we will find ourselves in the storage area. The storage area is where everything is stocked, ranging from pure treasures collected from raids and the casino machines themselves to the various collections of weapons and arsenals available on the black market at the moment. Usually, a sheer amount of guards protects this area due to its importance, though I suspect these guards are only but fodder. We will have no difficulty getting rid of them." We? Did that meant that Gordon was ready to fight them all of a sudden? Well... considering that he had to follow these two, he had probably guessed that he was going to end up in a horrible situation anyways even if he flees away from the island, so might as well fight back. Gordon then raised a second finger. "Second, once we are out of the storage room, we will be located in a very large stairwell with each of the doors present in it leading to the... Pleasure Rooms, as Lockhart calls them. You do not want to see what's behind those doors." He said, warning them greatly, then continued. "Two of these doors will be bigger than the others. One will lead to the main room where all of the casino machines are located and, therefore, Lockhart's little goons and some of the people of the island, whilst the second door, this one a pair, will lead to the Throne Room, which connects itself to the balcony. It is the highest room there is and it is where Lockhart usually is alongside Lucy, his second hand." He sighed. "Lucy... is the second person you must fear the most alongside him. She is a pleasure woman at best, though, believe me, she is almost as strong as he is. This woman is insane, pure and simple, and almost unpredictable. She has no Devil Fruit powers, just like Lockhart, but the weapons she uses... people say that their bullets causes nightmares to the people that are hit by them." Once they were finally close to the casino, he would stop both Uriko and Leon, frowning, then would point towards the door. Two guards were guarding them, though they both seemed like extremely easily-dispensable lackeys. Ironically, the both of them were sleeping. "Let me take care of this." He would say, then head forward towards the two guards. Suddenly, then, he would put his hands forward and two large chains would head forward and literally smash the two guards' heads like they were potatoes, making them squeal in their sleep, then slowly fall down on the ground as the chains then circled them both and chained them together. Huh... So Gordon was a chain-man... the eater of the Chain Chain Fruit. How intriguing. The man then turned his head towards Uriko and Leon. "They should not be able to wake any time soon. Let us move." |
