He has fair skin and a head of thick jet black dreadlocks neatly kept together than a piece of cloth that matches the color of his dazzling aqua green eyes. Clothing: Beckwell wears a dark green suit with the suit jacket – custom tailored for a Longarm – perpetually unbuttoned. Underneath the jacket, Beckwell wears a white dress shirt with an aqua green tie that matches his eye color. Accessories: Beckwell always has a pack of cigarettes and matches in his suit jacket pocket. Extra: Beckwell has a large black tattoo covering his back that reads 実 , meaning "truth" or "reality".
Personality Coming from a rather misfortuned background himself, Beckwell seeks to see the best in every individual – the "truth" that lies behind whatever walls they put up. He does so by being cordial and polite with anyone he has just met, regardless of their affiliation. He enjoys being social and taking time to just get to know an individual. Coming from an island in the Grand Line where the people more or less governed themselves and "convicted criminal" means little to nothing with their bizarre court ethic, Beckwell would not bat an eye upon meeting a person who was a wanted criminal in the rest of the world. As long as the person didn't immediately attempt to harm him or any innocents, Beckwell would just suppose let them go about their affairs.
Because of his career, Beckwell is an avid fighter. He enjoys the adrenaline of getting into combat with someone else who is powerful, but also sees that fighting doesn't have to come from a personal feud, being friends with most of those that he fights outside of the courtroom. Beating someone to unconsciousness can just be business. That being said, Beckwell usually grows to care for others more than himself and will always be quick to fight anyone who is toying with the safety of his friends.
History Spoiler: click to toggle Beckwell was born into the only Longarm Tribe family in Gyakuten Crossing. His mother passed during childbirth and his father simply did not have to mental aptitude to pass the bar exam, leaving him doing odd jobs around the entertainment sector for rather low income. Being in poverty and the only Longarm kid around made him an easy target for bullying, especially the children of renowned lawyers. Beckwell was like almost every other kid in Gyakuten Crossing; doe-eyed and fascinated with the law scene and eager to become a lawyer himself. He both studied and fought hard growing up, knowing that in Gyakuten Crossing's legal system it took both to be a capable lawyer. Rather than become a prosecutor like the majority of others and work directly for the government prosecuting "criminals", Beckwell decided to be one of the few defense attorneys who would fight to protect those who had wrongfully been arrested or tried. This ambition would take him right through to the bar exam, which he passed with flying colors. He promptly opened up his own firm, "Longarm Law Firm."
Over the next six years, Beckwell would become known as a very formidable defense attorney, and has since become one of the most popular attorneys in Gyakuten Crossing, though still not the best; a goal he still aspires to accomplish.

Log Pose Equipment Name: Log Pose Description: A compass-like navigational device; a necessity for traveling the Grand Line. It is a wrist watch with a glass orb sitting on top, and a needle floating inside the middle of that orb suspended from the top by a thin piece of metal or wire. Normal compasses don't work in the Grand Line due to the special magnetic waves created from each island. The Log Pose functions by recording the magnetic wave of an island in the Grand Line, and points to the next island for the user to travel to. How long it would take to lock onto the magnetic waves varies from island to island. Once on an island for the required amount of time, the recording of the magnetic wave resets to accommodate the new island. Apparently, the standard Log Pose doesn't work in the New World. When the character earns a trait point, they gain 1.5 trait points instead of the traditional 1. Fated acts as a banking system. These traits are usable whenever the taker sees fit. X does not have to be a whole number, and due to the nature of fated can be X or X.5 traits.
