A new day a new member of the family and it was time for Uncle Austins to bond with his newest member of the family. Eleanor, the daughter. After relieving her of that dastardly soul bound duty from the cafe. Dillon crumpled a flyer in his hands as he read the top line more clearly. There was an event going on down the road from where Dillon and his family was situated, where families could bring in their kids to spar in a dojo. Dillon thought he would take advantage of this situation to learn the power between the fists of his adoptive daughter. the dojo was ran by an old man who teaches karate for kids. He isn't the most popular dojo master on the block, but he is one of the few dojos willing to teach children. This event has a small beli prize to the winning child, which Dillon was planning to utilize for the purchase of a new ship for his children. He wandered down the street with a smile on his face as he looked down to Eleanor. "Alright Eleanor. I want to see how you manage yourself in a fight, and how much you've honed your art." Dillon said as he pulled the beli out of his pocket. "There's no better way to find out than to see it in a controlled environment after all, you're young and I don't want to push you so suddenly. And if you win we'll have enough to start thinking about buying a ship for your brothers and you." He pulled his gloves down so they were tighter against his paws. "And if anyone does manage to seriously hurt you, I'll pay them back with only the rage a parent could feel." He said with confidence as he saw the signs for the dojo. "Jeremies Karate For Kids." Dillon looked at the sign with an estranged eyebrow raising up. The place was rather run down, and was significantly smaller than the other dojos on the block, but it looked like the crowd piling up was rather large. It appears the prize money on the sign had an extra 0 on the board, and that attracted half the islands children to this small location. The Dojo master could be seen through a glass window barely, sweating profusely and worrying about how he was going to pay this new outrageous prize to the winner. It looked like he was talking to kids who looked auspiciously like him. "Second thought Eleanor dear." Dillon said crouching down to her eye level. "We're going to wipe the floor with these poor, uneducated children, and you're going to win an amazing prize." He said instilling her with confidence as he walked up to the registration table and handed her a clipboard. |

Dillon brought Eleanor down the road. Eleanor hummed as they walked. As they got closer to the destiation, the place became more familiar to Eleanor. After walking a while, they arrived at their destination. "Jeremies Karate for Kids." Eleanor had seen the place a few times, but never bothered to go there. She figured there was no other kids on the island that could beat her, even if it was ten against one. Eleanor just kept humming as Dillon brought her inside. Eleanor saw an old man talking to a few kids as he sweat, and a few other kids fighting. Eleanor smiled. They're all weak in Eleanor's eyes. The rest of the children were just loafing around, not caring and waiting for the competition to start. Dillon brought Eleanor to the registration table. Dillon said she's going to wipe the floor with them and win an amazing prize. Eleanor smiled. "I like prizes mister dad uncle!" she said to Dillon with a smile as he handed her a clipboard. She hummed to herself as she filled out the registration paper. Her handwriting was neat and elegant, nearly flawless. When she reached the section where had to list her hometown, Eleanor put her hands on her temple as she thought hard. After a short while, she smiled and nodded her head, writing "Karate Island" under hometown. She then finished the rest of the registration paper, and held the clipboard out to Dillon. "I finished the paper mister dad uncle!" Eleanor said with a smile. Edited by Smug God, Feb 12 2017, 07:01 PM.

Dillons excitement turned to a sort of troubled frown as he scratched his chin and looked up to the sky and he spoke up towards the sky. "Just Uncle is fine Eleanor." Dillon let out in an uncomfortable manner as he crouched back down with a big smile on his face again as he took the sheet that Eleanor filled out and reviewed it making sure her sign up was all good. He went ahead and signed his name to the document as her legal guardian, and put in the entrance fee for the tournament. "You're gunna win a crazy prize if you beat everyone in this tournament! It'll be great, and I'll be cheering you on the whole way!" Dillon said as he led the two of them inwards as the tournament was about to start. The bracket got up and there seemed to be a lot of contestants due to the engorged prize money at stake. Dillon took his seat and looked at the ongoings of the tournament it looks like the battles were sectioned off into six sections with an individual judge in each. The way you one was either knock out or point collection for registered hits within the allotted three minute time limit. Her first opponent was Ferdinand Gatlin, a local yellow belt in standard Karate, he was an underdog at the tournament with a hankering for cash, although as he entered the ring he was sure this was going to be a tough fight as Eleanor has made a name for herself on this island, and getting matched against her first round was definitely the sign of a frightening pool of tournament goers. |

Eleanor tiled her head to the side. She didn't know why Dillon was frowning. Eleanor liked to spread smiles, not frowns. "Okay mister uncle. I'm sorry if I made you sad." Eleanor forced a wide smile, trying to keep the day sunny. When Dillon returned to smiling, Eleanor's smile turned genuine. Dillon said he'll be cheering for her the whole way. "Okay mister uncle! I'll try my best!" Eleanor said with a big smile as she made her way to her section. Eleanor's first opponent Ferdinand Gatlin, some random yellow belt in standard karate. Someone of this level was child's play for Eleanor. Eleanor smiled and bowed, being very polite. "Good luck!" Eleanor said as she just stood there and smiled. She did not take any fighting position or form, she simply stood there and smiled. "YOU LOOKIN DOWN ON ME? I'LL SHOW YOU!!!" shouted Ferdinand as the ref gave the signal to start the fight. He ran at Eleanor with his arm pulled back. He threw a punch at Eleanor. Next thing everyone knew, he was on the ground. The thing is, he wasn't in the ring either. He was located in the audience, and was out cold. What had happened is Ferdinand had charged in and thrown a punch at Eleanor out of rage, which left him wide open. Eleanor then grabbed his arm and used his momentum and weight against him, combining that with her raw strength to toss him behind her and out of the ring. She accidentally used too much of her strength though. After the ref declared Eleanor the winner, she walked over to the now unconscious Ferdinand and placed a bandage on his face. "Are you okay mister yellow belt?" Eleanor asked Ferdinand. Since he was out cold, he was unable to reply. "Is he okay mister uncle?" Eleanor asked Dillon, who was also in the audience. Dillon sat back and decided he would try to enjoy this random display of physical prowess. After being a part of the horrible bloodbath that was Ja'Rooks slavery, he was not too keen on watching his much younger daughter partake in a physical competition, especially after seeing the intensity and terrifying murder that took place at the extreme end of fighting within the slave pits that his newest son was freed from. He waved at Eleanor and kept a big smile, knowing that she didn't like when people were sad. Just as the ref called the match to start, it was over in a heartbeat, as the child was sprawled out unconscious next to Dillon, nearly missing the boys parents who were sitting next to him. Dillon tapped his lip and looked down at the kid, he soon crossed his own arms in an X formation to the ref. He looked down to Eleanor who was putting a bandage on the boys head. "Mmm... No Eleanor, I think he's going to be going to the hospital for a concussion. But good fight sweety." Dillon said as the referee motioned for the next fight to start immediately. Eleanor was slated to fight against a Crane style black belt in her second round. The boy was named Derrick Matthews, a young stud of 14 who was a heart throb among the dojo class. He himself wasn't as cocky as his first boy in the fight, and was far more reserved. Although his strength was not as powerful, as the little girl he did hold a certain determination to win that money, as he was looking to get the money to help fund his fathers dojo, who had taught him his Crane style. |

Eleanor won her last fight with ease. Eleanor's raw power was just too much for the normal youths of karate town. She had placed a bandage on her previous opponent, thinking it would help, but he was sent to the hospital regardless. Eleanor figured she would dial back a bit on her strength in her next fight, so she wouldn't injure her opponent as badly. Her next opponent was Derrick Matthews, a 14 year old black belt who specialized in crane style. Eleanor entered the ring, as did her opponent. "Ohhh! You're a black belt! Does that mean you're stronger than mister yellow belt?" Eleanor asked with a smile. Derrick flipped his hair. "Well of course I am little one! Allow me to demonstrate!" He said as he charged towards Eleanor. His charge, however, was much different than the yellow belt's charge. His wasn't a reckless charge, he actually had a plan. He ducked low as he reached Eleanor and struck at her neck with his fingers extended, which crane practitioners called a "beak". Eleanor dodged this with ease, then threw a punch downwards towards her opponent. Derrick dodged Eleanor's punch, which resulted in her hitting the ground, leaving a dent in it. Eleanor was surprised, as she didn't mean to do this. "I'm sorry mister ref!" Eleanor said as she bowed her head towards the referee. Derrick took this chance to strike at Eleanor when she wasn't looking. He struck the side of Eleanor's head as she was bowing to the referee. This, however, didn't move Eleanor in the slightest. Derrick's strike had no power behind it, and thus wasn't very effective, if at all. Eleanor grabbed his arm and picked him up, not liking the fact he attacked her while she was apologizing to the referee. Derrick could faintly be heard muttering something before Eleanor slammed him against the ground, knocking him out cold. "Attacking people when they aren't looking is mean mister black belt!" Eleanor said to the now unconscious black belt. The referee declared Eleanor to be the winner of that fight. Eleanor walked over to Dillon. "I won again mister uncle! I'm gonna win the entire thing!" Eleanor said with a smile. Edited by Smug God, Feb 22 2017, 08:04 AM.

Dillon stood back with a concerned look. Not for his daughter. After seeing how she nearly murdered that poor boy from the last round, he was afraid of seeing the slaughter that was about to commence, and it seemed rightly so as he nearly ripped the kids arm off, lifting him up off the ground and slamming him onto the ground, causing him to instantly pass out. Dillon said under his breath. "Oh god, this is so one sided... Please don't kill anyone." He said very quietly to himself, almost praying that Eleanor would at least have an opponent who could take a hit soon, otherwise he would have the death of a child on his hands and that was too much for Dillon to bare. "Mmm yes, good job honey!" Dillon said rooting for his daughter with a sort of self retained fear that one of these kids might end up dying today. As Dillon clapped for his daughter with a big smile, he looked at the list. Since there were so many participants the next rounds were being held in a 4-way free for all, last man standing or most points after three minutes wins. This was the semi-finals, and then the six from all the separate sections of the bracket come together for a free for all 6-man clash. "You just have fun out there Eleanor! You can do it!" He said clapping. Her next opponents were... Unfair. To say the least. You see her first opponent was a large Mexican man with a very thin black mustache. His lips were pursed and his hair was covered by a bandana. On his shirt was the words "I am only 12 years old" on it. He was clearly a grown man... This must of been one of those cheap tricks the owner put into the mix of the tournament. He seemed to be a black belt in mat-wrestling. If anything he seemed like a teacher of mat-wrestling. The next opponent was a thin and very tall 12 year old girl, wearing hand-sized glasses, she had braces and everything, she was famous in a certain area of Karate Island and was actually one of Eleanor's acquaintances as she would frequent the cafe on her time off, she was a master of boxing, and has shown herself as capable of knocking out most thugs as well. Finally was a 10 year old pudgy boy, who was not entirely into the whole karate thing... But for some reason he got this far? He must have something dirty up his sleeve. |

Eleanor stood in the ring with her new opponents. "Why are you in this tournament mister old guy? I thought it was kids only." She said, pointing towards the mexican man who was obviously an adult. "I am 12." said the mexican man. "Here's my birth certificate." he said as he held out a piece of paper. It was a piece of paper with his face taped on it, and "I am 12" written in green crayon. It was obviously a fake, but Eleanor wasn't going to waste her time with it. She was planning on winning regardless. Eleanor readied herself as the referee held up his arms. "Fight!" He yelled as he backed up out of the ring. The nerdy boxer girl instantly charged the mexican guy. The mexican guy swung a fist at the nerdy boxer girl, but she was able to dodge using her knowledge and skills gained from boxing. That's when she punched the guy in the balls by accident, due to the height difference. The guy held his crotch as he hunched over in pain. The nerdy boxer girl shrugged her shoulders and pushed him out. It seemed like it was going to be left as a three way, but as soon as the nerdy boxer girl pushed the mexican man out of the ring, the young pudgy boy sneaked up behind the nerdy boxer girl and pushed her out of the ring simultaneously. The nerdy boxer girl was unable to regain her balance since she was already pushing the meixcan man at the time she got pushed, and she fell out of the ring. Eleanor stood there in amazement. it was like something out of a comedy movie. Now it was only down to two people. Eleanor and the pudgy kid. Eleanor started walking towards the pudgy kid, she didn't want to run and risk using too much power and injuring the kid. Once Eleanor was close enough to the pudgy kid for close quarters combat, the kid threw a punch at Eleanor. The hit landed and did absolutely nothing. This pudgy kid was too week, to an almost comical level. That's when the pudgy kid reached into his pocket. "POCKET SAND!!!!!!!!!" He yelled as he took sand from his pocket and threw it at Eleanor. Eleanor was caught by surprise so the sand managed to hit her eyes. Eleanor started rubbing her eyes, blinded. The sand seemed to be effective. It was now obvious why the pudgy kid had made it so far into the tournament, he had been using dirty tactics to win. "HA HA NOW I'M GOING TO WIN!" The pudgy kid said as he threw a punch at a now blinded Eleanor. His punch once again connected, but again did absolutely nothing. It was almost sad how weak this kid was. "Wait...what?" The pudgy kid asked, confused. "YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO LOSE NOW!" The pudgy kid yelled. That's when a punch connected with his stomach and he was sent flying out the dojo. Being blinded, Eleanor wasn't able to control the strength behind her punch. Luckily the kid just hit the ground and rolled a lot. He didn't crash into anything. This means he wasn't injured...that badly. The referee deemed Eleanor the winner. Eleanor just kept rubbing her eyes, trying to rid the temporary blindness that the sand brought her. It was good that two eliminated themselves before any significant damage was done to the arena or participants, but as soon as Dillon saw the sand hit his daughters eyes he shot up on the stands in anger, and looked over to a pair of fat parents whom he could only assume was the parent of that unruly child, as he dashed to grab an unopened bottle of water from the mans side he looked over to see the boy get launched out of the building. He quickly grabbed the water and retrieved a handkerchief from under his jacket and ran over to his daughter. "I got you Eleanor, head up now, keep your head up." Dillon said as he began to run water to flush out her eyes, while wiping it carefully out of her eyes. After wiping her eyes clean so she could see again he patted her on the back. "You did good out there, screw that kid." He said angrily as he stood up and tucked the kerchief back in his duster. "Knockem out missy!" Dillon said with a thumbs up as he looked over to the very angry dad of the porky man, attempting to move in on Dillon. Dillon wasn't having this bullshit, he walked over and headbutt the fat man straight to the ground, before readjusting his hat and sitting back down in his seat, reaching over to steal the fat mans popcorn, as his wife watch in horror. Dillon snarled at the woman as he smirked and looked back to his strong daughter. He watched as the next contestants all began to commune in the middle. It was a 6way KO only free for all. There was of course Eleanor. The dojo masters son was present as well, who was a master of karate for kids, and was almost as ripped as Eleanor. There was a young 15 year old upstart from the higher class area of wing chun, he was a very well versed individual and is making strides in his town. The other is an 8 year old boy who has done nothing but stamina training with his father since he was 2, so he tired most of his competition out. There was a 16 year old girl who was into kickboxing, getting ready to unleash a fury of fists towards the opponents. Then finally there was 13 year old boy who was just essentially so good at bullying it counts as a martial arts to him. Edited by Fresh, Feb 25 2017, 07:18 PM.

With Dillon's help, the temporary blindness caused by the sand from the last match had subsided. Now Eleanor needed to deal with the final match. The final match consisted of her and 5 others. Eleanor still was confident, as she was sure no one on the island was as strong as her. Eleanor was aggravated from the last match, so she was going to finish this match as fast as possible. The fighters got ready as the referee held his right arm up. "FIGHT!" He yelled as he threw his right arm down and backed out of the ring. Eleanor didn't want to waste any time on this, so she just started walking down the middle of the mat. The 13 year old bully charged at Eleanor, but was quickly thrown out of the ring by her. The 8 year old was just running around as the others fought. The wing chun kid and kickboxer girl were fighting each other. The dojo master's son approached Eleanor. "This isn't the little leagues anymore girl. Lets see how you handle a real fight!" He yelled as he threw a quick uppercut, catching Eleanor by surprise. "SHORYUKEN!" The dojo master's son yelled as the uppercut connected with Eleanor's chin. Eleanor was sent a few feet off the ground, and then landed on her back. Eleanor got back up. "Wow mister dojo master's son! You're stronger than the others! I'll try my hardest against you!" She said as she walked towards the dojo master's son. "I wouldn't have it any other way!" the dojo master's son yelled as he jumped at Eleanor with a spinning kick. "TATSUMAKI SENPUKYAKU!" he yelled. Eleanor held up her arms and blocked the spinning kicks. The dojo master's son didn't let his barrage stop there. "JOUDAN SOKUTOGERI!" He yelled as he threw out a powerful forward stepping side kick. Eleanor still had her arms up and blocked the hit, only this hit sent her skidding back a few feet. "HADOKEN!" Yelled the dojo master's son as he harnessed his willpower into energy and shot the energy at Eleanor as a projectile. Eleanor still had her arms up, and blocked it. "You're pretty good mister dojo master's son! My turn!" Eleanor said as she giggled, that's when Eleanor approached the dojo's master son with her arm pulled back. The dojo master's son held up his arms to defend. "SERIOUS PUNCH!" Eleanor shouted as loud as her gentle voice would allow, as she delivered a punch to the dojo master's son's defense that would send him flying out the ring, and through the wall of the dojo. "FATALITY!" The referee shouted from outside the ring. Eleanor turned around to fight the rest of the fighters, only to realize she was the only one left. The kickboxer girl and the wing chun fighter had knocked each other out, and the 8 year old boy had tripped and fell out of the ring while he was running around. The referee then deemed Eleanor the tournament champion. Some people cheered, while others were mad that Eleanor had entered and won. They shouted nonsense like "NOT MY CHAMPION!" and things along those lines. No matter how much they whined though, it wasn't going to change the fact that Eleanor was the champion. One guy in the stands could be heard yelling "BELIEVE IT!" continuously. Eleanor walked over to Dillon. "I DID IT MISTER UNCLE! I WON!" She told Dillon with a smile. Dillon winced at the amount of strange things happening in this tournament and decided it was a good thing that it had ended in such a fashion. He stood up and walked to the middle of the ring, patting Eleanor gently on her shoulder. "Nice work Eleanor dear." Dillon said congratulating his daughter as the crowd kept shouting a random series of horrible things to his daughter, and one man who was being far too energetic towards her. He took his gloves off revealing his paws and walked over to the dojo master who was very distraught at the loss, and came prepared just in case. Because this was an amount of beli that could ruin his very dojo. He brandished a knife and made way for Eleanor, but Dillon took a step in front of him and smiled brightly. "Hey there..." He said as the man stopped, wondering how he got in front of Eleanor so fast. Dillon stood there, leaning in to the mans face with a creepy smile, and his hands behind his back. "I'm Eleanor's dear father, please relieve the prize money to me, and we will be gone." He said with the same straight poker face. The man broke under the pressure though and attempted to stab the knife straight into the face of Dillon, but with an extended palm he tapped the knife with the pad on his left hand, causing the man to bounce backwards with the same force he stabbed with. "Yeah that's cute... Now give me the prize money please, this place is getting rather rowdy!" He said happily as he turned his head to notice the crowd starting a rather powerful mosh of anger, heading towards the father and daughter, as they were the clearly and most obviously cheating, there must of been some secret to Eleanor's strength that constituted as being an unfair advantage, and thus they shouldn't get the money. That was what the crowd was thinking as they began to flood into the ring. Dillon forced his hand down the mans pocket and pulled out a rather large wallet, he pulled out just as much as he needed as the crowd began to surround them and ensue into a chaos, swinging at eachother. With one toss of the wallet on the floor, and quickly grabbing Eleanors hand, they had poofed to the front door. "You did great dear." He said leaning down and wiping some dirt off her cheek with his thumb. "Now lets go get some victory ice cream, and put this whole dirty matter behind us. Fighting is such a harsh outcome." He said as he walked with his daughter. The ensuing chaos in the dojo behind them turning to the worse as the building began to collapse under the mob mosh pitting inside. -end- |
