"Step right up get your tickets while you can!" shouted an oddly dressed man. He was probably around somewhere in his late 30s and sporting a very monocolored orange outfit. The only thing sticking out about it was the unusually tall top hat. "Get ya tickets, they're a hot commodity ya know. See the fight of a lifetime for only a few Beli! You never know when fighters like these will be available for your viewing pleasure again!." A shadow was beginning to fall across the ground as the sun sank, giving a small illusion to the Karate Arena that towered over everything else. Everyone in the crowds just seemed to phase around the man as if he weren't even there. Occasionally a few people would stop to grab some tickets and then make their way into the Karate Arena. As they made their way into the Karate Arena they would happen to run into another man similar in attire as the loud one, but yellow in color. "Hurry up go in this way, gimme those tickets and get your asses in!." he repeated constantly as he motioned to a side door leading to stairs away from the formal entrance.

Ja'rook banged his head against the steel bars that kept him confined. Nothing could pierce the roars of the crowd as the people filed to their seats, one could hardly think to themselves. Judging from the number of people who had filled the underground arena you knew tonight was going to be a good turnout. Various cheers and boos could be heard as a loudspeaker den den mushy began to announce "Welcome ladies and gentleman to the Fighting Pits! Tonight we have quite the lineup and you will be sure to receive your money's worth!" As the snail rambled through the list, silence overtook the arena " WILL THE INFAMOUS JA'ROOK CONTINUE HIS UNDEFEATED STREAK OR WILL HE FINALLY SUFFER DEFAT!" The crowd goes wild!

A third man similar in attire to his friends, but a blue gent was pacing in front of the cages.
"Now we expect you to give these people a show! These people paid good money to see your blood being spilled and you're going to honor it. Remember your lives are on the line tonight whether you chose to win or lose there will be consequences." he said in an evil tone making sure to stare down every caged man. These encouraging words, if that's what you want to call them were met with not only curses, but odd amounts of bodily fluids, and angered hits on their cages. Ja'rook sat calmly in the back of his cage returning the gaze "Me fight, me win."

Day two of searching for this damn cafe that's in the newspaper. Two days of wandering around with his family, it wasn't that bad. They were here on vacation after all, a nice little start to their family get-togethers around the world. He had read of a cafe somewhere on this island that was extremely popular and famous for its cakes, but he seems to have messed up the directions in a very bad manner. You see Dillon has an issue with reading directions. When something says go left he attempts to analyze how "left" he needs to go, and if something, like in this flier in the paper, were to say turn left at rosemary, with no capitalization on the "R" of rosemary, he turns left at the first sight of the flower rosemary, and not the street. This has caused him many issues in the past, and he's glad to have a younger more intelligent generation help him with his quarrelsome problem.

Dillon meandered into the bad part of town this time, and he could hear the ramblings of a ticket-man in front of a large dojo. "Ooooooh no what did I do this time." Dillon said letting out a deep sigh as he then breathed in deep and scratched the gruff of his five o'clock shadow. "Gahhh. Shit fine." He said to himself, his curiosity peaked. His hand wandered to his neck as he took off his gloves and tossed them in his pockets. Paw's out. He glanced back to his adoptive son, Lancia, who was with him. "This is gunna be strange and sudden but you'll be up there at the top of the stairs past the ticket checker." He stated as he tapped his paw against Lancia's neck, rejecting him to the top of the stops, Dillon soon popping up near him. "Fighting pits?" Dillon said with a grimace as he wandered his way to a front row seat, pushing people aside, and making sure to shoo someone sitting so his son could have a seat with him.

"These things are terrifying, there used to be poor fights back on Bijotsu, way in the deep of the coal mines. Sometimes kids... Good kids died in that mine... Sometimes it wasn't always because of the fighting... But. I digress. I hate these things..." He said with a sad outlook as he watched the area where the fighting would take place. "What's your opinion on this harsh lifestyle Lancia? I'd very much like to know." Dillon stated as he leaned back in his chair, letting the waft of man-sweat and ill-reserved hype fill the room.

It was another pleasant day on this peculiar Island, and this time Lancia decided to tag along with Dillon to better scope out this so called cake shop, although it was probably just because Dillon had a pretty bad sense of direction. Either way, he enjoyed the company, and he didn't mind being taken to weird places if it meant tagging along with his old man. This whimsical nature did mean that Lancia was pretty useless in his role as a directional guide, however.

Before the pair knew what was what, they ended up in a rather shoddy part of town, something which made the man tilt his head in confusion as a rather obnoxious sounding ticket man could be heard yammering on just ahead of them. He figured since there must have been a show going on somewhere, but before he could think on it longer, the old man said a few words and pat him on the neck. In an instant, he felt his surroundings blur past him before he stopped right by the top of the stairs. Gasping out, the man nearly fell down the stairs again before regaining his footing. "H-how did we get here...was this your magi-no, your fruit power, Dillon?!", He hissed silently at the man who appeared a second after he did, quite clearly flabbergasted by what he just did.

After calling himself down and taking his seat, the young man took a good hard look at the sight before him, instantly confirming the suspicions he had as the old man started to describe it in detail. One would have thought that the sight of cheering crowds and a stadium would have sparked fire in his heart, since it was what he lived for, but the grimace he bore said otherwise. Dillon was quite keen on knowing what he thought of it, but honestly, Lancia didn't really know how to put this lightly. "It's barbaric", He spoke bluntly, keeping his arms folded as he looked on in disdain. "I entertain because I choose to, while these pour souls are forced to do this just to survive...freedom is the right of every person, so this is just...awful", He spoke solemnly. As flamboyant and showy as he was, he was a man with a heart of gold, after all.

They always saved the best for last, as an hour had passed and plenty of simple fights had come to an end. Most of the fights were between ordinary humans geared up to make them look intimidating while they were pretty equal on strength levels. As the last body was dragged from the arena a few very bright lights lit up the ceiling. A cable dropped from an open gate in the ceiling lowering the gent in all blue as the lights followed. "Ladies and gentleman are you ready for your main event? Tonight we have quite the show prepared for youuu! A battle of the besties, in this corner you have a nasty fishman" he said in his best clear announcer voice pointing to one corner of the cage. A small 4 foot enraged piranha fishman stood biting at nothing in the air, it was obvious the solitude and fighting drove him mad. "And in this corner, you have your undefeated beast Ja'roooooooooooooooooook!" The crowd lost it as the man pointed to the opposite end of the arena and one of the bright lights flashed to reveal Ja'rook.

Raising Bītingu to the sky Ja'rook roared "WINNNN" as loud as possible as he began to charge at the fishman. He knew in his mind that no matter what he had to live and that the piranha has no chance against him. He brought Bītingu down with massive force at the fishman nearly hitting the blue gent before connecting. From afar it would be hard to see, but the piranha's skull sank into its shoulders after receiving the blow. Grabbing the piranha by its now barely existing neck Ja'rook rose the body into the air, before punching it as hard as he could. The force of his fist caused blood to fly all over the crowd from the piranha's mouth. With that single arm, he then threw the body at the crowd and yelled out a second "WINNNNNN."

Dillon sat and watched uncomfortably out of pure human curiosity. He was disgusted by the terrible acts going on in this dojo and felt himself growing worse and worse off the more he watched. But he felt like it was destiny that he sit here and watch and by the time the main event hit he knew why he was sitting in this seat at this moment. He tapped Lancia's forearm with his knuckles lightly. "It's time we end this barbarous and heinous show. I won't stand for it." He said as he took off his gloves he was getting very serious. "My devil fruit power allows me to reject things that touch my palms. We're about to reject the main event. Look at the pain in that poor mans eyes." He said pointing to Ja'Rook as he shouted his winning catchphrase. "Feel the guttural hurls from his soul! If we don't put an end to it no one will!" Dillon shouted as he hurled himself above the guard rail to the fight pit.

"ITS OVER! ITS ALL OVER!" He shouted towards the crowd. "I WONT HAVE IT, I'M SHUTTING YOU DOWN!" Dillon screamed as he thrust his finger down to the ground. "Son, corral these immoral cucks out of our dojo!" Dillon spit through gritted teeth. He turned around to look at the horned man. "No more winning champ. You don't need to win to survive. I want to help! HELP!" He screamed in a simplistic manner towards Ja'Rook. "ME HELP YOU!" Dillon said as he raised his left hand to about chest level, keeping an open palm while he completely dropped his right arm and let it hang, this was his stance and he would use it to subdue the beast's pain, to bring him back to a state of humane nature were he to perceive Dillon as an enemy. The crowd was going crazy at the sudden turn of events and it was causing a stir, bodyguards from the top ranks were unable to get to ground level from the ongoing crowd scurry around the seating area.

The pit fell silent with tension as Dillon awaited the worst to happen, his analysis concluding that this was both a bold and overall stupid plan, but with the assistance of Lancia he was sure he would get out at least in good spirits. He put a lot of trust into his boy to run damage control on the outside. Dillon and Lancia were good people at heart, so hurting was not second nature. "Show them what real entertainment is." Dillon muttered to Lancia, under his breath, in a show of confidence in his abilities. Dillon stared intensely into Ja'Rook's eyes awaiting some sign.

As the man sat and watched the gruesome events unfold, he felt his hands grow cold as his face turned visibly blue with disgust, being completely unable to acknowledge this grim slaughter as entertainment. The wails of those men as they were silenced would probably go on to haunt his nightmares for many moons after today. Every ounce of his being had wanted to put a stop to this madness, and had it not been for Dillon's signal, he would have most likely stormed the stage himself.

He could see the pain in that horned mans eyes, and how he detested what he had to do simply to survive, though of course he definitely pitied that poor fishman as well. Hopefully by the end of today, he and every other fallen man would know vengeance, for at least right now, they can know rest. "I'm with you! We will not let this barbarism go unpunished!", He howled, following his old man as he leaped over the guard rail and onto the fighting grounds.

The stench of blood was still fresh, making the man grunt out in anger as he pulled out his spear and grasped it firmly, looking quite eager to stick it into one of those foolish ringleaders. He glanced at his old man as he tried to make contact to the hulking man, being somewhat fearful for him since he knew what he did to that other creature. Still, he trusted Dillon's judgement, and after being left in charge of clearing the stadium and making sure no one interrupted him, how could he refuse? "On my honour, I will not let them reach you!", He roared, twirling his spear overhead before slamming it on the ground in front of him, making a rather heavy thudding sound as the panicking crowds all took notice of the excessively large man.

"Get out of here! Or taste my spear! Clear the area NOW!", he boomed, looking more like a feral beast than a man as his own anger got the best of him. The pampered, immoral onlookers certainly wanted none of that, and tried to clear out in much more unruly manner than before, making it even harder for the guards to break through. The first guard to break through was already winded from having to avoid being stepped on, so it was only appropriate that he went down after a hard kick from the gargantuan man, not even having to taste his spear. "I hope you know what you're doing, Dillon!", He exclaimed, turning to him for a moment just to make sure he didn't get his head smashed in already.

The crowd showered out of the doors upon the breaking entrance of Lancia and his Uncle, both outside and inside the ring respectfully. "Lancia! You handle everyone up top, I'll meet you at the hotel!" Dillon said as he exposed his palm to the body of Ja'Rook, slamming his palm gently into his chest as he teleported him up and out a window on the top floor that he had full view of. With another push from himself this time he was with Ja'Rook at the window and swiped downward at him, placing him gently on the ground outside the tournament area. He went back into the ring, a bit dizzy, but determined to free these people. As he rush into the depths, pushing bars out of the way with his palms, he was able to free the 4 competitors that were slated for a future fight. He ran past the guards who were attempting to prod the slaves back into their cages, slapping them violently into the walls. Maybe those ringleaders were within the slaps that he had produced, but he was unaware.

As he got all of the slaves out he noticed that one of the ringleaders was peeking out the window with anger clearly visible in his face. The only thing he saw after that however was grass, for Dillon had shuffled all of the slaves to a safe location, far away from the dojo, he himself brought Ja'Rook to the hotel, as to try and assist this man who has clearly seen hell and back. Surely those ringleaders would come back to bite him in the ass later. But what was important now was these people were safe. He expected to see Lancia within the minute as he took a while to free those slaves.

(OOC: I'm going to be leaving our meeting vague, and we can Flashback Ja'Rook and Dillon joining the family. Also the ringleaders are still able to come back from this post. We're going to end the thread though, so we can free up our spots again til you get back :) )

Dillon's words echoed through the resolute mans mind as he gripped tightly against his spear, his eyes filled with sheer drive as he glared at anyone that made a sudden move. Within view, the old man and the muscular short-stack disappeared, presumably using the same power that he had seen before. With the crowds all flocking out the door and treading all over the shaken guards, it didn't seem like there was much else to do here except flee as well.

Lancia couldn't help but sigh a bit, since it seemed like he couldn't go all out this time. "How disappointing...Jeez, that old man could have just teleported me out of here if it was going to end like this", He complained, resting his spear against his shoulder as he calmly walked to the exit. The mere sight of him approaching them of course made them flee that much harder, until soon the corridors were filled with trampled guards and discarded tickets. Man, people were so untidy.

The absurdly tall man made sure not to tread on any of those poor souls, thinking they had enough punishment for one day, despite the fact that they were working for slave owners, he didn't have the cowardice to stomp them while they were done, besides, he could understand doing desperate things just to get paid a good wage, and the guard business was pretty good...well, mostly good. Upon reaching outside, the daylight hit him harshly, forcing him to shield his eyes with his large hand. Sure enough, once it became easier to see, it seemed like everyone had vanished, hell, even the ringleaders were no where to be seen.

"Ah yeah, Dillon told me to meet him at a hotel...but I wonder if I can find a good place to get a drink?", He sighed, stretching his back a bit and groaning.
