Akusei is a light-skinned male human who stands at 5'11. His light skin tone in question is a bit darker but has pale highlights to the tone. He has a more lean build to his body speaking in it's shape. Speaking on his musculature, he is best described as an athletic build with good, noticeable definition to him. His body itself is kept clean-shaven save the dark hair on his head. He does however have old scars and damage marks along his body and face, though they seem to be different from time to time as they heal and new ones are layered on. It hasn't lead to his skin having the softest feeling to it, in possession of a rougher feel overall. He has squarish facial features with his chin and jawline, with a triangular shape to his nose. He has short, round ears and narrow grey eyes with short, black eyebrows. His hair is kept short with enough length to spike back and upwards, normally leaning to the left slightly.

The man's attire is typically seen as pretty average for all things considered. For his upper body, he normally sports black t-shirts with a slight looseness to them so that they don't cling to his body too much. Sometimes over this he'll wear a dark-colored hooded sweater with a zipper, sleeves rolled up back. Sometimes he may simply wear no top at all, he isn't exactly the type to put much effort into that. For his lower body, in terms of underwear he prefers it tighter so that it holds everything in place while he's moving and in darker colors. For pants, he usually runs jeans or sweatpants. For jeans, blue or black, occasionally ripped legs or knees with a tighter fit around the waist and looser near the cuffs of the legs. Sweatpants are usually looser for him and bunch up around the cuff of the leg for him. For footwear, simple black and white sneakers with red laces tied into them. The real standing point that is almost always consistent is the mask Akusei wears. It is a mask based around a fox; with two white with red pointed ears around the upper portion, dark blue closed eyes with 3 small red magatama above each one, three lines on each side of the cheeks to represent whiskers, a bump over his nose and mouth to create better breathing space, a small dark triangular nose, a red smile running along the lower portion with two larger oval-shaped adding to it, a large dark blue marking on the forehead and three claw-like marks on the chin.

Personality
Spoiler: click to toggle
Despite almost permanently wearing a mask over his face, the man known as Akusei puts up an act of playing a curious and docile fool in the presence of others even with a strong silent demeanor and presence he might give off otherwise. When he's putting on these airs, the boy is fairly energetic and enjoying poking fun at others or playing around with them, even if it's in the heat of battle. He plays up being naive and having a lack of understanding of those around him, playing the fool so to speak and trying to deceive those around him from understanding his own personal objectives and giving them a concept of his character that they can objectively enjoy. But under that mask he never betrays how he really feels, his expression blank even if it seems like it should be something else. It's only an act, a clever act by a man wearing a fox mask trying to make it in the world. His words aren't so carefully selected either, as he might openly mock someone without a second thought or mourn them if they take a hit from a powerful attack that would normally kill someone. Of course, there are times when his act might falter, such as if something he simply wasn't expecting was to happen. This act of course, despite being something he normally puts on around others is something he puts on because he wants to. He doesn't want people to see him for what he really is and wants to make people smile and not frown when they see him if he knows them and likes them.
Not taking in account his act from above, Akusei is a man who has no side in the world. He sees the blurred lines of morality for what they are, and the crimes each side can commit or turn a blind eye to as the days go by. He sees little justice in the agents of the World Government, nothing more than petty thieves in the pirates that roam the seas. Fails to see the point of a revolution to a world so numb to it's own flaws. There is no side in such a world that Akusei would ever willingly count himself among, excluding alliances formed out of deals he makes or friendships he forges. This opinion on morality extends to his own morality. Though he is perfectly willingly to help every person he comes across, he knows that doing so will bring no good. If he helps a poor beggar, does that really help him if others see your charitable action and lash out against him in frustration? Or if he threatened to kill someone, how that would translate in the future. He thinks hard about the actions and paths he can walk, wondering just how far the shadow of his action will carry on through others. How far his action will echo across the world if he takes even a single step down a path he isn't sure of. Thus Enko is a tricky sort, one who knows well the dangers of giving into his passion or charitable nature and losing himself to them. He does not seek to be a slave of his own emotions or those of others. He is an agent of his own fate.
Alliances are something Akusei likes. Out of a sense for survival for a man who sees no side as his own, these alliances can be a saving grace for him. Some might be forged for a safe haven, others for monetary gain so that he may eat. He isn't afraid to form an alliance with an enemy in the heat of battle if a much larger threat poses an issue and both parties are targeted by it. But he is sly, much like a snake that waits to pounce on it's prey he will not show hesitation or grace to those he formed an alliance with once their task is complete. Make no mistake that he is not beholden to have lasting loyalty for you once he does as the initial deal decrees. Anything further must be dealt out again.
In a sense of combat and warfare, Akusei seeks preferences in playing with his opponent not out of disrespect but to gain an understanding of them. To comprehend what drives them and just who they are. Fighting, conflict is what keeps one in power from stagnating and collapsing on themselves. He isn't above causing harm or injury, even death isn't something he wouldn't think twice on if he had to deliver it to someone. But he is equally able to fight back seriously, to examine the battlefield as things go and pick his targets with precision and priority. He knows that to truly stop a force, you must target those capable of medical feats or healing wounds. Then those who can leader, who inspire and provide moral are next is possible. After all if you cut off the head the body will panic. That all being stated, Akusei doesn't seem to enjoy killing. It's a tool to him above all else, nothing more and nothing less. It's always the long-term for Akusei, and he will never kill someone who still holds value in this world. Never.
In personal outings, the man displays more clever and analytic traits. He'll observe closely, taking mental notes and make attempts to strike curiosity in those whom he comes across. Never revealing all his cards, always holding caution within close reach as he takes each step forward. His stoic, calm and level-headed self is a stark contrast to how he acts, and even he knows full well that it's weird to think he can act like that. Despite what seems cruelty, he still holds compassion and empathy within himself as his idea of virtues, though rarely would he put those into practice. Though he is gentle in his actions and with words he'll utilize, one should never mistake what the man says. Never mistake that his mercy is one where you live. Never mistake that his respect means he likes you. Never mistake that his loyalty is easily shattered. Never mistake that his love means you hold power over him.
History

The Seikatsu Clan of the Wano Country was more than just the lone survivor of Akusei as it is today. The small clan was once known throughout the lands for their powerful, dangerous alchemical knowledge and skill. A clan of medical experts who knew how to tear apart the body with toxin along, who acted as freelance assassins for the other clans of Wano. In truth, the heads of the Seikatsu sought the power of leading the country from the shadows, something that saw the entire clan decimated within a single night due to a violent outbreak of their own creation claiming almost every single one of them. Akusei was lucky, as the youth was with his parents traveling abroad to collect ingredients for a new toxin they were seeking to develop. Oh yes, lucky to have been spared from the outbreak but not the assassins sent to finish the job. They didn't escape, no the parents fell and the child. He killed as he was taught. No hesitation in the face of potential death.
Without his parents, he was somewhat sad. But he sought to strive forward to survive. He would live off the land as he could, living out of an old abandoned house that still by some luck had functioning utilities. He later learned that the island he was on was known as Wild Island, and that there were other humans here. He had trouble with them, as they frequently assumed that the young boy was one of those who had been consumed. This was because he had been found by them one day, having killed a group of pirates who had been driven insane by the very forest while wearing a fox mask. They nicknamed him Fox Mask, and opted to avoid him. He didn't mind, it was less people that he would have to deal with. But that didn't stop pirates from stumbling upon his home and thinking it abandoned. Only to find the young male wearing a fox mask and wielding a sword. And the young man would find himself digging graves and burning bodies. He never went against the forest, he used resources and made efforts to replace what he took when he could. The only time he struggled with it was when he killed others.
The young man eventually set off, deciding that there was a time and place for him to laze around. During his small travels, taking in some places around the Blues he came to understand his current ideology on morality. He seen what those with power chose to squander or waste it on, and how those who constantly provided charity and kindness to others brought themselves lower and paid the price. He decided that even if he wanted to change it, he wouldn't. He'd find the wind that pushes the windmill, and he'd wait to see just where the win would push it. Push them all.
