Physical DescriptionSummus is rather short, standing only 4'0" tall, and she has a rather frail looking body, thin and not very muscular looking, but this is because she is covered from head to toe in a hard exoskeleton that protects her that is purple in color, her flesh is of a light red, almost bordering on a dark pink, she also takes after her "mother" hair color wise and she wears it loose with no real attempt to style it,, her arms end in small claws for fingers as well as massive arm scythes that she can fold back to use her hands, the blades of the scythes being a light purple in color, her eyes are large and multifaceted, as well as a bright green in color, she has a small nose that actually is kinda cute, and her mouth is more human like then insect like, however her teeth are not human they are like her ripper ancestry sharp and made for rending and tearing.

Clothing:She tends to not like clothing, her carapace covering her body completely anyway, though when forced to she will only wear a lab coat like her "Mother" likes to wear

Accessories:A necklace that her "Mother" made for her that says "Test-01" that looks like a gear

Extra:she has bio-cannons on her shoulders. she also has a pair of wings that allow her to extend her jumps and fly which are a light green in color, as well as web-spinners, and a stinging tail

Personality
Summus is extremely loyal to her "Mother" Seeing her still as her queen and the one who gave her life and meaning, she would never turn on her and never think to betray her for anyone, she is however very innocent, her simply mind still forming and adapting to the new form and abilities she has, making her quite curious about everything, in a more feral way then one would expect, due to her genetic code she tends to test things first with her mouth before anything else.

When not feeling threatened or feeling like her "Mother" is threatened she is a very kind and nice individual, though she is confused by a lot of things that most take for granted, this is again due to her once simple mind having grown and learning about all this new information that she never had to think about before, but she has a great capacity for learning as she does have her mothers innate intelligence, but she is building from the base of a Ripper which are very simply minded.

As far as things go she is innocent and kind when not feeling threatened, often snuggling up to people that show her kindness, showing affection in a rather feral manner, however she is smart enough to know when she is being lied to, or someone is being sarcastic to her, she is simple and innocent, not stupid.

Like her mother she shows a great ability to adapt, shown how she still has the mold-able part of her DNA, allowing her to "evolve" taking the time to learn and adapt to things that are encountered.

History
Summus was actually a mutational quirk in the creation process of a normal Ripper, rather then hatching immediately the egg continued to gestate and grow, the elasticity of the organ that produced the living ammo was such that Nola didn't notice till the time came for the egg to come out, and even then it was still barely larger then any of the other ammo, but the organ worked it out of one of the bio-cannons and allowed it to simply roll out, the hard shell protecting it from impact.

It then started to rapidly mature and grow, eventually hatching into the fully grown and matured Summus, four feet of Enlarged Ripper DNA mixed with Nola's DNA to give her a daughter, and while she was at first simple minded she was also quite different, having the same inherent abilities as her mother, as her DNA was saturated with all the mixed things that she had added to herself, they came as Natural in this new daughter, thought she still needed to learn how to use them. Though once she had hatched she did try to do the normal function of her DNA base of a Ripper, and started to eat things that where all around to gather resources for her Hive and Mother.

She seemed to posses an after affect of Nola's Genetic Tampering, making her DNA and body highly mutational, allowing her to evolve and Adapt as she needs to fit a situation, though any additions seem to be temporary to an extent unless properly nurtured and grown.

Though after some time and a lot of talking to from her Hive and Mother Summus stopped and listened, she was being given instructions, important instructions, she was apparently different then her other Ripper siblings, she was larger, stronger, and she looked more like Mother then her siblings, it seemed her mother wanted to keep her around longer then the normal lifespan of her kind, and in fact, she could feel she was different, not just in looks and size, maybe she was made to help protect her hive and mother? if so then mother made her specially for that, it made perfect sense to her, and so she simply accepted her new life, after all if her queen, hive, and mother needed her, why shouldn't she stay? why should she complain? she had everything she needed really.

Ok this is just me but I think some of the natural weapons you’ve taken are a little… unnnatural. The race of your NPC is Arian which is basically an insect version of a mink. You’d have natural weapons similar to that of your insect type which would be things such as:

Stinger Tail and its poison
Insect Wings
Scything Claws
Web Spinners
Adapted Lungs

I personally don’t think things that are more or less bio-mods from the NPC’s owner would count as natural weapons. There is a reason they cost a large amount of beli, its because of their strength. These would be the following:

Bio-Cannons
Bio-ammo production organ
Mutation Genome

There are two different natural weapons I think you could keep if they are tweaked to be less broad in power and more focused.

Examples:
Chemical Sac – Focusing on just spitting venom/acid rather than three different elements/chemicals
Resistant Body – Grants resistance to a single element/chemical rather than 5.

well the other half of her is Nola and if you look at her she has those on her body, so wouldn't that make them natural for her kind? she is also based on a Ripper, which is also a type of creature that Nola made for herself as a type of living ammunition/resource collection o3o

If those bio mod's are natural for her race which obviously isn't Arian at all, but Ripper like you said. I'd say it get run through customs like most custom races.

Seeing as this is supposed to be part of the "Ripper" species, I'd say you need to make Rippers an approved insect race first. I noticed that your Ripper species is currently being made, so I will wait for that to be completed and approved first before checking this character any further.

I still personally do not agree with the bio-mods being natural weapons for any reason. I get that your monster is a part of your character through her DNA or whatever it is, but the bio-mods were spliced onto Nola rather than being something that was genetic. Passing her genes to something else wouldn't do that in my opinion. It'd be like saying a Cyborg's child would come out with mechanical parts just because the mother or father has cyborg parts.

Hopefully soon, the changes to the biomod system will be posted up to help streamline bio-mods as a whole.

to be fair the mutational genome is now a dangerous ability so I don't see the issue with that one.

as for the cannons and ammo I apparently can't get those priced till the bio-mod stuff is finalized so really the ball is in the staffs court on that one o3o

I'm going to have to ask that the chemical spray as its based off a bombardier beetle only uses the hot acid portion as that is simply too many effects for a single weapon to reasonably have. I also can't find evidence of the fire bit at all through this beetle. The same story goes for the resistance though I'm willing to let you keep both acid and poison on that one. The rest will have to be purchased through biomods. Thank you for your attention.

I meant more that she couldn't control it because it was more like the bombadeir beetle.

not that the whole thing was based off it,

if I spent more traits on natural weapon could I increase the amount of effects from the chem sac?

As for the resistance, I have no problem with that but again can I increase the amount of resistances by using more traits of natural weapon?

also I would like to remind you that this is a monster not a arian anymore meaning I don't HAVE to base them on an insect any longer as monsters don't have to follow the normal rules for what is "natural" if I recall correctly

also since it's a strong can't I keep to effects on the chem sac?

In all honesty your chem sac is a dangerous ability, not a strong one, so I don't think it's fine the way it is.

As for you being able to pump more traits into it to make it viable to do, I mean, you would need to create another trait to make that so, like a 2-3 trait version for strong/dangerous natural weaponry, as you were the one who even made that trait in the first place.

also as to what Scarlet said, that's why I asked if I could say take Natural weapon trait again and just use it to get another element added to the sac or the resistance o3o? basically using it to upgrade the natural weapon o3o
