Emmy had met up with Paya a day ago and they used the ship she had a made for herself. She didn’t have a proper bed for Paya to fit in yet so she was forced to think of something on the fly. She had laid out a few sleeping bags in different spots for Paya to use as a makeshift bed in one of the rooms. Emmy however too to messing with Felix by letting him share in sleeping in her bed.

However right now the girl was below deck as she was attempting to navigate them to United States of Teriyaki, however what she didn’t know is she was reading the compass wrong and they actually had a heading for Hungova Island. The girl wanted to see some of the island’s in North Blue before moving on, but she was honestly assuming that they should have picked up one of those log pose things sooner rather than later. She had heard from people in the port of Candyland that you could purchase them on this island but she didn’t know exactly how true that was.

Sitting on a bench that was near the ship’s wheel, Emmy stretched her arms over her head slightly exhausted. Messing with all the parts of a ship was honestly a bit harder than she had realized… she was expecting this to be easy but… it really wasn’t a cake walk.

As the young Captain had sat cross legged on the main deck of their brand new ship, he had a lot to appreciate, and a lot to reminisce about. It's only been under a month since he's set out on his quest to see the world, and already he had himself an amazing ship and two wonderful crew members to share in the good times with. He had not even seen most of the world, and already there were things that startled and amazed him. He still had not completely gotten over how tall their newest recruit was, as well as how shark like she looked. She did seem nice overall, and quite frankly, with the combined intimidation of both the girl who looked like a serial killer and the giant, they were off to a great start.

Tilting his head to the side, he began to wonder where everyone else was. He was sure Papaya was still sleeping away, but the fear of seeing her snore with her eyes open was more than enough for him to not want to check. That of course left Emmy, and with haste, he clambered to his feet and went to look for her. Even walking along the finely refurbished wood of the deck was enough to excite him, and there was still so much he wanted to do with that ship of theirs, but of course, he couldn't do it without Emmy.

"Emmy, you in here?", he called out, randomly popping his head into the steering room, before catching sight of the mildly exhausted woman who had her feet up. With a brimming smile, he let himself in and began to whistle innocently, thinking of how best he could broach the subject of letting her give him permission to test the cannons out. "Soooo. Where are we headed to next, Navigator?", he spoke in a teasing manner, having learned the art from Emmy herself, though his technique was still child like and innocent, without any real teasing behind it.

The girl looked over everything as she stood up stretching her arms as her captain walked in the room. The girl smiled at him with her eyes still looking rather exhausted, per the norm, as he called her their Navigator. She shook her head no, “I’m here but I’m not a real navigator.” The girl said as she sat on the edge of table looking at him closely. He was talking in a more teasing tone than back on the island now. Was he in a good mood? Maybe he had learned to not be so scared of her when they spoke.

“If I have us on the right track… we are heading for the United States of Teriyaki. I think that’s what the island is called.” The girl commented as she crossed her legs as she leaned back on the table. “Honestly… navigating isn’t my thing… It’s a bit more rough than I had expected it to be.” The girl explained as she tilted her head side to side, trying to get the stiffness out of it.

“I didn’t bother you last night did I?” The girl asked curious if her cuddling him again was a bother.

Felix was in a surprisingly good mood, but then who wouldn't be after getting two crew members and such a great ship, though, it could also be because he's had such little sleep in the past two days, that his grip on his emotions had begun to leave him. Emmy was either very modest of her talents, or perhaps they really did a real navigator if they were going to cross the seas. It was something that he was decent at, but not enough to call himself a navigator either. "I'm not fussed -- you're an amazing cook! Which is more than I can say about myself...haha", he beamed, thinking a little positivity might have helped alleviate the girls sullen mood.

She did have a point though. Without a true navigator to guide them, then they were going to have a hard time travelling to where they needed to, and if it ever came to outmanoeuvring enemy ships, then it would have been a problem. Unfortunately, Felix didn't see much issue in it just yet, and so he shrugged the topic away like a child, and focused on the here and now. When Emmy quietly asked about the night before, the young man felt a sudden tingle in his spine, as he had to think of an adequate response, all the while staving off nightmarish flashbacks to that night, where he was clung to by Emmy, and in the corner, Payasso was there, grinning with her sharp teeth and staring at him in the dark with her eyes open...while somehow still being asleep.

"U-uhm...it's just something I need to get used to...there's nothing wrong with it...I mean...I didn't dislike it...", he spoke softly, failing to hide his embarrassment as he looked down at his feet. He was strangely innocent when it came to this sort of stuff, so attraction was just something he never learned how to convey properly, and it would take some time to get used to it all. Letting out a sigh, he wanted to shake away his insecurities and move onto the main topic at hand, with his lips furling into a devious smile. "Sooo, Emmy. I don't think we got to test out those sweet cannons...could we do that?!"

Emmy listened to Felix as he spoke about the night being something he was going to have to get used to. The girl couldn’t help but laugh a bit as his response. She also had to get used to the way Paya slept… or make a nice closet or a coffin… or anything that would hide her creepy grin. Maybe she could put a bag over her head similar ot how you can put a sheet over a bird cage to make them go to sleep…

Either way Emmy didn’t say much else as the man suggested that they test out the cannons. The girl walked passed him so she was heading in the direction of the weapons. “Sure, but I’m not loading them.” She had no care for using the cannons honestly, but he was the captain, what he wanted to do she would support. She walked out onto tent like canopy which housed the cannon’s and the cannonballs as she looked around. It all looked to be in order over all.

“Just… don’t fire down and hit the ship itself ok?”
The girl asked no wanting to sink on her first trip on this ship.

He gave the woman a hard, anxious stare as he awaited some kind of response, like a child eagerly waiting for permission to go out and play, and once he received that kind of clarification from his first mate, he grinned and the gears in his head started to turn, making it seem like he was up to no good. In truth, he really did just want to test out their firing systems, but being someone that grew up on stories of swashbucklers and heroes of the sea, he often fantasied about having epic sea battles with powerful ships, seeing the cannons as an outlet to let his daydreams run wild.

Following the girl out into the room where the cannon's were, he was practically skipping as he caught sight of the large pile of cannonballs to one side, and the cannon itself. "Man, this thing looks fancier than a normal cannon", he commented, admiring the larger than average shape of the barrel, as well as the fact that there were two. It's not like he was an expert on cannons, but he duly noted what the woman was saying, as he didn't want to be the cause of their crews journey being cut short. With great enthusiasm, he lifted up one of the cannonballs, and slid it into the barrel, before locking the cannon in place and staring out of the window where the thing was pointed.

"Nothing but open sea...~ Perfect!", he mused, before firing the weapon without much warning. A loud banging noise resounded throughout the room, before a large splash of water could be seen rising up in the distance, no doubt being where the cannon impacted. "Holy shit that looked great! You really ought to try this Emmy, it's fun!", he beamed, before heaving another cannonball into the barrel and locking it just like before. It was almost addicting to smell that spent gunpowder as it permeated through the air, and to watch that huge lump of iron soar through the air like that.

Emmy didn’t say much as she watched in silence at her captain’s excitement for getting to use a cannon. She had never used one before either and it seemed like it was a dream for Felix honestly. The girl didn’t move from where she was as she covered her ears before he let loose the cannonball. It got some distance and honestly… she should start getting used to the sound of cannon fire, if for some reason she had to assist in a battle on the ocean… there would be no time for her to cover her ears.

He seemed to be ready to fire another cannonball as he told her that she should have tried it which caused her to walk over to the cannon as she looked where she was aiming, but shifted the aim just a bit to the left from where he had before. “Just once, cannonballs aren’t exactly free you know?” The girl commented as she fired the weapon sending the cannonball flying across the water as it caused a large splash.

“This is harder to aim than I thought.” Emmy mused to herself quietly as she looked at her captain for a moment. Why did he want to be a pirate? As innocent as he was… it just didn’t seem like something that would fit him personally. Hell… he still hadn’t even so much as touched her in the bed and this was the second night she had been cuddling him in a row.

“So, I figured we could check out US of Teriyaki and get some supplies there. Candyland isn’t the best place in the world to get supplies, unless you want sweets.” The girl commented as she took a few steps closer to her captain as she bite her lower lip in a sensual manner. “And you don’t like sweets? Yeah?” She asked her captain without breaking eye contact with him as she was pushing herself up on her tiptoes to be closer to him.

Felix stood in the background, snickering like a devious child as he enticed Emmy into doing a bad thing, only to cheer once it seemed like she had given in. After she had fired the cannon, the young captain looked on in awe as it made the same resounding splash against the water, having already acclimated to the booming sound it made whenever it fired, though now that he thought about it, all this cannon fire must have disturbed Payasso by now...though given that they weren't met by an angry giantess screaming at them, perhaps it was okay?

Amidst Emmy's complaining over cannonball prices and her plans for their next island, it didn't seem like things were going too badly. Before he could say anything on the matter however, a sudden thud shook the ship to it's very core, shaking everything as well as both active crew mates to the point that Felix had to hold onto something. "W-wha...What was that?", He mumbled, before the ship was hit by yet another tremor. This time, feeling quite concerned, the Captain rushed to the main deck, and dipped his head past the bannisters, though no matter where he looked, he couldn't see any enemy ships in sight.

It was only upon hearing the distinct squeals of a Dolphin that he had the insight to look down, spotting a school of the marine mammals, hopping alongside the ship. "Dolphins..?", he mumbled, before they all rammed into their ship once more. There was no doubt now, these fish were pissed, and he had no clue why. "That's the ship that kept firing at us! Let's fuck them up!!", squealed one of the dolphins quite loudly, though no one present would have been able to understand dolphin speak, so it would have sounded like more dolphin squeaking.

The cannon fire went off without a hitch but it seemed that something was getting annoyed with them. Only a few moments after she fired the cannon, it sounded like something hit the side of the Sweet Dreams. The girl blinked a few times as she ran down from the cannon section and down more onto the deck region as she looked over with Felix. Dolphins? There was no way one of them was stupid enough to bump their ship while it was sailing. However only a few moments later, the dolphins all rammed into the ship in unison.

“The fuck?!” The girl screamed as she ran around rushing back into the helm room as she moved their course every so slightly to the left. She wanted to get out of the dolphin’s path but the fact they were ramming the ship… She didn’t see that happening as walked back to the deck. Pulling her thin knives from their slots on her braces, the girl started to balance one on the tip of her finger.

“Have you eaten dolphin before? If they dint, scrap, or fuck up this ship, I’m gonna dart one through its blow hole.” The girl commented with a much darker tone of voice and her tired eyes looked the same, but they almost seemed to gleam in annoyance.

Upon realizing that it was in fact the Dolphin's that were causing this kind of trouble, Felix was wide eyed and practically spitting out air. Why were those fish so pissed at them? and why did it remind him of that shark that almost ate him a week ago? The sudden upset was enough for Emmy to come check it out too, and she seemed like she was ready to butcher those bottle nose creeps, but for once, Felix would have to agree with her bloodthirsty tendencies.

With his brows furrowed and his teeth gritting, he rested one of his legs up on the bannister and rolled his sleeve up, looking like he was about ready to fight those fish head on if needs be. "I'll kick your ass, you stupid fish!", he roared, before another intense shake rattled him to his bone and made him fall back onto the deck. While on the ground, he let out a sigh and thought on it for a moment, now that he wasn't blinded by rage or anything. "Did our cannonballs hit them earlier?", he pondered out loud, thinking it was a likelihood as Dolphins were supposed to be kind and friendly.

Getting up, he turned to Emmy, and while he was happy at the idea of eating them, such a thing wasn't really possible without a means to capture them, and for once, he started to think like a captain. "Emmy, slant the course of the ship away from the Dolphins, and I'll scare them off...", he let out, before returning to the edge of the ship and holding out his palm. He had to be careful not to hit the ship, but fortunately, with most of the wood covered in water, his fire magic shouldn't have been potent enough for it to catch fire. "Leave us alone you annoying bastards!", he roared, all the while firing small blasts of fire from his palm, making sure to aim away from the hull so that it lands by the fish and fizzles out in the water.

Emmy nodded to her captain as he soon gave her orders to moved the ship even more away from the dolphins. Rushing to the helm, the girl started to spin the wheel rather quickly trying to get the ship to turn enough to get them away from the dolphins as they were still at full sail right now. They should have picked up some pacing between them and the dolphins now, however… she was not expecting to see her captain use fire to try to scare them off. She was hoping that he wouldn’t hit the ship with that stuff and kill them all.

At least it was clear out in front of them as the girl locked the wheel in this position as she ran back down to the deck to check on how things were going. The dolphins had given them a bit of distance but were still following right beside the ship. Kissing her teeth, the girl gripped on of her knives rather roughly wanting to throw it but knew she wouldn’t be able to hit the damn wannabe fish from here. However an idea soon crossed her mind, “Keep them busy.” The girl said giving her captain an order as she rushed under deck.

Into the ship’s kitchen she went, there were a few fish that she didn’t see fit for them to eat in the trashbin that she was getting ready to dump overboard anyways. Dolphins liked fish right? Well it was time to bait some flipper fucks. The girl nodded at her plan thinking it’d work.

With Emmy quickly rushing off to swerve the ship in a new direction, Felix was left with the task of swatting those fish away, but as hard as he tried, his fireballs just wasn't getting a good hit on those slippery things, as they kept diving into the sea whenever one got close to them. They were well coordinated for a bunch of angry sea mammals, but Felix wasn't one to give up, and so he kept going without a moments rest, wanting to at least make it hard for the bastards to keep ramming into them like they were doing.

With his sights fixated on the water below, he noticed the subtle shifts in trajectory, as the Dolphins were slowly inching backwards. It wasn't that the fish were slowing down at all, it was just the ship finally picking up it's pace and veering into a different direction. A mild smile formed on his lips as it seemed like their plan was working, as Emmy rejoined him on the main deck shortly after. Upon closer inspection however, even despite the gap between them, the Dolphins weren't letting up on their pursuit, and even Felix knew that it would only be a matter of time before they closed the distance. "Tenacious bastards, aren't they?", he let out, not really knowing what to do at this point.

It was only when Emmy ran off while telling him to keep them busy that the decided to put faith into whatever the girl was thinking, nodding intently before returning to the edge of the ship and conjuring more fireballs to hurl at them. "I hope you have a plan!", he yelled, wondering if the girl could even hear at this point, all the while making sure to aim for the bit of water between the ship and the Dolphins, if only to keep them at a distance.

Rushing back up on the deck as her captain continued to fire balls of flames at the ocean ceiling, the girl didn’t say much as she looked into the water. Tossing one of the fish into the water, it was obvious that a few of the dolphin’s had changed their priorities from the ship to fighting over the dead fish in the water. The girl let out a sigh as it seemed that things were going to go a bit smoother than she had hoped.

“If they come back, we’ll dangle one of the fish on a line and I’ll harpoon it with one of my knives on a line.” The girl said holding up one of her knives as she grabbed a piece of rope tying it to the end of her blade’s handle. She didn’t want to kill the dolphins but at the same time, she didn’t want to have to deal with them punching a hole in the side of her new ship with their headbutts.

The girl continued to throw fish slowly into the water trying to keep a few in reserve to be safe. “Ugh… these things are gross…” The girl said as her face started to grow green much like her hair.

It didn't take many fireballs for Felix to know this was a fruitless endeavour, as the water served as the perfect cover for it. However, while the Dolphin's were cockily screeching away at how much of a dumbass he was, Felix continued to hurl them away, as he threw them with the express purpose to keep them busy, just like Emmy wanted. He could feel his arms growing tired, and his own energy levels depleting quite quickly, so whatever the girl had planned, he hoped she would hurry up with it.

Sure enough, the woman did return to his side, making him smile in relief, albeit it was forced since he was exhausted. He immediately caught whiff of a foul smelling thing, causing him to break concentration for a moment to see what it was. In her hand was a small bucket with reeking fish inside. Once she threw one overboard, he quickly figured out what her plan was, though the smell still made him gag a bit. "T-that...ought to work actually...", he let out, smiling a bit as he watched the Dolphins begin to swarm around the rotting fish.

While she did mention the possibility of killing them if they got too uppity, Felix realized that killing one of their friends would only anger them, and settled for hoping that a few fish dumped overboard would be enough to quell their current issues with them. "Nah, no need...I think they're backing off...seriously though...looks like I can't mess with the cannons too much now", he let out, resting his back against the bannister as he sat on the floor, being damn near wiped out from his earlier display. It didn't look like the Dolphin were following them anymore, which was a big plus, but now they had no clue where they were going.

"So...I guess we have to keep sailing this way -- What's out over in this direction, anyway?"

Emmy was glad that it seemed like the dolphins had started to move away from them. Dumping the rest of the fish in the water, the girl coughed a few times as she removed the rope from her knife and put it on the bucket’s handle. Dipping it down into the water, she brought up enough water to clean her hands before dumping it back overboard. She could still smell it on her hand but it wouldn’t be there once she could get to the ship’s bathroom to properly wash up the way she needed to.

“Yeah the cannons should be for important use… So we don’t get attacked by something more dangerous… like flying sharks or sea hippos or… I don’t fucking know what else.” The girl said as she leaving against the railing of the ship. As the man asked where they were going now, the girl didn’t really know what to say. She had moved the ship a few times to avoid the dolphins… on top of that she wasn’t sure where they were heading fully to begin with.

“Uhhh…” The girl said blanking a bit before she looked in the distance. “Is that land?” The girl asked tilting her head to the side. They had been trying to out run those dolphins for a while. Plus she had them sailing for quite some time when she was up the night before. Maybe they really did make it to an island.
