Hey, you must be new if you've found yourself looking here. Well to put it simply, you've come to the right spot This is where I'll explain to you every aspect of how the Roleplay works in little more than five minutes of reading.

To start off, YOU DO NOT NEED TO MAKE A BIOGRAPHY!

Therefore, you can start Roleplaying right now!

However, please...
for a quick summary on what you can/can't be and can do /can't do without applying for it etc.

if you're a normal guy/girl right now then don't worry about reading much more than that! Start Roleplaying now!

Click here for the full list of rules

Next up! Here is a list of essential information you should know about before you do go IC!

Setting: The Setting is stored inside of the Storyline section, which can be found here. This also includes the current Arc Storyline. The Arc Storyline has a specialized area it is focused on. Therefore, there is a teleporter in the main room leading to the location. In character, this is a quick route you can take from the main room (Loguetown) icly to the destination, so you can transition quickly if you have visited there already. However, a scenic route also exists. We recommend taking the scenic route with your crew if you have yet to reach the destination through conventional means.

Special traits such as Devil Fruits and Haki, are given out as Vouchers when a quest is completed. However, these are given out from a random selection of prizes like a Lottery!
This is the list in reference here. These prizes are handed out through quests to one individual, or a crew. (Depends on the quest). We use a randomized number roll that we have programmed into the forums to give out rewards. Usually, one roll is given as a reward for a quest. If someone completes the main objective of a storyline Arc, they are granted four rolls and an Arc reward. This makes it very desirable to become involved in storylines, and to become known as the one who completed it!

Rules of Roleplay/Combat: The Rules of Combat and Roleplay can be found here.
The Staff of the Roleplay: The Staff hierarchy goes by the following: Administrator, Moderator, Environment Roleplayer. Administrators are more keen on developing how the Roleplay plays out and the RP's dignity. They are our captains, sailing us from one Storyline to the next. They have the same duties as the moderator's as well. While the moderator's duties are central in preserving the RP alike the Administrators, they also are central to aiding with the maintenance of the forums more (accepting and moving topics etc)

Environment roleplayers are not necessarily mods, rather they are individuals who volunteer their time to promote Roleplay so that every member can have a chance to become involved with the RPG. This basically means Environmental Roleplayers' are used to maintain interest in the RPG.

The main goal is for these individuals is to aid in promoting aspects overlooked in many Roleplays such as common folks, beasts, weather, and quest masters/people who give out tasks. (Quests are created by Admins/mods.Quest list is here.
How to make/What is a Quest is here.

The simple reason why Environment Roleplayers exist is in order to ensure that the community has the ability to interact with the RPG in a meaningful way. These types of people aid mods/admins with quests by Roleplaying characters of all types.

To encourage people to volunteer their time as environmental roleplayers, we offer Voucher rolls to those Environmental roleplayers who show proof (screenshots, logs, eyewitnesses) that they are aiding with RP's progress.

However, you will need permission to volunteer as an Environment Roleplayer (EDIT LINK HERE)

Character Techniques and Traits are a necessity when you become an established bad ass.

Character techniques and traits are used in order to rank your characters strengths and weaknesses up to another to help portray fights. This, in essence, lets us visualize strengths and weaknesses in comparison to others. We have three distinctions: Special traits, Character techniques, and Normal traits (or just 'Traits')

Traits are related to strength-stamina-related abilities. Character techniques are unique attacks you have created that have more power than just a normal punch for instance. These are signature style attacks you want your character to be known for. More information exists here.

Banked wealth is used when you exceed the 50,000 Bely :money: threshold. You do not need to create a bank until you've exceeded that mark. Whether you've loaned some money, have been attacked and your money was taken...

The person removing the money, owner or thief, must post a transaction on how the incident occurred etc(why the money would be in their possession now or even your own).

Money can be stolen from you if you indicate it's on your person, or on your ship (through a ship battle, altercation etc). Money cannot be taken from youf it's stored in your bank. You can have your wealth taken from you if you're captured by the Navy even if it is in the bank. However, after you have been jailed, your wealth will default back to 50,000 :money: .

Marketplace: For items you acquire such as Devil Fruits (can't sell haki vouchers/Devil fruit vouchers) and anything else you may receive, you can sell it for Bely :money: there. Can offer your services as well as a Mercenary there too. You can post practically anything tangible/in relation to the RPG on the marketplace.

Ship Creation is actually dependent on the submission of Character Technique applications, as that rating system happens to be the judge for what kind of ships you can unlock for your crew! This is done in order to prevent people from just making giant crews of nameless people so that they can unlock the Island Ship right off the bat. This simple prevention allows for those who are deserving of the ship to be able buy one fit for their status (or crew's status). To read more, click here..
Ship Creation is also a way we keep track of crews. Being in a crew is valuable for the continuation of the RPG.

There are many other things you can apply for, as you can see quite clearly on the forums, specifically Devil Fruit and Haki powers, which are restricted through the means of vouchers.

Vouchers are only granted through quests, as you've read previously. Quests are a way to determine who is active in the community and is deserving of acquiring the Devil Fruit/Haki.

Devil Fruits, however, are given to the Captain of the Crew once the nature of the Devil Fruit has been determined through the rolling system(What type of fruit it is..). Devil Fruit Vouchers and Haki Vouchers cannot be sold. However, Devil Fruits once they are rolled for, can be sold on the marketplace.

I think that about covers up what needs to be mentioned Anything else is for you to find out on your own.

Good luck with your adventures, and let the seas' ever be in your favor.
