This is a common glitch on computers with less memory and bad GPUs, although it may no longer be present in v.20. Once that version has been released, run it and let us know if you still have this glitch. Thanks!

Turns out, this had to do with maximum texture widths! Most computers these days can load 4096x4096 textures, but there are still many that can only do 2048x2048, or 1024x1024. GodsTurf has a laptop that wouldn't load map tiles, and it loads them in the v.20 demo I sent, so yeah, this glitch will not be present in v.20. ;)

Oh, well do you have any idea when 2.0 will be out, Because I'd love to keep playing.

Not sure, that mostly depends on the sprite artists who make the maps/enemies. I can program them rather quickly. I try to not nag them, though, because everyone gets burned out sometimes and needs a break, so yeah. xD I would like to say six weeks, though. Hopefully, because fans can be impatient! xD

Okay, well thank you for the help, and I hope Nintendo doesn't mess up your game like they did with that Mario 64 remake. Maybe they'll let you be and not force you to take it down, which is a sincere hope I have for you guys!

No problem at all, and thanks! I don't think it will be a problem. If the SM64 HD remake got a cease and desist, it's because they were stepping on Nintendo's toes with it, as in, most people would prefer to download an HD version of SM64 for free rather than buy it from Nintendo's eShop. Because OoT 2D isn't going to cause less people to buy OoT from the eShop, or OoT 3D, I doubt it will get a cease and desist. ;)
