OoT 2D broke 100k downloads recently (102,358 as of this post)... that's a high number of downloads for anything, let alone a poorly-coded Zelda fan-game! xD

We weren't far off from 100k when I started implementing the online multiplayer. What better way to thank the fans than to program a few new features? ;)



Some of the previous code for it was reused, but a custom API is now programmed for online multiplayer. Currently, different Links can be in different maps at the same time, the engine can store at least two-hundred Links at the same time, there is a character select screen, and an item that can be used only during multiplayer. It also works over LAN.

What are we doing for 200k*? I have no idea! xD We'll probably come up with something by then. ;)
