Hey everyone, love watching anime and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations, especially recent ones. I watched a ton till around 4.5 years ago, but have been a bit out of the loop since. Not a big fan of stories like One Piece. Really liked NANA, Death Note, Shinrei Tantei Yakumo, Evangelion, D-gray Man, EF, Fruit Basket, to name a few. Looking forward to your suggestions. Thanks, erdbeerfritt |

Erbeerfritt, I wish I could recommend some. But on account of the fact that I've watched perhaps 3 anime series in my life (not including cartoon network's Adult Swim endless reruns of Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Ghost in the Shell), I was rather hoping to receive some recommendations myself. I've seen most of the Miyazaki films and and the film Pom Poko. Other than that, I've seen Blood+ (my initiation into subbed anime), Shinrei Tantei Yakumo's anime and the Ghost Hunt anime. Hopefully the other members of the forum (who seem to not exist just yet) will have lots of ideas. |

There's Hal - The movie It's made on December 2013. The manga is like 2009-ish. It's a twisted/romantic/tragedy genre. |

Hmm...maybe Psycho-Pass? It's sort of like a dystopian thriller. |
