On June 5th and 6th, a once-in-a-lifetime event is taking place outside our planet. Venus will cross over the Sun in a 6 hour event. Why the two dates? Well, it depends on where you are in the world; some won't get to see it at all. Those viewing it on th 5th, in North America, will see it in the evening. Those viewing it on the 6th, in Europe and other points east, will see it at sunrise. More info: Transit of Venus Be sure to read up on the best way to view the transit and not burn your eyes. |
