So far, so good. He had met a nice girl already. Sketched some. Had a few quick talks around. And he had seen that Zorua Faunus around too. Had waved a 'Hello' to him, along with a wide grin before walking along the place, this time with a sandwich in his hand. A sandwich that was slowly but surely being devoured by the red-head. Turning his head, icy blues observed the people he passed, pushing the last bit of sandwich between his lips and munching happily on it. His head turned away, stopped, then looked back at the glint he had seen reflected in-- G o g g l e s. He shifted a bit, cheeks puffed out due to the amount of sandwich that still was in his mouth. Munching on it, he finally managed to swallow. His hand darted up to the goggles on his head for a second, giving it a light pat before he made his way toward the blonde-haired Faunus that stood some ways from him, who excitedly looked around. Obviously, she seemed thrilled to be at schoolgrounds. Could he blame her for that? For some the wait must have felt like forever. And the fear of not getting in. He did notice, however, that there were a lot of Faunus around. If he minded that? Not at all. It was interesting. And he had a lot of people he could draw. Reaching out, he tapped her on the shoulder, giving a friendly wave of the hand when she turned to him, a grin on his face, eyes squinting a bit. "Hey! Enjoying your first day?" he questioned curiously, raising an eyebrow. "Name's Nicholas, by the by. But feel free to call me Nick or Nicky." |

Today was the day! This was it, this was it, this was it, this was it!! She was going to finally start school! It was so exciting, oh!! Even in the crowd, the little vibrava faunus' antennae and wings thrummed with excitement as she darted this way and that. She'd met a small number of people already (small meaning only one, but whatever) and had been entirely too excited to meet more. In fact, she would have stopped the nearest person to gab their ear off...had they all not looked so busy. It would have been nice to find someone that seemed like they'd simply been biding their time to talk to, maybe get an idea of how academy life worked. She did know that she was going to be staying here for the next four years...that was kind of scary, to be honest...but she was a big girl! She could handle four years without her parents! Her (chaotic) train of thought had been derailed by a tap on her shoulder, however, and the tiny blonde turned to direct wide, dual colored eyes at the culprit. Oh! He was bigger than her! And a human! She sure met a lot of large humans. What were they feeding kids in Kalos? The tiny blonde gave a vigorous nod and wide, sharp-toothed smile to the other teen. "Uhuh!! I've never been to Kalos before, much less the academy, so I'm gonna get lotsa explorin' done!!" Her wings gave a tiny flutter in excitement once again. Look at that! People coming up to her to talk! And introducing himself right off? How polite! "Nice ta meetcha, Nicky~!" The little vibrava chirped. "Name's Jillian! My mum and pop call me Jill, though! Did ya wanna go explorin' with me? It's always more fun with more people~" |

There was a blink of the eye before the ebony-haired finally let out a laugh at the excited girl before him. Talkative, excited and she seemed like an absolute cutie. Kind of reminded him his little brother whenever he was excited over something. Wouldn't shut up, no matter what you did. It was endearing in a way. And whether he got a problem with it? No. Not really. He could pretty much get the same. Keep on talking without interruption, if he wished to. Folding his arms over his chest, he watched her closely before giving a light laugh when she told him that she had never been to Kalos before, and it was her first time in an Academy. Well then, that was-- Actually that was pretty amazing. She got into this school like that? Her performance must have been amazing... She must really know what she's doing in battle. Blinking once, he finally gave a light nod, putting up a hand. "Kalos is a nice place, I'm from here myself." he commented with a light shrug. "Got good marks at the last place I was at. And got accepted here." he chuckled, eyes glistening up. "I think my dad would be super disappointed if I had not been approved, to be honest." he grumbled softly, frowning a bit before shaking it off, that infamous grin returning to his face as she spoke of exploring the place. "Now who am I to reject the offer of exploration, Jill?" he commented, giving a two-fingered salute. "I'd love to. Come on!" he stated, jabbing a thumb over his shoulder. He'd ask her later on if he could draw her. For now, he thought she would be too excited and squirmy to sit down long enough for him to draw her anyway. And hey, he had four years to do it. Plenty of time, wasn't that? |

She'd clapped her hands together upon hearing that the other teen was from Kalos. That was--! That was lovely! That meant he most likely knew his way around! That meant she wouldn't get lost if she was with him! Ohhhh, that was exciting! "But ya did! And I bet yer pop's super proud of you!" Unlike her parents, aheh....heh... The notion was quickly brushed away, however. Why? Because he'd agreed to explore with her, that was why! She wasn't going to get lost, hoorah! Once again, Jillian gave a few excited beats of her wings. "Yesssss!!" She chirped. "Where do you wanna go? We got a couple hours until 'Orientation', whatever that is, so let's find lots of stuff, eh?" |

He put his hands behind his head, resting them on his red hair and raising an eyebrow at the way she had clapped her hands together. Wait, was him coming from Kalos a good thing? Oh, perhaps it was. Well, concerning the place it would be. He wasn't that well known with the school yet... But the Kingdom of Kalos, he was very known of. Ugh, all the nights spent learning about each and every part of the Kingdom. It had been a drag. But in the long run, it had helped him with his education. He would begrudgingly admit to that. When she mentioned his 'pop' being proud at him, he couldn't help but give a wide grin. He certainly hoped his pops was proud of him. He had done his damned best to get into this academy. "Well... There's a lotta places when it comes to the school. It really depends on where you want to go.. Unless you meant going down to Lumiose... When it comes to that--" he gave a somewhat cheeky grin before putting up his hand. "But we probably shouldn't." he hummed, waving a hand in the air. "We could check out Couriway Airship port. Hah, we could even check out the Winding Woods, but I heard Ramos isn't to be messed with..." he pondered, tilting his head a bit before walking along with her. "There's also the exploration of Lumiose Cafetaria. See what kind of foods they serve. Or perhaps the Parfum Ballroom. I heard it's huge!" |

Her mind reeled at the choices that the other had given her. She didn't know what half of these things were! And who was Ramos? Ramos was...? A tree? A Grimm? An animal? She wasn't sure! The little blonde moved to look down at her fingers, countingthe number of places he'd asked her to go. There was the Parfum Ballroom, the woods, the airship port...she'd been there already...and...the cafeteria? She...supposed she could get some snacks, but did she really need them today? It wasn't like she was going to keel over from no food. Snort. Not to mention, food costed money, and she'd been at the point where she wanted to save hers. So, the cafeteria and the airship port was out. And that left...what, the ballroom and the woods? Why would they even go to a ballroom, anyway? Weren't those things super stuffy and junk? Sounded boring. "Let's go to the woods!" She chirped, grinning. "There ain't many people in the woods, right? We cann probably play tag and climb trees and I could spread my wings too!!" He saw the look on her face, causing him to snicker softly before slowly lean closer to her, eyes glistening up. "Ramos is a teacher, by the way. I believe he is very fond of nature. And the Winding Woods is his baby." he added with a light shrug. "Or so I heard. With that said, he leaned back, hands stuffed into his pockets. And he waited patiently for the girl to decide where she wanted to go to. Personally, the Winding Woods seemed like a nice idea. Explore the woods, do a bit of parkour. Getting down wouldn't be much of a problem. It was getting up again. And if Ramos found them there... Perhaps they'd be in big trouble. But that was why they shouldn't get caught then. There was a mischievous smile that played around his lips for a second before he snapped out of it when Jillian turned to him and stated she wanted to go to the woods. "I don't think there'll be any people in the woods. Unless they want to end up getting caught and scolded by Ramos." he stated, tilting his head. "But it is a nice idea. I wouldn't mind exploring that place at all." he added with a toothy grin. |
